Oui! 😆

Visitors of the last few days. For the slate junco I hope I'm not mistaken, I found the name thanks to Google Lens because I didn't know this specie of passerine since I am learning the names of the birds in my region at the moment in English and French not being born here.

I’m doing my ADHD evaluation with the School of Psychology of the Ottawa University. I was supposed to receive a link to discuss with the administration about the fees, I received a call because I quote “but I’m the administrative manager“. I don’t care who you are, a phone call is a phone call. 🤷‍♀️
You have no idea how many times I got a call even if they asked me my preference of communication in the preliminary questions, before they finally got it! 🙄

Thank you! Having two feeders like you mentioned is what I have in mind actually.
I saw only online to pay attention to the kind of suet, because it can froze of course and so depending of the size of the birds, it can be impossible for little ones to eat it.
Where do you get your seeds?

2024-12-14 19:12:44 UTC

A question for #birds lovers especially in #Canada because of our winter (I'm in Ontario).
I woud like to begin to give food to the birds, so I checked online and I found some general adivce from legit websites but I would like to get your input based on your experience and probably your trial and errors.
I was thinking to begin small with sunflowers seeds but I see also mention of suet especially with artic temperatures. What do you think? Any advice for beginners are welcome. Thank you. 😊

You have no idea how many of my learners living in Qc are struggling to practice/use their French. And they want to do it so much!
So, I always tell them to continue in French, even if the other person speaks English, because they will quickly realize that their French is intelligible or not depending on how the interaction is going. But, they don’t want to be a burden for their interlocutor and they think that their French is bad. 😭

December means a new chapter in my Egyptology course but I'm not very fond of the subject.
So, in order to try to bypass my #ADHD tendency to be quickly and heavily bored by it and so to not study, I'm giving myself 10 minutes at least of study with the White Noise app in the background.

First appointment this Monday or the #ADHD diagnosis. I talked to the health professional on the phone because there was any mention on my file, despite telling them 2 times 🙄 about my communication preferences, but now she knows!
Anyway, she has no issue with my self identification of being autistic. And she knows and used the terms neurodiversity and neurodivergence, so I'm relieved and less anxious for the all process!
