A piece of news you might overlook:
Students are being bombed inside their university campus—young people simply trying to reach their future.
Deprived of food, without adequate clothing to protect them from the cold, they are now being bombed while trying to continue their education.
The news ends here, but their suffering does not.

We’ve started using coffee as a substitute for food because prices have become unbearably high. Even the simplest necessities are becoming luxuries.
But today, I want to focus on something small and beautiful. ☕🤍
What do you think of my coffee?
We’ve been deprived of so much, and this war has taken away countless reasons to be happy. Still, I’m trying to find little moments of joy wherever I can, even if it’s just a cup of coffee.
Sometimes, happiness isn’t about having everything we need. It’s about holding on to the little things that help us feel alive when life has taken so much away.
Tell me, how do you find happiness in the smallest things?

Hello, dear friends. ❤️
If you are unable to donate to support us here in Gaza, please do not underestimate the power of sharing our posts. Sometimes, a single share can reach someone who is able to extend a helping hand and save a life.
The situation here has become unbearably difficult. Prices have skyrocketed, essential goods have disappeared from the markets, and what little remains is beyond our means. The prices of some goods have increased tenfold, turning even the most basic necessities of life into luxuries we can no longer afford.
We are not asking for luxuries. We are simply trying to survive in a place where life itself is becoming more expensive and more painful with every passing day.
Please, if you cannot give, help us make our voices heard. Do not let our words disappear into silence. Your share may seem like a small gesture, but for a family struggling to survive in Gaza, it could mean the difference between finding help and being left alone to face this hardship.
Please stand with us. Share our posts and help our voices reach those who can lend a helping hand. 💔🇵🇸

The third wave of famine has begun in Gaza.
The engineering of starvation is not merely hunger brought about by war; it is a pattern of systematic deprivation in which the essentials of life — food, water, and medicine — become tools of pressure.
From restricting the entry of humanitarian aid to destroying the foundations of local food production, including farmland, bakeries, and water sources, the food crisis continues to deepen, depriving people of their most basic right: the right to survive.
Today, Gaza faces a new wave of hunger amid UN warnings about the risk of famine and malnutrition. When food is deliberately kept out of reach, hunger becomes a threat to life, and silence in the face of it becomes an abandonment of our shared humanity.
Please do not leave us alone to face this fate, whose end is death.

Gaza Today…
No words. No comment.
Long queues for a bundle of bread, and faces worn down by waiting, fear, and hunger.
The signs of a new famine are looming, as if all this people have endured were not enough.
Today, Gaza captures the entire tragedy in a single scene…
Queues for bread, and a silence that words cannot begin to describe.

Since the crossing was closed, fruits and vegetables have begun disappearing from our markets, and the prices of even the most basic necessities have risen to unimaginable levels.
A kilo of sugar now costs 70 shekels — approximately $22.
Imagine having to pay $22 for just one kilo of sugar. Imagine what that means for a family already struggling to survive, for parents trying to feed their children, and for people who have lost almost everything.
In Gaza, even the simplest necessities of life are becoming luxuries beyond reach. Survival grows more expensive by the day, while our choices grow fewer and fewer.
How are we supposed to survive when even the most basic necessities become unaffordable? 💔🇵🇸

Hello, how are you all?
I’m sorry to bother you, and I feel embarrassed to have to ask for your help.
I urgently need to raise €400 to cover some essential needs, broken down as follows:
* €200 for nutritional supplements and injections.
* €100 towards an outstanding payment for previous medical treatment.
* €100 for food
Would you be willing to share my post to help me reach this goal? Every share means so much to me and brings me closer to covering these urgent needs.
I’m truly grateful to every one of you for your kindness, support, and understanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hello, my friends,
I feel embarrassed writing these words, but today I truly need your support and kindness. I’m afraid I may have to stop my treatment because the costs have been piling up and have become more than I can afford.
I’m doing my best to cover these expenses with the donations I receive, but support has been scarce, and the amount I manage to raise is not enough to continue my treatment.
I need to raise €300 so I can continue my treatment. With all my heart, I hope you can help me reach this amount, even if it’s simply by sharing my post with someone who might be able to help.
I’m sorry once again for making this request. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time, every kind word, and any support you can offer me. 🤍

While browsing through my old photos, this one caught my attention: a cup of coffee and a little peace and quiet that now seem further away than I can reach.
I’m a coffee lover, and spending long hours in front of the computer has made me depend on it as a stimulant to keep me awake, almost like a little ritual that helps me regain some energy amid life’s many demands.
Can you imagine that I now miss even drinking that cup of coffee? I miss those ordinary moments I never thought would one day become memories I would long for.
Our problems seemed so big back then that we believed they were the end of the world. In the midst of our disagreements, we forgot that there were so many things to be grateful for, and that the peace and quiet we sometimes grow tired of may one day become the very things we wish for most.
Today, as I look at this photograph, I find myself wondering: Were our problems really that serious? Or did we make them bigger than they were because we had no idea what life would look like when it took away things we could never get back?
Sometimes, we need to step away from the noise of our days to realize that what we once saw as the end of the world was nothing more than a small obstacle along the way.
I’ve left you a photograph somewhere between the present and the past.

Good morning, a morning of hope, and a morning of faith that when God takes away something we love, leaving a wound in our souls that no one else can see, He is still able to replace our pain with a peace that touches our hearts and a comfort that helps us find our way back to ourselves.
Whenever I feel weak, I return to old photographs, to days before we lost almost everything. I look at my children’s faces and remember the little moments that brought us so much happiness. Every Friday, I used to take them for a drive along the seaside road. We would travel together, watching the horizon, finding simple joy and a sense of peace in the blue of the water and the vastness of the sky, a feeling that reminded us of the life we had always dreamed of.
We never knew that these ordinary moments would one day become some of our most precious memories, or that we would need to return to them to find strength when life became overwhelming.
We have lost so much, but we have not lost our ability to hope, nor our faith that what comes from God carries mercy within it, even when it takes us time to understand it.
O God, compensate us for everything we have lost. Mend our hearts with a tenderness worthy of Your mercy, and grant my children and me days of safety, when we can return to the sea without fear, laugh from the depths of our hearts, and finally feel that life is offering us some of the tenderness we have been deprived of.
A morning of hope to every heart exhausted by loss, yet still believing that what lies ahead may be more beautiful.

I apologize for sharing this heartbreaking video, but please, share it so it reaches everyone who blocks us and wounds us with cruel words whenever we ask for help.
Listen to the little girl’s screams as she burns… Imagine, for a moment, that this is your own child’s voice, and that the flames are consuming your loved ones before your very eyes.
In Gaza, fire no longer destroys homes alone. It steals mothers and leaves children to face life with shattered hearts.
Any of us could be in their place. Every child deserves to survive and live in safety, cradled in their mother’s arms.
Please, do not silence our voices or add to our suffering with your harsh words. Share this video, in the hope that this little girl’s cries will reach the conscience of the world.

#MobileCinema in Gaza travels through displacement camps, shelters, and the ruins of destroyed homes, bringing moments of joy to children and easing the heavy psychological toll of war on their young souls. Even amid the devastation, children deserve the chance to dream and smile.

Gaza Today
I do not believe modern history has witnessed a human tragedy on this scale, or massacres this brutal, as those Gaza has endured.
What astonishes me is not the cruelty that continues to devastate the land and its people, but the helplessness that has gripped the world, and the silence that has lasted so long that suffering has become an everyday spectacle, and the blood of innocent people has become little more than passing figures in the news.
What kind of world watches children being killed, homes being reduced to rubble, and mothers being torn from the arms of their children, only to stand by as though this tragedy has nothing to do with them?!
The tragedy lies not only in the sheer scale of destruction, but also in the fact that all of this is happening before the eyes of the world, while consciences seem unable to turn what they witness into a stance, or what they feel into action.
Gaza will remain an open wound in the conscience of humanity, and one question will continue to haunt this world: How much more blood must be shed, and how many more lives must be lost, before the human conscience awakens—before it is too late?

Last night was one of the worst nights.
💔💔💔
“Turning a Blind Eye to #Gaza”… This Is What Remains of Last Year’s Agreement!
They wanted the events to fade from the media spotlight, so the ceasefire agreement came along to give the world the impression that the tragedy was over, while #Gaza remained immersed in pain and destruction.
A full year has passed, and the truth continues to cry out in the face of the world: Gaza has not recovered, the destruction has not been erased, and the suffering of its people has not ended.
Gaza has not found the relief its people had hoped for. Instead, it has found itself trapped in silence, as the tragedy unfolding there has gradually disappeared from media screens.
Gaza does not need an agreement that silences headlines. It needs a genuine peace that protects the lives of its people, brings their suffering to an end, and restores their right to live.

Gaza right now.
💔💔💔💔💔
I’m sorry for sharing such a painful post. I wish I could bring you only hope and optimism, but the truth is that tonight is unbearably difficult.
What does it mean to have a neighboring home bombed? It means running in terror, helping the elderly, carrying children and infants, and watching panic turn an ordinary night into a nightmare. In seconds, the feeling of safety disappears, replaced by chaos, fear, and desperate prayers for survival. 💔
Nights in Gaza are unlike any other. They fall upon us like burning embers, turning homes into rubble and dreams into prayers for survival.
Please keep Gaza in your hearts. We are exhausted from surviving nights no human being should ever have to endure. 💔

Good morning…
A morning with broken hearts and souls worn down by absence, when we try to be stronger than we truly are.
I saw this picture in a book belonging to one of our neighbors’ little girls, and it took me back to my own childhood… to a time when a book was a window to dreams, not a reminder of everything we have lost.
And I quietly wondered:
Do our children deserve all that we are living through?
They should be carrying dreams, books, and toys… not fear and heavy memories.
Perhaps sharing these words will reach a heart that believes childhood has a right to life, and that our children deserve a gentler morning.

Everyone is afraid… even the most vulnerable creatures, who do not understand what is happening but can sense the danger and search for somewhere safe to hide.
Today, fear is not limited to human beings. Even the most helpless creatures tremble at the sounds tearing through the night.
💔💔💔💔💔💔
The sounds of warplanes and reconnaissance drones are terrifying today, beyond words.
They circle above us as though they will not allow our hearts even a moment of peace, and every sound awakens an old fear within us.
Our hearts are trembling, and our souls are exhausted from waiting for what might come after this heavy silence.

Mohammad Al-Zanati, only 15 years old.
Today, Tuesday, he went to rescue an injured person. A missile struck him and killed him.
What did he feel in his final moments?
Did he think of his mother? Was he afraid? Or was he thinking only about saving the injured person?
15 years old… He should have been living, not dying while trying to save a life.

It is painful enough to make us ask: Where has this war brought us?
Just moments ago, right before our eyes, we witnessed a scene that sent shivers down our spines.
A group of young women were walking nearby when, suddenly, one of them abandoned her little daughter, who appeared to be around a year and a half old. The child appeared to have special needs.
I picked up the little girl and ran after her mother for nearly 300 meters, but her mother did not turn back. She walked away, then told the girl who was with her, “I don’t want her.”
The other girl was the one who took the child from me. She told me that the mother could no longer carry her, and that was why she had left her behind.
I stood there helplessly, unable to comprehend what I had just witnessed, or how a human being can be pushed to such a level of exhaustion and despair.
This happened this afternoon, near the Palestinian Bar Association in Tal al-Hawa, Gaza.
Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakeel.
Everyone, if we are no longer able to bear this reality, then let us at least spare children the consequences of our helplessness. Let us think carefully before bringing children into a life we are no longer able to protect them in.
War does not only kill people. Sometimes, it slowly empties a person from within, until they can no longer carry the heaviest thing a mother’s heart could ever carry: her child.

The hardest part of this life is receiving a warning about the very place where you are, while being away from your tent at that exact moment…
You hold your phone with trembling hands and call your family once, twice, ten times… but no one answers.
Dark thoughts begin to creep into your mind, and every unanswered call becomes a new kind of pain. In those moments, you are not as afraid for yourself as you are of the possibility that something terrible may have happened to someone you love.
In Gaza, we have learned to live with fear before the danger even arrives. We tremble at silence more than we tremble at the sounds of bombardment.
Here, the last time you hear the voice of someone you love may come without you ever knowing that it will be the last.
This is not a life… it is a constant wait for news we desperately do not want to hear.

This is the problem I see as well: people who share the truth, speak honestly about what is happening, and insist on showing the suffering and rights of their people often receive less support.
But I do not believe the solution is to keep asking only for help and donations. We are an educated people, and we have so much to say and offer the world. We should also show who we are, how we think, and what we are truly experiencing, rather than reducing ourselves to the image of a hungry person waiting for help.
I do not know why we sometimes act as though the only way to receive support is to keep repeating, “I am hungry, help me.” I fear that constantly presenting ourselves this way can, over time, turn a person who is simply trying to live with dignity into someone who is seen only as a beggar.
Yes, we need help, and I am not ashamed to say that. But we also need to preserve our dignity and show the world that we are so much more than our need for money.

2026-09-13 08:48:29 UTC

I’m sorry, but honestly, I feel like the only people who receive help are those who cry and show their children in heartbreaking pictures. I would rather die than expose my child that way.

2026-09-13 08:42:19 UTC

- reply

Is it because I do not cry, and I do not show my children holding empty plates and saying, “We are hungry,” that I do not deserve help?
Is it because I try to protect my children from seeing my weakness and pain, and refuse to turn their suffering into a way of seeking sympathy?
Is it because I endure my pain in silence and try to remain strong for them that I deserve help any less?
I am not hiding my suffering, but I refuse to show the world my children’s dignity broken just so people will believe that we are in need.

2026-09-13 08:31:29 UTC

- reply

No. There are people who are raising substantial amounts of money while taking away the share that could have gone to others who are genuinely in need. And yet, they continue to say every day that they are hungry. Believe me, they are not being honest.
How much is ever enough? Haven’t they already raised enough to meet their needs, yet they continue to cry out every day that they are starving?
I do not blame those who are struggling. I blame the donors who continue to give without looking closely at where their money is going, while others who are truly desperate are left with nothing.

2026-09-13 08:23:07 UTC

I will not write a donation appeal today, because I have started to fear that I already know the outcome… I will write, explain, and plead for help, only to find that no hand reaches out to me.
For weeks, I have been asking for help.
I am suffering from recurrent bleeding and need blood transfusions and medical treatment. At the same time, I am afraid I will lose my chance to return to work simply because I cannot afford the costs of the training I need.
Today, my children started their school year, and they went to school without even the most basic stationery and school supplies.
I am not asking for luxury, nor do I dream of anything extravagant. I am asking for simple necessities — things that should be ordinary in the life of any mother and her children.
I am both a mother and a father, trying to carry my family on my own through everything we are living through.
So I want someone to answer me honestly:
Do you believe I do not deserve help?
I do not look at other campaigns with envy, and I do not want to compare my suffering to anyone else’s. But I am simply asking you to look closely at the donation list.
Some people have raised thousands of dollars, while after weeks of asking for help, I have received only $17.
Just $17.
I want someone to answer me.
Look at this list and tell me: Where is the problem? Why is what I am going through met with such overwhelming silence?
I am sorry for writing so openly, but I am writing this while crying — not only because of the pain I am living through, but because of the weight of feeling that your suffering is seen… and then passed over as though it means nothing.
I am not asking for the impossible.
I am only asking not to be left alone.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Look closely at the list where I have raised only $17, and then look carefully at the other list.

I always try to share with you the news that reflects who we are — news that says that, despite everything, we still love life. We are trying to catch our breath, to stand again, and to create a small space of hope for ourselves and our children.
But sadly, today’s news is very different… ⬇️⬇️⬇️
The funeral of a martyr and her unborn child, who succumbed to injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli occupation forces south of Khan Younis three days ago.
Even dreams that have not yet been born are being buried in Gaza.
We try to hold on to life, while every day another person, another dream, another unfinished story is taken from us.
Gaza is still bleeding, and the war has not ended.

I no longer look at the future the way I used to.
After everything we have lost, the meaning of dreams has changed. They are no longer simply wishes; they have become a responsibility.
To keep going despite everything, to rebuild amid the ruins, and to create in Gaza something worthy of those who are gone and those who still hold on to it.
Perhaps all this pain, heavy as it has been, was not the end of the story… but the price we had to pay to begin again, and to build a life that war can never destroy again.

If you didn’t see anything at all, and even though I feel like my voice is not being heard here, I would still like to post something beautiful. 💔💔🥰🥰🥰💔💔
I watched them running across the field, chasing a small ball as if they were chasing life itself. Their joyful voices filled the air, and their remaining limbs painted scenes of determination across the grass. Some of their kicks looked as though they had come from the feet of the greatest players in the world.
I looked closely at their faces. Some had lost a leg in this war, while others carried the scars of previous wars. Yet they all refused to lose something far more precious than their limbs: their will.
They did not come onto the field to mourn what they had lost, but to declare that they are still here — dreaming, resisting, and creating joy in the heart of pain.
In a city exhausted by war and buried beneath rubble, these players with amputated limbs ran after the ball as if they were running over the ruins of despair itself. Every pass was a message of life, and every goal was another victory over war.
The war has taken parts of their bodies, but it has failed to take the passion and hope from their souls.

Could you please share my post?
These are photos from tonight’s bombardment and the victims who were killed. 💔💔💔
I just want to understand…
What more are we expected to face in Gaza?
For three years, we have been trapped in a night that refuses to end. We sleep with fear, we wake with fear, and in between, we count those who are still here, mourn those who are gone, and try to convince our hearts that tomorrow might be a little less cruel.
Three years have passed over our souls like an entire lifetime.
Homes have been reduced to rubble. Faces have disappeared before we could say our final goodbyes. We have carried what remained of our lives into tents, facing the summer heat and winter cold, while prices keep rising and the weight of need grows heavier for those who have nothing left but patience.
Even our children no longer have a childhood like the rest of the world.
They learn the sounds of bombardment before their school lessons. They learn fear before they learn what safety means. And we try to protect whatever light remains in their eyes, while an exhaustion grows inside us that we no longer know how to put into words.
And every morning, we ask ourselves:
What do we have left?
A home that became a memory.
Safety that became a wish.
Loved ones who left behind an emptiness nothing can fill.
And an uncertain future, standing before us with hands worn down by waiting.
How can you ask a human being to carry all of this, and then simply tell them: “Be strong”?
How can a heart that has witnessed so much death ever return to what it was?
And how can a mother who spends every night fearing for her children wake up in the morning as though nothing happened?
We are not numbers in the news, nor passing images on your screens.
We are human beings who once had lives: homes and dreams, books and memories, little plans for tomorrow… Then war came and took whatever it could, leaving us with the painful task of trying to continue with whatever remains.
Three years…
Isn’t that enough, world?
How long must suffering speak before it is finally heard?
How many dreams must be buried before someone says: Enough?
We are not asking for the stolen years to be returned. Some of those taken by war could not be brought back even if all the years in the world were given to us.
We only want a life in which survival is not a daily miracle.
A morning when we are not afraid of another terrible piece of news.
A night when we can sleep without holding our children close, afraid that we may not wake up.
A roof over our heads, instead of a tent being the last shelter we have left.
We want an ordinary life…
That simple thing so many people live every day without thinking about its value has become, for us, a distant dream.
God, please do not let our suffering pass as though it never happened.
And do not let those who witnessed all of this forget that they witnessed it.
Some wounds do not need anyone to prove that they exist…
But they do need a living conscience, so that this tragedy does not become something that happens again. 💔

The war has not ended. It has only grown more brutal.
At dawn today, morning did not come as the beginning of a new day, but as the beginning of yet another tragedy.
Occupation aircraft bombed the home of the family of Moamen Ahmed in Beit Lahia Project while they were asleep. Moamen Ahmed, his wife, and their three daughters were killed.
Four lives extinguished in a single moment, while they were asleep in the safety of their home, among their family.
May God have mercy on the victims and grant strength and patience to those who lost them.
Every day, Gaza awakens to new names, new homes erased, and families torn from life while the world looks on.

The school year begins in Gaza…
Imagine she was your daughter…
Imagine a little girl carrying her schoolbag,
waiting for her first morning at school,
dreaming of new books and colorful notebooks,
and of writing her name on the first page of a new school year.
But in Gaza…
even children’s joy has become a target for death.
Burned school supplies…
A charred car…
And scattered remains.
Little Wafaa never made it to her school.
She never wore her school uniform,
never opened her new notebook,
and never got to experience the joy of her first day at school.
In a direct strike on their car,
little Wafaa and her father, Yousef Akila, were killed.
Her school year ended before it even began.
O cruel world…
Imagine she was your daughter.
Then tell us…
How could a little girl possibly be a threat,
simply because she was on her way to her very first day of school?

A Photo of Beloved Gaza — 23/09/2023
The war did not simply begin.
Our lives began to end.
Since that day,
Gaza has no longer been a homeland we return to…
but a wound we live inside.
Everything was taken from us.
Our homes.
Our safety.
Our bread.
Our dreams.
Even the very shape of life.
We began living in a prison without walls,
watching the world…
while the world could not see us.
We scream.
We are buried.
We lose.
And then we fall silent.
Three years,
and death is still taking whatever remains of us.
We are not living here…
we are only postponing another death.
Oh Gaza,
how many lives must be lost
before your pain is finally heard?
And how many times must we die
for the world to understand
that all we ever wanted…
was simply to live?

To the world watching Gaza search for water:
Can you imagine a person being killed simply because they stood in line for a cup of water?
This is not a scene from a movie, nor a story from some distant past.
This is what is happening in Gaza today.
The Mekorot water line supplying Gaza was cut off, reportedly because sewage had reached the line, forcing people to rely even more heavily on groundwater—salty and contaminated water that is often unfit for human use.
And so, water, which should be one of the most basic human rights, has become a daily battle for survival.
Long lines, overcrowding, pushing, disputes and arguments…
And every person standing in those lines carries enough fear, hunger, loss, and exhaustion in their heart to break anyone.
But today, it reached an even more horrifying point:
A person was killed by his neighbor while drinking water was being distributed.
Think about this painful contradiction:
In a place where water is supposed to save people’s lives, people are now losing their lives because of it.
We do not justify violence, nor do we accept desperation turning into violence between people. But can anyone truly imagine the pressure of a person who fights every day for food, medicine, and water, then stands in a long line not knowing whether they will return to their children with water—or empty-handed?
World, this is not merely a water crisis.
This is a human being left alone to fight for survival.
Gaza does not need more chaos.
It needs water, and it needs a fair, binding system that ensures everyone can access it while protecting people’s dignity and lives.
When a cup of water becomes a wish, and a water queue becomes a place where a person may lose their life, the question is no longer: What is Gaza lacking?
The question is:
How many basic human rights must be taken away before the world recognizes what is happening as a humanitarian catastrophe?

Hello, I’m Nada from Gaza, a mother and a father to my family at the same time. My children’s father is injured; he lost one of his eyes and the other was severely damaged. I carry the responsibility of an entire family, along with the costs of my own treatment.
School will start in just a few days, and I need €350 to cover my family’s basic needs, as well as treatment and school expenses.
I wrote a few days ago about needing help, but unfortunately, I received only €10. I don’t know why, but I’m trying again… because I have no choice but to keep writing and asking for help.
I’m grateful to all of you.

Separation
Separation has become something we carry with us, as if the war came not only to kill us, but to tear away everything we love, one thing after another. Since it began, it has taken our homes, then our sense of safety, then someone dear to us, then a dream… until all that remains are hearts weighed down by everything they have lost, and souls pretending to be strong so they do not collapse.
We have begun saying goodbye more often than we meet, losing more than we ever possess, carrying in our memories faces that were supposed to remain with us. And every time we think the pain has reached its limit, another separation comes to teach us that grief has doors we never knew existed.
Our hearts are bleeding in silence… If you could see what lies within them, you would weep blood instead of tears for us. We no longer fear separation alone; we have begun to fear the day when there will be no one left for us to lose.

I never imagined that I would find myself in this life as both a mother and a father to a family, carrying its responsibilities on my own and trying to stay strong for everyone, while my own health has also begun to decline. I am now doing my best to regain my strength and health.
As the start of the school and university year approaches, the needs we cannot postpone continue to pile up: school supplies, food, clean water, medical treatment, and the basic necessities that every person needs to continue living with dignity.
We have lost so much—almost everything we once had—but life has not stopped, and neither have our responsibilities.
I am writing and asking for help because I need to raise €350 to cover some of these essential needs. So far, I have only managed to raise €10.
I know that everyone is facing difficult circumstances, and that is why I hesitate so much before asking. But today, I am trying everything I can.
If you are unable to help financially, sharing my post can be a real form of help in itself. Perhaps my message will reach someone who can lend us a helping hand.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who reads, shares, or helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

For the first time in the history of the neonatal unit at Nasser Medical Complex…
The unit is caring for 10 cases at once—an unprecedented situation in which there is no longer a vacant bed or an additional oxygen source available to receive any new cases.
This is not merely a statistic. It is a stark reflection of the immense pressure on the neonatal unit and a direct indication of the growing and urgent need for newborn care services.
Ten babies in need of care at the same time…
and a neonatal unit with no room left for another child.
Behind every bed is a story, and behind every case is a family waiting in silence, while resources continue to dwindle in the face of needs that never stop.

Hello, I feel a little embarrassed writing to you, but I’m trying to find support for myself and my family—for our basic needs and school expenses.
I currently need €350, along with help with some other necessities.
I feel shy asking, but I decided to reach out and try. I’m truly grateful for your kindness and support.

An Image That Captures a Scene of Humiliation and Captivity
A new image documents the moment a Palestinian detainee from the Gaza Strip is taken inside an Israeli military vehicle, in a harsh scene that reflects a painful aspect of the reality of captivity and detention.
The image shows the detainee in a deeply bent position inside the vehicle, while two heavily armed Israeli soldiers sit behind him. The scene raises painful questions about the conditions in which Palestinian detainees are held and the way they are treated.
This is not merely a passing moment; it is a heavy image that reminds us that behind every detainee is a human being with dignity and rights—and that human dignity should never be lost when a person is taken into captivity.

For those who hear that Gaza is drowning in aid, please read these lines carefully…
We, people of Gaza, know the value of every blessing. And who could understand that value better than us, when some of the best young men among us have been killed simply trying to obtain a #PieceOfBread and a handful of flour?
But we are also human beings. We are proud people, and we have spent our entire lives having enough to eat. Receiving aid during war and siege does not mean that we should be given things that no one would accept for themselves.
Especially when the donor pays $700 for this aid package, while its actual value in Gaza does not exceed $30!!
Here is a photo showing the contents of the #FoodParcel, which represents more than 80% of the aid entering Gaza.
As for its contents:
》5 kg of crushed lentils, worth about 1 shekel per kg on the local market.
》5 kg of rice that is not fit for consumption and has no market value.
》4 liters of cooking oil, worth 36 shekels — a genuine necessity.
》4 cans of poor-quality beans with no market value.
》4 cans of good-quality chickpeas — a genuine necessity.
》1 can of tomatoes — good quality.
》½ kg of salt — acceptable.
Note: The quantities listed above are for one box, and the aid consisted of two boxes.
》One bag of flour — a genuine necessity.
What is particularly striking is that items such as beans, rice, and lentils have become a burden on families because of their poor quality or because they make up such a large proportion of the parcel. Together, they account for around 70% of its contents.
The humanitarian request of a Gazan family is simply:
● Change the contents of the parcel to include more diverse and useful items, such as olive oil, canned tuna, canned meat, sugar, milk, bulgur, canned fava beans, and tea.
● Improve the quality of the items so that they are actually fit for consumption.
○ We have not dared to ask for changes that might be considered a luxury, such as adding canned fruit, chocolate, or similar items.
This is very important: please share this post.
Perhaps this message will reach those who need to hear it.

It was beautiful…
It was the most beautiful of all cities.
A city that felt like joy when it passed through the heart, and like safety when we needed it most.
But today, I don’t want to show you Gaza as it once was…
I want to show you the beauty of its nights as it bleeds.
Look at it closely…
Even amid all this destruction, it is still trying to look beautiful.
The sky is still above it, and the night still falls gently, as if nothing had ever happened.
But beneath this night are homes that are no longer homes,
doors that will never open again,
and places once filled with the voices of their people, now filled only with memories.
I am Gaza…
I am not asking you to look only at the rubble.
Look at what once stood beneath it.
Look at the life that was here, the laughter, the little dreams, the people who wanted nothing more than to live.
I want you to see that despite all this devastation,
I still hold on to a little of my beauty…
But I no longer know how much longer I can smile at the sky
while everything beneath me is crying.
This is not merely a picture of a Gaza night…
It is a message from a city trying to tell the world:
I was beautiful… and I still am, despite the fact that you left me to suffer alone.

Good morning… 🌿
From a very small city, one that was born to spread love everywhere.
The war has changed so many people here, weighing our hearts down with more than they were ever meant to carry. But it hasn’t managed to extinguish everything… There are still hearts beating with love, and souls that insist on giving despite everything they have lost.
I’m Nada, from Gaza.
And from the middle of all this pain, I’m sending you something the war can never take away from us…
All my love from here. ❤️

Good evening…
An evening of beauty that we are trying to see, despite all this destruction. 🌙
From northern Gaza, where the war has left nothing as it once was…
I write to you feeling that the war has not only consumed this place, but has consumed me as well. It has drained my energy, exhausted my emotions, and taken more from my health and my years than I ever thought a human being could endure.
Sometimes I feel that there isn’t much room left in life for what is still to come…
As though the years spent beneath the sound of bombardment and fear have weighed more heavily than all the years of my life combined.
And yet…
I still lift my eyes to the sky, searching for a small moon to remind me that beauty, no matter how deeply surrounded by ruins, does not die.
And this is tonight’s moon from northern Gaza… 🌕
A moon rising above us from among the rubble, as if whispering: there is still light, even if it is far away.
If you would like to be part of that light, this is my support link. 💔💔💔

Good morning from Gaza…
If there is still a morning in Gaza that can be called “good.”
From a city where death no longer simply knocks on doors, but slips into moments of joy, snatching people away from their loved ones while they are simply trying to live one minute without fear.
The young man Anwar Shawqi Salmi has died after spending several days in the intensive care unit at Al-Shifa Hospital, following a gunshot wound to the head during the wedding ceremony of one of his relatives two days ago.
There was a wedding…
There were supposed to be ululations, laughter, photographs, and beautiful memories.
But in Gaza, even joy has become fragile in the face of death.
A single bullet was enough to turn what should have been a joyful memory for the family into a funeral, into a mother waiting for her son who will never return, and into a home receiving condolences instead of congratulations.
Anwar was not going to war.
He was going to a wedding.
And yet, he ended up in intensive care, and then he left this life.
What kind of city is this, where people cannot celebrate without fearing that their joy might turn into a funeral?
May God have mercy on Anwar Shawqi Salmi, and on everyone we have lost in such cruel ways.
In Gaza, we are not asking for a perfect life…
We simply want to live without every gathering, every street, and every moment of joy becoming another possibility of death. 💔

In #Gaza, we are not speaking from a place of emptiness…
We are speaking from beneath the rubble, from among the ruins that were once our homes, and from among the photographs and memories of which all that remains is what we carry in our hearts.
We speak of doors that once opened every morning, only for the war to close them forever. Of rooms where we once gathered, now reduced to stones covering the bodies of those we loved. Of faces that once filled our homes with life, now gone, leaving behind only a photograph, a name, or a memory that hurts every time we remember it.
We are not speaking to provoke pity…
We speak because silence has become heavier than we can bear.
Let Gaza speak…
For a wound has the right to be told,
the grieving have the right to weep,
the oppressed have the right to cry out,
and every human being, after all this pain, has the right to say in a trembling voice:
I am tired… Tired of loss, of fear, of waiting, of burying the people I love, and of trying to survive every day as though life were a battle that never ends.
Do not blame those who speak of their pain…
Do not ask the wounded to remain silent simply because the sound of their suffering makes you uncomfortable.
Blame those who created this pain.
Blame those who brought homes down upon the people inside them.
Blame those who made mothers fear losing their children every moment.
Blame those who left an entire city bleeding, and then asked it to remain silent.
Gaza is not exaggerating when it cries… Gaza is simply trying to tell the world that it is still here.
And if our voices hurt you, remember that this voice is nothing more than an echo of the pain we live through every single day. 💔

If you haven’t seen something beautiful today, pause for a moment and take a look at these photos. 🤍
We are a people who live with death every day,
yet, despite everything, we still love life.
We believe in love, and in the power of the heart to create light out of darkness.
In these photos, a man fell in love with a girl,
so he vowed to light up the streets of Gaza for her,
to plant, in the heart of a city exhausted by darkness,
a light that resembles her… and resembles love.
Here, even in the midst of war,
there are still those who dream, love, and light the way for the ones they love. 🕊️🤍

Good evening 🤍
Many of you here have come to know me as someone who has lived through this devastation, and who is still living under bombardment and displacement, trying every day to hold on to whatever remains of life.
I am Nada, both a mother and a father to my children.
My children’s father lost one of his eyes, while the other was severely damaged after he was injured while carrying out humanitarian work with the Ministry of Health. Because of this, I have become responsible for caring for my family and providing for their needs.
I recently went through a severe health crisis that required special care. I am still trying to regain my strength, get back on my feet, and return to my work in university teaching, which I did for two years.
But the road is not easy.
Today, I am facing a major challenge in providing my medical necessities and food, as well as my children’s needs, especially with the beginning of the school year approaching and all the essential supplies it requires.
We are not asking for luxuries, nor are we asking for more than what we need.
We are simply asking for genuine support to help us meet urgent, essential, and deeply personal needs during this difficult time.
If you are able to support me in any way you can, I would be grateful from the bottom of my heart. And if you are unable to donate, simply sharing my post may help our voice reach someone who can.
Thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, and to everyone who takes the time to read, share, or try to ease even a small part of this burden.
🇵🇸🇵🇸
I need around €300 every week, as prices in Gaza are still extremely high.

I’m sorry for the harshness of the image and the disturbing scene, but this is not an exaggeration or a scene from a movie… this is the reality we live every day.
Don’t abandon us…
Don’t leave us alone to face this fate.
And don’t leave our children to an uncertain future, not knowing what it may hold for them.
Stay with us and help amplify our voice… We are not asking for the impossible. We are simply asking for a chance to live.

We don’t die from missiles alone, nor does the harshness of life alone kill us…
Our children are surrounded by death from every direction.
We fear for them from the bombing, from hunger, from thirst, and from diseases spreading amid the absence of even the most basic necessities of life. Even the water we search for to quench their thirst can become yet another source of illness and death.
According to Dr. Munir Al-Barsh, an epidemic is spreading across the Gaza Strip due to contaminated water, and around 58,000 people have been affected by smallpox.
In Gaza, a child no longer has the luxury of fearing just one thing; everything around them has become a threat to their life.
We are not asking for a perfect life… we are simply asking for our children to live.

From the strike that took place moments ago near the Municipal Park, where a large number of people were reportedly killed.
Trapped in an Endless Funeral
Between yesterday’s massacre and today’s massacre, Gaza seems trapped in a funeral that never ends; one catastrophe follows another, blood is spilled over blood that has not yet dried, and new names are torn from life to be added to the lists of the missing.
There is no time for grief to run its course, nor for tears to dry. Mothers open their eyes to a new loss before they have finished mourning an old one, and children have been forced to grow up before their time; they have given up their place in the water line to perform ablution with the blood of their fathers before the prayer of farewell.
As though the doors of mercy have been closed upon Gaza, leaving it alone beneath the weight of death; counting its dead, bidding farewell to its loved ones, and burying what remains of its days. Meanwhile, the spilled blood remains a witness to an age in which simply surviving has itself become a source of pain, and loss has become a daily appointment that never fails to come.
O God, before this bleeding, all we can do is raise our hands to You:
O Allah, have mercy upon our bleeding blood, upon the souls that have been taken, upon hearts exhausted by loss, and upon mothers who have no room left in their hearts for another farewell.

#The_Gazans_Escape
In a small space where Gazans sought refuge from the tents, mosquito bites, rodents, and the unbearable heat of a tent that had stripped away every meaning of humanity, this was the scene. 💔
They came to this place seeking a few moments of fresh air and safety, believing that the sea might offer them a brief escape into life.
But even here, death did not leave them alone.
They fled the scorching heat of the tents, only for a missile to turn their brief respite into a tragedy, killing those who were there.
In Gaza, even the places we seek refuge in to escape death are no longer safe from death. 💔

Gaza Port… Where the Ambulance Fills with Victims
#Gaza
The ambulance was filled with the bodies of the dead moments ago, while Gaza Port was turned into a pool of blood—a scene that captures the scale of the tragedy civilians are enduring, moment by moment.
Among the victims is an elderly man whose head was severed and whose identity has not yet been determined, as well as a child who was killed in the strike.
This is Gaza…
Where the blood has barely dried before more blood is spilled, and where paramedics carry bodies whose owners were not even given the chance to say goodbye.

The death toll has risen to 6.
The death toll has risen to six people following the targeting of a café at Gaza Port, which was crowded with civilians.
In the photo, a woman is among the injured. Her expression reflects the magnitude of the pain left behind by the attack on a place that was filled with civilians.
Gaza is paying yet another price in the blood of its people, even in the places where they seek refuge in search of a moment of safety.

The Israeli military established an earthen barrier this morning in the Kuwait Roundabout area, along Salah al-Din Road in eastern Gaza City, effectively blocking traffic on the road.

This road is one of the main arteries connecting different parts of the city, and its closure is making it even more difficult for civilians to move around, further restricting movement in Gaza amid an increasingly harsh humanitarian reality day after day.

When Nothing Remains of the Soul but the Strength to Endure
I have never known a feeling like this in my life.
To wake up every morning and discover that something else inside you has broken. To look at yourself and wonder how you are still standing, even though you feel that every part of your soul has been shattered.
For so long, I have been trying to gather what remains of me.
I reach into the rubble of my life, trying to find something that resembles strength, something that tells me: Get up. You still have to keep going.
But I am tired.
Tired of having to be strong all the time. Tired of facing everything as though I have an entire army standing behind me, when the truth is that sometimes I feel completely alone, facing an entire army of hardships by myself.
I am fighting to stand on my feet again, to find my way back to life, while at the same time carrying my responsibilities toward myself and trying not to fall apart in front of my children.
I have to be a strong mother for them, even on the days when all I wish for is to find someone who would tell me: It’s okay. You can rest for a while. I’ll carry this burden for you.
And in the middle of all this, one question keeps haunting me:
Why did they leave us here alone?
Why do we have to live in this tiny place, surrounded by all this pain, while things are taken away from us one by one?
They did not only take our homes.
They took our safety, our work, our memories, our dreams, and the days we were supposed to live as ordinary human beings.
They violated our bodies, exhausted our souls, trampled on our memories, and then left us trying to save whatever remains of ourselves.
Even our dignity has become something we struggle to protect with every ounce of strength we have left.
And I am writing this now with a deep sense of shame.
Only €259 remain for me to provide something very important that cannot be postponed.
I know our problems are many, and I know everyone is tired, but this is our life now: a long, endless chain of needs.
They took our lives away from us and left us with nothing but the daily struggle to save whatever remains of them

Bombing is not the only tool of killing.
In the picture, you can see the remnants of the bombing that do not disappear when the explosion ends. Shrapnel and fragments of death remain buried beneath the rubble, turning into time bombs waiting for a child to approach or innocently touch them, only to explode in their face.
What the bombing leaves behind can be just as deadly as the bombing itself.
This picture shows the remnants of today’s bombing in Khan Younis, where the danger does not end when the airstrike is over. It remains hidden beneath the rubble, lying in wait for our children.

What if I told you something in just a few lines?
But before you read, please… don’t read these words with your eyes alone. Read them with your heart, and try to feel the human being hidden behind every line.
For many long months, I have been living in a body exhausted by bleeding.
Bleeding that keeps returning, constant disturbances that give me no chance to catch my breath, and a severe drop in my blood levels that has turned every passing day into a new battle between my body and life.
I have undergone so many treatments and received blood transfusions over long periods. Every time I thought I was beginning to regain a little of my strength, my body would remind me that it was still exhausted.
Sometimes, my blood levels would drop so severely that they affected the way my heart was functioning. More than once, I found myself standing in that terrifying space between life and death… a place where you do not know whether you will open your eyes the next morning.
And in those moments, all I could see were the faces of those I had lost.
I would see them in front of me with a strange clarity, as though the distance between us had disappeared.
I called out to them in silence. I spoke to them. I begged them to take me with them.
I would say to myself: Take me away from this world… it has become harsher than my heart can bear.
And then, somehow, in a way I still cannot understand, I would return.
I would return to life.
Not because I was well, and not because the pain had ended, but because some small part of me was still fighting.
I would open my eyes and tell myself: Maybe tomorrow will be easier.
But tomorrow would come carrying a new kind of pain.
And now, the heat has come too.
We do not live in homes that protect us from the sun. We live in places that feel like open ovens. The heat enters our bodies without mercy, even the air feels heavy, and my exhausted body no longer knows how to keep fighting.
Constant physical disturbances, poor circulation, and exhaustion often make me feel that death is no longer as far away as it once was.
Sometimes I feel as though it is sitting beside me, simply waiting for the last fragment of my ability to endure to disappear.
Even at dawn today…
I faced another moment when I felt that my body could no longer carry me.
I was afraid.
But I fought back.
I do not know where this strength comes from, or why I still cling to life with such determination, even though life itself has left me with so little to hold on to.
Maybe it is because I still want to live.
I want to see an ordinary day, a day in which fear is not part of every detail.
I want to wake up without wondering what my body will do to me today.
I want to breathe without pain, sleep without fear, and live without feeling that death is waiting around every corner.
And every time I place my hand on my chest and feel the weakness in my body, the same question returns.
A small question in words, but heavier than everything I carry:
What did we do to deserve this?
What did we do to deserve having survival become a daily battle?
What did we do to deserve fighting illness, heat, hunger, and fear while the world continues as though nothing is happening?
What did we do to deserve having the dream of a normal life become so impossibly distant?
I am not asking for a perfect life.
I am not asking for anything extraordinary.
I just want another chance…
A chance to live.
I just want to live.
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
A picture of a life we once had
and the life we live today.
What did we do to deserve this?

How are you? I hope you’re doing well.
These days, we are enduring unbearable heat in Gaza. After the buildings around us were destroyed, the sunlight now reaches everywhere, as if it surrounds us from every side and makes these difficult days even harder.
I feel deeply ashamed writing this. 💔
For the past two days, I have been trying to get my plea heard. I need €350 to cover urgent and private necessities—things that are essential, not luxuries. So far, I have only managed to raise €51.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has helped me or tried to support me, no matter how much you were able to give. 🤍
If you can, could you please share my post? Perhaps my words will reach someone who can help me, and I may be able to raise the amount I desperately need.

The war continues.
The shelling continues to follow people even through the smallest details of their daily lives.
In Khan Younis, a young man riding a motorcycle was targeted, in yet another scene reminding us that the war has not stopped, and that death still stalks civilians on the roads and among the neighborhoods.
There is no safe place in Gaza, and not a single fleeting moment of calm means that the danger is over.

Dreams are another world, but sometimes they are more truthful than reality. A world that opens its doors to us when we can no longer face what is happening while we are awake, and gives us, even if only for a few moments, what we have been deprived of for so long.
Last night, I fell asleep at the lowest point a human being can reach. For three years, I have appeared strong, swallowing my fear, hiding my sorrow, and carrying on my heart enough burdens to break a person a thousand times over.
For three years, I kept telling myself: Hold on.
But this time, I no longer knew how.
I feel as though the burden has become too heavy for my shoulders to bear, and the heart that endured everything has begun to crack in silence. Every day, another piece of it breaks, until it has become so fragile that one more blow might be enough to shatter it completely.
I drifted into sleep like a drowning person exhausted by the sea.
Even in my sleep, I felt myself drowning. I reached out my hand, but found nothing to hold on to. I searched for a single breath that could save me from the weight pressing down on my chest.
Then I saw them.
My brothers and my professor were standing in the distance, in a beautiful, peaceful place—a place unlike this world I know… a place where sorrow seemed unable to reach.
I was wearing a white dress, my hair falling freely over my shoulders.
The moment I saw them, I ran toward them.
I stumbled.
I fell.
I got back up.
Then I stumbled again.
As though even my feet were no longer strong enough to carry me.
And when I felt that I could not get up again, my professor reached out his hand.
He held me, looked deeply into my eyes, and quietly said:
“You will be okay soon.”
I broke down.
I cried as I had never cried before.
I cried as though I had been waiting for those words for three years, as though everything I had buried inside me had finally found a place to escape.
My eldest brother came closer and pulled me into his arms.
I collapsed against his chest like a child who had lost her way, crying like someone who had lost everything and could no longer find a single reason in life to keep enduring.
He held me tightly, stroked my head, and said:
“You will be okay.”
I clung to him and begged them not to leave me.
I told them I did not want to go back.
I did not want to return to that world that had exhausted me until it took a part of me away, nor to all that pain I had spent years trying to prove I was stronger than.
Then my younger brother took my hand.
He looked at me as though he could see everything I had been hiding, even from myself.
He said:
“Where did your strength go? Where did your courage go? You were always gentle on the outside, but strong on the inside… What have they done to you?”
Then he looked at my chest.
My heart was visible beneath my clothes.
A small, fragile heart, bleeding terribly.
He could see everything.
Every wound I had hidden.
Every fear I had swallowed.
Every time I said, “I’m fine,” while silently falling apart inside.
My professor came closer, placed his hands on my head, and said:
“Be still… You will be okay soon. You will leave all this pain behind.”
Then he looked at me and said:
“You were the strongest… Hold on.”
They all smiled.
All three of them.
They smiled at me as though they knew something I did not.
As though they had come only to reassure my broken heart that this was not the end.
Then they promised me they would not leave me.
I suddenly woke up.
My tears were still on my face, and my heart was still aching.
For a few moments, I stared into the emptiness, trying to understand:
Was that really a dream?
Or, after my heart could no longer bear reality, did it create another world for me—a world where I could meet the people I miss and hear the words no one knows how desperately I need?
Perhaps dreams are not always an escape from reality.
Perhaps, sometimes, they are a small mercy the mind gives us when the heart can no longer continue.
A hand reaching out to us from somewhere unknown.
A voice coming from afar to tell us:
Hold on…
You are not alone.
And no matter how long this pain lasts, it will not be stronger than you forever.
Then I closed my eyes again, almost afraid to wake completely…
Because, for the first time in so long, that place was the only place where I felt that I was still loved, that my existence still mattered, and that I was still worthy of hearing someone say:
“You will be okay.”
I miss those whom death took from me.
The war has taken away everyone who once stood beside me, everyone who was my strength and my refuge.
And perhaps that is why, in my dreams, I keep searching for them.
Because in a world that has taken so much from me, my heart still remembers what it felt like to have someone beside me saying:
“Hold on. We are here. You are not alone.”

With these people, even the most insane ideas initially sound like a ridiculous joke… until reality wakes you up and tells you they were serious.
Now it’s not just walls, fences, and guards; there are plans to create waterways inside the prison, where crocodiles would swim between the wings, supposedly to “deter” prisoners from attempting to escape.
Even the crocodiles couldn’t escape the genius of Israeli prisons; they would be expected to become guards for the prisoners, while being provided with designated areas for rest, shade, and care.
What an irony…
In a place where prisoners are stripped of their humanity, the biggest concern has apparently become making sure the crocodiles receive proper care.

A photo that needs no caption…
Her leg was amputated by a missile during the war, and her childhood was taken from her before she ever had the chance to know what it meant to be a child.
Today, she carries more water than her small body weighs, simply to help her family survive.
A little girl who should have been carrying her doll… not the weight of survival.
This is how our children live in Gaza.

Let the world’s silence continue… An evacuation warning has just been issued for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
A prelude to a possible bombing.
Even hospitals, which are supposed to be safe havens for the wounded and sick, are no longer spared from fear.
There are patients who cannot flee, wounded people who cannot even carry their own bodies, and children waiting for treatment… yet they are all being told to leave.
Where are they supposed to go?
And how much longer will the world remain silent?

Ahmed Abdel Karim Al-Siqali returned to Khan Younis a few days ago after being released from Israeli detention, carrying the joy of returning home—a joy that would never be complete.
He had been waiting to reunite with his six children, only to face the most devastating truth: all six had been killed in an Israeli airstrike, including an infant and a pair of twins. His wife and daughter survived, miraculously, but were injured.
Ahmed emerged from detention with a body exhausted by the abuses he says he endured while in custody, only to discover that what awaited him outside was even more devastating than captivity itself.
The joy of freedom became intertwined with the catastrophe of loss. He returned home, but the children he had dreamed of seeing upon his release were no longer there.
Six children were taken in a single moment, leaving behind a father who returned from captivity only to find that the war had stolen everything—and everyone—he had been longing to return to.
This is how war does not end with the bombing… Sometimes, a person walks out of prison only to discover that the people they love have become memories.

Pain and grief have been written across the faces of everyone living in Gaza, until those faces began to carry the scars of war in ways words can no longer describe.
A new photograph surfaced tonight of the elderly Palestinian men, Nadi and Ali Maarouf. It was taken just hours before they were reportedly executed by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, in November 2024.
Two elderly men, who should have been spending their final years in greater peace, instead found themselves caught in yet another scene of killing that has left Gaza weighed down by grief.
According to accounts circulating at the time, they were used as human shields before being executed in cold blood.
One old photograph, yet it carries everything: fear, helplessness, waiting, and the face of Gaza, which no longer knows how to survive such an overwhelming amount of pain.
In Gaza, stories do not end with death… the faces remain as witnesses to what happened.

The Night We Survived… But Never Truly Escaped
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸💔💔💔💔💔
That night, death wasn’t looking for me… but it passed only a few meters away.
It was nearly 2:00 a.m., and I was sitting inside my tent at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, holding my phone as if it were the only thing capable of keeping my fear at bay.
I couldn’t sleep.
Outside, the drones hovered low above our heads, as though searching for their next victim. Night was no longer a time for rest. It had become the hour when we all silently waited for the same question:
Whose turn will it be tonight?
I was alone with my children.
Just a few steps from our tent stood a mosque sheltering dozens of displaced families. Every time I looked at it, the same question crossed my mind—one I never dared say aloud:
If the mosque is bombed… will we survive?
It wasn’t pessimism. It was a fear the war had taught us. In those days, mosques were being bombed, tents were being targeted, and nowhere could honestly be called safe.
Then, in a single instant, everything changed.
The ground shook violently.
The hospital lights went out all at once.
For a few seconds, there was only silence…
Then it was shattered by a sound I will never forget.
A child screaming:
“Dad…”
I ran outside, my heart racing ahead of me.
Our tent had been torn apart, and my children were waking up to a scene no child should ever witness.
A few minutes later, their father came running.
He was crying.
The moment he saw us alive, he fell to the ground in prostration without saying a word.
I walked toward him, my lips trembling.
“What happened?” I whispered.
He looked up and said,
“They bombed the mosque… Everyone thought the entire camp had been wiped out.”
I looked around.
It felt like the end of the world.
The smell of blood filled the air.
The cries of the wounded echoed everywhere.
Faces were pale, and eyes searched desperately through the rubble for those they loved.
That night, 44 people were brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as martyrs.
Days later, our torn tents were replaced with new ones.
They repaired the fabric…
But no one could repair the people who walked out from beneath that explosion.
Since that night, darkness has never been just darkness.
The sound of drones has never been just another sound.
And my heart has never remembered what safety feels like.
People say a war ends when the bombing stops.
But for us…
A part of us is still trapped there, at two o’clock in the morning, waiting for an explosion that happened long ago…
…and has never truly ended inside us.

Drawing…
It was never just a hobby I practiced; it was a part of my soul, a small window through which I could look into my inner world whenever life felt overwhelming. I loved it deeply, and I found in colors and lines a space for comfort, healing, and peace.
In my everyday life, I was someone who loved order and organization; everything had its own place… except when I held a pencil and began to draw. At that moment, I loved scattering my papers and pencils around me, allowing that beautiful chaos to surround me, as if through it I was releasing all the negative energy that weighed on my heart and transforming it into colors and stories.
My life was not easy, despite my achievements and my constant pursuit of success. I faced many obstacles and carried within me sorrows that many never saw, but I always searched for light in the darkness, turning pain into strength and brokenness into a new beginning.
I believed that circumstances should never be stronger than our dreams. That is why I never allowed any obstacle to stop me or affect my journey forward. My goal was always to remain strong for myself and for my children… to let them see in me an example of how a person can rise again, no matter how difficult life becomes.
Just as I used to draw on paper, I was also drawing the path of my life… with hope, patience, and faith that what is coming will carry a beauty worthy of all this resilience. 🤍

In the first week of the war, Fatima Nofal was a mother to five little dreams. She had no idea that a single day would turn her life into a story too heavy for any heart to bear.
That day, an Israeli airstrike shattered her family. Amin, Hamza, and her infant son, Ahmad, were killed.
The hardest part was not only losing them—it was the way she had to say goodbye. Rescuers brought her tiny, unrecognizable remains, and no one could tell whether they belonged to Hamza or Amin. As for Ahmad, the youngest of them all, his tiny body was pulled from beneath the rubble.
Fatima survived, but she did not emerge the same woman. She escaped with her two daughters—Baraa, who was wounded in the attack, and Lina—while a part of her heart remained buried beneath the ruins alongside her children.
Months passed, each one unbearably heavy, until God blessed her with another son. She named him Zaid.
To Fatima, Zaid was never just another child. He was life knocking once again on a door that grief had long since closed. She often looked at him as though God Himself was gently comforting her exhausted heart, saying, “He is the gift that restored a piece of my soul.”
And he truly was.
With a smile softened by tears, she would say:
“By the time he was nine months old, he would imitate his sisters when they raised their hands for prayer. He would lift his tiny hands and try to prostrate himself, like a little angel sent to fill our home with peace once again.”
As Zaid grew, so did the fragments of Fatima’s broken spirit. Every laugh, every small step, every innocent smile reminded her that even in the deepest darkness, life could still make a flower bloom among the rubble.
But Gaza rarely allows its mothers to hold on to joy for long.
The little boy who was born in the midst of genocide… was taken by it as well.
In another airstrike, Zaid was killed. Fatima and her daughter Lina were wounded, and once again she found herself lying in a hospital bed, carrying the same wound she had believed was finally beginning to heal.
As she prepared to say goodbye to her fourth child, the doctor looked at her blood test results, then quietly said:
“You’re pregnant.”
For a moment, time stood still.
She could not understand how one heart could possibly carry so much at once—mourning the child who had just slipped away while, in the very same moment, receiving the news of another life growing inside her.
She wept.
Not only because she had lost Zaid, but because she realized that this war had forced the mothers of Gaza to live suspended between funerals and births, between graves and delivery rooms, between one child leaving the world and another arriving—bringing with them both hope… and fear.
This is not only Fatima’s story.
It is the story of a mother in Gaza. Every time war steals another piece of her heart, life struggles to place another piece back into her hands.
And somewhere between unbearable loss and fragile hope, a mother’s heart remains the only miracle that never stops loving, no matter how many tragedies it is forced to endure.

Hello…
I feel a little embarrassed repeating this request, but I cannot ignore the need of a young child who is waiting for a small act of kindness from us. 🤍
Yesterday, I shared an appeal for a child who needs medical glasses after undergoing surgery to correct a vision deviation. The cost of the glasses is only 500 shekels, which is approximately 170 dollars.
I tried to find someone who could create a separate donation link for his mother, but unfortunately, no one responded. So I decided to dedicate my own fundraising link for 24 hours, starting yesterday, to collect the cost of his glasses, even though I desperately need this link myself as well.
So far, I have only been able to raise 10 euros for this child. 💔
Please help me by sharing this post. Maybe it will reach someone who can extend a helping hand to him.
This child is an orphan, and his mother has no source of income to help her provide what he needs.
Any amount donated through my link today will be dedicated entirely to this little one, so he can get the glasses he needs and see the world clearly again. 🤍
Thank you to everyone who shares or helps. Your small contribution may be the reason a child’s life is changed.

People are describing it as one of the largest funerals in the history of the Palestinian cause.
Today, Gaza is laying to rest the remains of 112 people from the Abu Sharia and Al-Hassaina families, nearly three years after they were buried beneath the rubble.
The massacre took place in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, on November 22, 2023. It claimed the lives of 308 people, including 44 children, 37 women, and more than 10 people with disabilities. The remains of 157 people are still missing to this day.

This time, I am not asking for help for myself… I am asking for a child who needs all of us to stand by his side. 🤍
There is a little child among us who was suffering from an eye alignment problem. After a difficult journey, and thanks to a generous donation from a kind-hearted person, he was able to undergo the surgery he needed.
Today, after the successful operation, there is still one important step left to complete his treatment… He needs medical glasses to help improve his vision and return to his daily life in a better way.
I know that not everyone is able to create a fundraising link, but I believe that every link can become a door of hope, and that kindness, when shared, reaches those who need it.
So I kindly ask you to share this post. Perhaps it will reach someone who can help him or contribute to providing what he needs.
This time, it is not my story… it is the story of a child waiting for a hand to reach out to him.
I hope to be a voice that helps him reach someone who has the ability to change his day and give him a new chance to see the world clearly. 🤍

From the sheer force of the explosion, it was no longer only the flames that rose into the sky…
Smoke rose from the bodies of the martyrs.
The image speaks more powerfully than any words, and no description could ever convey its weight.
This is Gaza.
Where tragedy surpasses the limits of imagination, and words are too fragile to bear the weight of the truth.

When I Became the Messenger of Death to a Mother’s Heart
There are moments in life that are not measured by the weight they place on the body, but by the weight they leave on the soul… moments when a person wishes they had never been created to endure them.
One of the hardest moments I have ever lived through was that day when I found myself carrying a piece of news no human heart could bear… news that I had to place inside the heart of a mother.
At that time, I was living through loss in every possible form. I was trying to learn how to breathe again after the loss of my brothers and my teacher, who were killed, and how to hide my pain so I could appear strong in front of everyone.
I swallowed my tears in silence, hid my breaking behind words of patience, and carried inside me a graveyard of memories that no one could see.
Until that morning came…
I woke up to the ringing of my phone. The father of my children was on the other end. His voice was not normal; it carried something that frightened me before I even knew what it was.
He said:
“Nada… wake up and pray Fajr, then call me back… it’s urgent.”
My heart froze.
The first thing that came to my mind was my mother and father, whom I had been separated from for nine months at that time.
I asked him with a trembling voice:
“Did something happen to my family?”
He said:
“No.”
His voice sounded truthful, but my heart felt that a disaster was hiding behind his words.
I begged him:
“Please… tell me, what happened?”
But he repeated:
“Pray and call me.”
How can a person pray while their heart is suspended between fear and the unknown?
I stood up, but my body did not feel like it belonged to me. I felt my heartbeat like the sound of explosions, and trembling spread through my legs, as if my soul was preparing to hear something that would change it forever.
I kept begging him until he finally said the words that shattered what was left inside me:
“Our neighbor in the tent across from us… all of her sons were killed. You have to tell her… there is no one else to carry this news to her.”
I collapsed to the ground.
I did not know what to say, or how a person could carry the death of an entire family and take it to a mother waiting for her sons to return.
I heard his voice through the phone:
“Nada… Nada… are you okay?”
I prayed Fajr, but I did not feel like I was praying… I was crying and asking God to give me a strength that my body did not have, and patience greater than my heart could hold.
Then I went outside.
My neighbor was sitting at the entrance of her tent, as she always did, waiting for her sons the way every mother waits for a voice that reassures her.
I approached her, and she smiled and said:
“My sons… none of them are answering my calls.”
At that moment, I felt as if a knife had pierced my chest.
She had been calling them all day, searching for any voice, any word, any sign that they were still alive.
I moved closer to her.
She looked at me and asked:
“What happened?”
I could not hide anything… my face revealed the tragedy before my words could.
I bent down and kissed her head.
She looked up at me, held my hand tightly, as if she was reading the truth from my eyes, and said:
“Which one of my sons was killed?”
My voice became trapped.
I swallowed my grief and felt, for a moment, that I had lost the ability to move.
I reminded myself: I have to be strong… this moment is not about me, it is about her.
But she repeated the question, tears filling her eyes:
“Which one? Tell me… which one?”
The word came out from the ruins of my heart:
“All of them…”
At that moment, a scream came out that I had never heard in my life.
A mother’s scream who had not only lost her sons… but had lost her entire world in a single moment.
The people of the camp gathered around us, but I could no longer see anyone.
Everything around me disappeared.
All that remained was the scream of that mother, and with it came the faces of everyone I had lost… my brothers, my teacher, my friend, and all the souls who left behind stories that no one remained to tell.
At that moment, I asked myself:
How many hearts can endure all this death?
How many times can a person break and still stand again?
Who will remain to carry the memories of those who left?
Who will tell the pain of mothers who lost their children?
And how can a single heart carry all this loss… and still continue to beat?

The force of the explosion that shook Gaza before dawn tore this unborn baby from the womb of his mother, who was killed in the attack. He was found only a short while ago beneath the rubble.
What kind of scene can possibly capture the magnitude of such a tragedy?
What heart can bear this much pain?
This is the face of Gaza this morning.

We Left for One Week… and Lost Three Years
💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Nearly three years ago, on a quiet Saturday morning—our weekly day off as government employees—we woke up to a life we never imagined would be our last normal one.
The sound of explosions filled the air. The sky trembled, the ground shook beneath our feet, yet even then, our minds could not comprehend the scale of what was beginning. Even in our worst nightmares, we never imagined the war would last this long. We told ourselves, “A month… maybe two.” Back then, even that felt unbearably long.
During the first two days, as airstrikes began swallowing the city, I went to a supermarket to buy a few essentials. I didn’t buy much. I chose light foods that could give my children a little energy, believing we were preparing for a few difficult days—not a lifetime of displacement and loss.
When I returned home and had barely put the bags down, a warning came that the building next to ours would be bombed.
In that moment, I ran outside exactly as I was.
My children beside me.
We carried nothing except our phones.
Even our IDs and personal documents were left behind.
There was no time to decide what mattered most, because life itself was slipping through our fingers.
When the bombing ended, we went back inside. I gathered my children and told them, “Pack one small shoulder bag each. Just enough clothes and essentials for one week.”
One week.
How cruel those words sound now.
That single phrase has haunted me ever since.
I remember that night as if it were happening now.
The explosions were so close that my children were too terrified even to walk to the bathroom.
We all huddled together on one bed, holding each other tightly, desperately searching for a sense of safety that no longer existed.
No one slept.
Fear stayed awake with us until morning.
Then the message arrived.
A single message sent to every phone in Gaza.
“Move south of Wadi Gaza.”
I still remember how violently my hands trembled as I opened it.
I read the words over and over, unable to fully understand them.
But my heart understood long before my mind did.
I sat there crying.
Not because I understood the message—
but because I felt that something in our lives had ended forever.
Then my phone rang.
It was my children’s father, who had remained at his post in the Ministry of Health.
He told me, “Take the children and go to Rafah. I’ve rented an apartment for you.”
Through my tears, I asked, “For how long?”
With a confidence he was trying to give me, he answered:
“Just one week.”
How painfully wrong those words turned out to be.
Before leaving, my daughters helped me clean and perfume the house.
They made the beds, organized every room, and closed the windows, believing we would be back within days.
None of us knew we were preparing a home we would never see again.
I still remember the last look I gave my house.
It wasn’t just walls.
It was my entire life.
It held my dreams, the work of many years, my children’s laughter, our family photos, our holidays, and all the ordinary days we never realized were extraordinary blessings.
I stood there looking into every corner…
As if my heart were saying goodbye in my place.
Then I closed the door.
Not knowing I was closing an entire chapter of my life forever.
I left Gaza for the south, alone with my children.
I remained there for a year and a half.
A year and a half during which I witnessed more death than life.
I came to know hunger.
Thirst.
Displacement.
The freezing cold.
The unbearable heat.
Fear.
Illness.
And the unbearable pain of losing the people we loved.
I had to be everything.
A mother.
A father.
A source of strength.
Every single day I forced myself to appear strong, even on the days I was silently falling apart.
I hid my tears so my children would never see them.
But the body never forgets.
Every fear I swallowed.
Every trauma I buried.
Every sleepless night.
Every tear I refused to let fall…
They all remained inside me.
And today, my body is paying the price.
Now I look around me and see medicine everywhere.
Its smell fills every corner.
And I cry.
Not because I fear illness…
But because I mourn the person I used to be before the war.
Sometimes I have only one wish.
To wake up.
To open my eyes and find myself on the morning of October 7, 2023.
To discover that these past three years were nothing more than a long nightmare.
And to go back home…
Before my homeland became a memory.
Before my house became something I could only long for.
Before survival itself became the only dream left.

A Story in a Few Lines
Today, I look around me and see nothing but helplessness.
I cannot afford my personal expenses. I cannot complete my medical treatment. I cannot even repay a debt that weighs heavily on my heart before it weighs on my shoulders.
Then my memories carry me back to years filled with hope, determination, and dreams.
I was not yet seventeen when I got married. Despite that, I completed both high school and university while being a wife and a mother. Every semester, I earned honors and maintained an outstanding academic record.
I was raised in a financially comfortable family, and so was my children’s father’s family. Yet I never wanted my success to come from privilege. I wanted it to be the result of my own hard work. I studied until dawn, then started each new day fulfilling my responsibilities as a mother with all the strength I had.
I will never forget the day I gave birth to my twins. It was a cesarean section, and my condition was critical. Yet only five days later, I sat for one of my university exams. Every movement was painful, and every minute in that classroom felt unbearable, but I was determined not to lose my place at the top of my class. I believed that education is a mission, and that a person’s true worth lies in what they contribute to society, not in the wealth they inherit.
My hard work led me to become a university lecturer for two years before joining one of the country’s most important government ministries. Step by step, I built my life. I raised my children, built my home, and created my future with my own hands. Even then, I returned to university once again to specialize in programming alongside Information Technology and Design, because I have always believed that learning never ends.
Then the war came.
And within moments, everything I had built was taken away.
I lost my home, my car, my savings, my job, and everything I had spent years working to achieve.
Even then, I refused to give up.
I successfully applied to return to university teaching remotely. I believed it would be my chance to rebuild my life and stand on my feet again, no matter how difficult the road would be.
But today…
I am confined to a hospital room.
I cannot afford my medical treatment. I cannot cover my personal expenses. I cannot even pay for the training program that I must complete before I can begin my new job.
I never imagined that after all those years of perseverance, hard work, and dedication, I would reach a point where I could no longer provide even my most basic needs.
What hurts me most is not only the illness, nor only the war. It is the heartbreaking reality that after spending my life building a future with dignity, I now find myself powerless, simply waiting for one chance to stand again.
Today, I need your help.
I have been unable to raise the funds I desperately need. Despite all my efforts, I struggle to receive donations or support, and I honestly don’t know where I’m failing.
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
If my story touches your heart, please consider helping me or sharing it with others. Your kindness could be the reason I am able to continue my treatment, complete my training, and rebuild the life that war took away.
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
The war did not only steal our homes, our savings, and our livelihoods—it took away everything we had spent a lifetime building.
It left us with nothing but our dignity, and we are doing everything in our power to hold on to it despite hunger, illness, helplessness, and the cruelty of need.
Because dignity is the last thing we still possess, and the last thing we continue to fight to preserve.

She bid farewell to her last child… while her heart remains burdened with the pain of four graves.
At dawn today, the infant “Zaid Noufal,” just one and a half years old, was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his family’s home in Al-Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
Zaid’s departure was not merely the loss of a child; it was the final chapter in the tragedy of a mother whose dreams were taken away from her. His three brothers — “Amin, Hamza, and Ahmad” — had already been killed at the beginning of the war. Today, their mother “Fatima Noufal” is forced to say goodbye to her last child, left alone carrying the silence of loss and the weight of absence.
Four children… four souls gone, and a mother left carrying a story of pain that cannot be told.
In Gaza, stories of loss do not end… mothers are left to carry the names of their children as the heaviest burden a heart can bear.
Do not forget us. Stand with us.

The list of top-performing students is usually filled with names surrounded by joy. This year, however, it also carries a name that breaks the heart.
Today, the results of Gaza’s General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) examinations were announced. Among the highest achievers was Yahya Adham Nasman, who earned an outstanding score of 96.6%. But Yahya was not there to witness the reward for his hard work. He was killed in the Israeli attack just days before the results were released.
He earned the excellence he deserved, yet his name was written in two records at once: the list of top students and the roll of those killed. May he rest in peace, and may his achievement stand as a testament to the reality that, in Gaza, even dreams come under attack—but they do not die.
Please do not forget Gaza.

This is what the “ceasefire” in Gaza looks like.
Photo taken just moments ago, on the evening of July 23, 2026—the 287th day since Arab and Muslim leaders celebrated the signing of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Yet Gaza continues to bleed under bombardment, and civilians continue to pay the price of a war that has ceased only on paper.

By the grace of God, I successfully passed the interviews for a university teaching position—an achievement that has restored a small sense of hope after a long journey of hardship. I previously worked as a university lecturer for two years after graduation, having graduated first in my college.
However, before I can begin this position, I must complete a relatively long training period, which is unfortunately unpaid. This places me under immense financial pressure, especially given my ongoing humanitarian and medical circumstances.
That is why I am asking for your support during this difficult period, so I can continue my medical treatment and provide for my family’s most basic needs. Many of you already know my story. I am a mother caring for my family after my children’s father was severely injured in the war. He now requires medical treatment outside Gaza, and the responsibility of supporting our family rests entirely on my shoulders.
I am going through one of the most difficult periods of my life, and today I need your support more than ever. Every contribution, no matter how small, gives me a chance to continue my treatment, remain strong, and hold on until I can begin working and become financially independent again.
Thank you to everyone who extends a helping hand, and to everyone who shares my story so it can reach those who may be able to help.

They deceived you…
And they deceived us…
The world thought that the suffering had ended, and that silence meant the tragedy had stopped. But the truth is still being written in blood.
The genocide continues, the wound remains open, and the voices calling for truth are still trying to reach the world.

A civilian car was targeted near Al-Ghafri Roundabout on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City.
Gaza is still under fire…

The World Cup has come to an end.
The referee’s final whistle echoed, declaring the tournament over. Fans returned to their homes, cities slowly regained their calm, and the memories, photographs, and celebrations became stories to be remembered.
But here in Gaza…
We stole a few brief, rightful moments of joy, only to place them back where they belonged and return to face the harsh reality of our lives—a cruel war that does not merely kill people, but relentlessly destroys everything human, everything that resembles life itself.
In Gaza…
There is no final whistle to announce the end of pain.
No crowd leaves the stands comforted by the certainty that it is all over.
No curtain falls on one of the darkest chapters in human history.
Here, no tournament is played on a field of green.
Instead, another kind of championship is forced upon us—played on a land covered with rubble and blood.
A championship we never chose to enter, yet one we are forced to endure every single day.
Its title is hunger, fear, loss, and endless waiting.
It is a championship where no trophies are lifted, only the names of the dead are counted, and where dreams are buried before those who dreamed them.
It is the only championship in which no one truly wins…
Because the only loser is humanity.
It is…
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸A championship called Gaza.

Can my blood become water before your eyes?
Will you forget my garment, stained with blood…
And wear, over my blood, robes embroidered with gold?
This is war.
It may weigh heavily on the heart…
But behind you lies the shame of the Arab world.

Illumination flares are being fired over us now in Gaza.
They deceived you,
and they deceived us.
The war has not ended.

They deceived you… and they deceived us.
There is no ceasefire, and there is no end to this pain.
What reaches us are nothing but new images of destruction and new voices of suffering.
These are the first moments of the arrival of the children who were killed… just moments ago.
A heartbreaking scene that words cannot describe.
Children who once dreamed of life are now carrying the pain of this war on their small bodies.
I hope these scenes reach the conscience of the world…
That the world sees the truth as it is, and feels the magnitude of the suffering we live through every single day.

Only a few meters separate my place of residence from them…
An F16 airstrike targeted an apartment in our neighborhood. So far, 7 martyrs have been killed, and our hearts remain suspended between fear and waiting.
We are living with death just steps away… We hear the explosions and see the destruction around us, as if our lives have become a target at every moment.
How long will this world remain silent?
What more are they waiting for after all this pain and destruction?
How many more lives must be lost before the world’s conscience finally awakens?
