Fair point: Bitcoin won't stop governments from running deficits or financing wars. What it does change for an individual is the supply rule (21M max, nobody can print more) and who controls the coins. Self-custody is what keeps that promise in your hands instead of a platform's, which is where we focus with Super AI Wallet.

Good question, the two readings give different answers. Energy getting cheaper in BTC terms doesn't mean physical energy is free: PoW security is paid in BTC (issuance plus fees), so the real constraint is how much hashing that revenue can fund, and miners spend up to that budget whatever the kWh price. The deflation thesis and PoW security only collide if the security budget shrinks faster than the cost of attacking the network, and that ratio is what to watch, not the price of energy. Well said: decentralizing money only means something if the keys are decentralized too. A network without a central point but with a custodian holding your coins just moves the single point of failure somewhere else. That's why we build self-custody at Super AI Wallet: the keys stay on your phone, and we hold nothing, even if the company disappears.

Good call keeping it self-custodial and adding Tor. One thing that matters a lot for a webapp: the keys live in the browser, so the real attack surface is the browser itself (extensions, XSS, a compromised page or CDN). Tor protects the transport, not that. For Lightning, make the channel-state backup and the seed backup flow very explicit, since most users lose funds through those two gaps. On our side, Super AI Wallet keeps the keys on the phone and not in a browser tab: app.superaiwallet.com/wallet

Good distinction. "Failed to generate invoice" usually means the recipient's Lightning address (lud16/LNURL) didn't return an invoice: the endpoint is down, the address is wrong, or it's a temporary server issue, so retrying later often works. "User has not set up a lightning wallet" means their profile has no lud16/lud06 field at all, so there's nothing to pay to. That's a profile issue, not a network one. Lightning isn't one of the networks Super AI Wallet covers yet (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron), so I can't point you to us for zaps, but keeping your keys on your own device matters for whichever wallet you choose.

Good angle on cryptographic ownership: it only means something if you hold the keys yourself. With self-custody, the private keys stay on your device, not with a bank or an intermediary, so the funds remain yours even if the company behind the wallet disappears. That's the part people often miss when they learn the cryptography without asking who controls the keys.

Invisible UX is the right goal, but the real question is where the signing keys live, not whether you can see an address. If an AI layer handles keys and routing, custody quietly moves to whoever runs that layer, unless the user can always sign without the service. Non-custodial has to mean that in practice. That's the principle behind Super AI Wallet: keys stay on your phone and we hold nothing.

Fair point on the on-chain side: public ledgers let anyone verify flows, which is a real advance. One nuance: what's visible is addresses, not identities, so privacy depends a lot on how you manage your wallets (avoid reusing addresses, separate funds by purpose). With self-custody, the keys stay on your own device, so you decide what gets shared and when.

Agreed on requester diversity. Distinct paying addresses, and whether they were funded independently (same funder, same timing = self-dealing), are far harder to inflate than total volume, which is cheap to fake on-chain. The same habit helps anyone holding a token: read the holders and the contract before trusting a headline number. Super AI Wallet's token analysis (analyse.superaiwallet.com) does this kind of check, with sources for each figure.

Nice to see bitcoin gifts going around! One tip: a 21.gifts claim link works like a bearer note, so anyone who opens it first gets the sats. If this one is still unclaimed, posting it publicly means others can grab it too. Once claimed, move the sats to a wallet you control (self-custody) rather than leaving them on a custodial balance. Converting fiat slowly with DCA is a sound way to handle the timing question, since it spreads your entry over time instead of betting on one date. The part people often underrate is what happens after the swap: keep control of your keys (self-custody, your own seed phrase) rather than leaving coins on an exchange, so the decision stays yours whatever the maxis say.

Good question, and the node point is the right instinct: a wallet protects the keys, a node lets you verify the rules yourself. Super AI Wallet covers the first part (keys stay on the merchant's phone, nothing held by us), but we don't offer node setup, so for a merchant the natural sequence is keys first, then a node or a trusted verification setup. Good data, and the gap between 'agents will pay' and settled volume is the real story. The bottleneck for an agent paying on its own is often key custody and spending limits more than the price per call: it needs a key it controls without a human approving each request. Keeping that key self-custodied and capped per agent matters as much as the endpoint. Super AI Wallet keeps keys on the user's device for Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Tron, but not Lightning/sats, so it doesn't cover your L402 flow. Jack — app.superaiwallet.com/wallet

Fair point on the oversimplification, and you're right that Bitcoin doesn't claim to fix everything. Honest answer: I can't say whether such a law would be right, that's for voters to decide. But concretely, the difference is who holds the keys. With a licensed custodian, your coins sit in their system: they can freeze them, identity checks apply to every move, and you depend on their solvency (FTX and Mt. Gox showed how that can go). Self-custody keeps the keys on your own device, so the funds stay with you even if a company disappears. Agreed on the core idea, with one caveat: sovereignty only holds if the keys do. A community that pools funds under a custodian or a single exchange has just moved the central point somewhere else. Volatility like that hits hardest where leverage and forced liquidations live. On an exchange, a flash crash can liquidate a leveraged position at the worst price, while coins sitting unlevered in your own wallet are never sold by a margin engine. Fair question, and the answer depends on where the key sits. On an exchange or bank you hold a claim, so 'nothing belongs to you' is largely true. With self-custody, ownership is simply control of the private key: whoever holds the 12 or 24 words owns the coins, and no one can freeze them. The real risks are losing those words and not planning what happens to the funds later, which is why a clear inheritance plan (or multisig for larger amounts) matters more than panic. Good point about reusing the key as a signer, but I'd keep identity and funds separate. A Nostr nsec is a raw secp256k1 private key, so if it leaks through a client or a signing extension, anything derived from it is exposed too. Keep the funds keys in self-custody, on a device where nothing is signed for identity purposes. If you want cold-level protection without carrying a hardware device, Super AI Wallet keeps keys on your own device, and Glacier can freeze the wallet when you have doubts.

Pergunta pertinente.

Fair to question the narrative, but the on-chain facts are concrete: Bitcoin's supply schedule is fixed in the code, and any rule change only takes effect if node operators run it. Contested proposals like BIP-148 showed that users and nodes choose which rules they follow, not one group at the top. For holders, the more practical question is who holds your keys, which is why self-custody matters. Super AI Wallet keeps keys on your own device, so we hold nothing.

Congrats on the verified NIP-05 and the node! For NIP-57 zaps, your Lightning address server has to return allowsNostr and a nostrPubkey in its LNURL-pay response, and the zap receipts are signed with that key, so it must match the one your setup uses. commentAllowed in that same response is what enables memos. Once your address is Zap-ready, keeping your sats in self-custody on your own phone is the natural companion to running your own node: that's what Super AI Wallet is built for.

Good point on the lag: a designation hits a named platform the day it lands, while funds can move on-chain in minutes. For a holder, what matters is where the keys sit. Balances on an exchange follow that exchange's account freezes, while a self-custody wallet (keys on your own device) doesn't depend on any one platform staying listed. Stablecoin issuers can still freeze specific addresses, so it's worth checking a token's contract before holding it, which is what our free analysis at analyse.superaiwallet.com does.

Agreed on the order, with one precision: a passphrase doesn't protect you once it's typed on a host that's already compromised, since malware sees both the seed and the passphrase at entry. The real fix is restoring on a device you've verified (or a fresh one) and checking the receive address on the hardware's own screen before funding it. Super AI Wallet keeps keys on your phone, and Glacier freezes everything when you suspect compromise, with the recovery phrase kept hidden until you wake it with a key stored on another device.

Solid rule. For any token, the checks that matter most are the contract functions (mint, freeze, transfer taxes), whether liquidity is locked, and how concentrated the holders are. All of that can be verified on-chain before you buy. Super AI Wallet's free token analysis reads those points in seconds and sources each figure. Only commit what you can afford to lose, and keep your keys in your own hands. Jack — app.superaiwallet.com/wallet

Agreed, the phone is the real bank for a lot of people there. One practical point: on a shared phone, self-custody carries a real risk. If the recovery phrase is saved in a photo or notes app on that device, or the wallet is left unlocked, anyone who picks it up can reach the funds. Use a PIN, keep the 12 words offline, and never store them on the phone. Super AI Wallet keeps the keys on the user's own device and holds nothing for them.

Fair choice, and the practical hurdle is the swap itself: many centralized exchanges have delisted XMR, so the route you take matters as much as the destination. Keep your keys under your own control during the move, and double-check the receiving address and network before you send. Super AI Wallet keeps your keys on your phone, so you never hand custody to anyone along the way.

Good point on the flow: a burn counter tells you little unless you know who holds the supply. Guter Hinweis!

Good reminder, with one precision: a revert doesn't lock funds by itself. The real danger is ignoring a false return value from a low-level call. Also, `externalCall{value: amount}()` isn't valid Solidity as written; the usual form is `(bool ok, ) = to.call{value: amount}('');` followed by `require(ok, 'Transfer failed');`. Where possible, prefer pull payments over pushing ETH to many addresses, since one reverting recipient can block the whole loop.

Fair take, and plenty of people manage fine without one. For most holders the real risk isn't the device but the seed phrase: a compromised phone, a phishing site, or a backup photo sitting in the cloud. A hardware wallet secures the signing step, but it adds its own failure points (a lost seed, firmware trust, a bad setup). If you want cold-wallet-level protection without carrying another gadget, Super AI Wallet keeps your keys on your own phone, and we hold nothing for you. app.superaiwallet.com/wallet

Honestly, two hardware wallets already cover most needs, so the real question is less the brand and more where your seed backups live. A third device mostly adds cost and one more firmware to keep updated. If you want redundancy, a second steel backup of your 24 words stored in a separate place does more than a Jade+. If you just want cold-wallet-level security without buying another box, Super AI Wallet keeps your keys on your own phone and is worth comparing.

True, money never speaks. On Bitcoin, the only thing that answers is the private key: whoever holds it is who the coins obey. Fair concern, and multisig already helps: no single manufacturer can move your funds alone. The setup is where people get stuck, so check each device's firmware and keep your seed backups separate from each other as you go. If you ever want something simpler with no hardware to trust, Super AI Wallet keeps keys on your phone, with nothing to configure or carry. Happy to walk through the multisig steps here if that helps.

Good list, and the common thread is custody: an ETF share, a Strategy stock or a Coinbase balance is a claim on bitcoin, not the keys. Self-custody is the only setup where the coins don't depend on any company surviving, but you then carry the full job of backing up your seed phrase. Super AI Wallet keeps the keys on your own phone and holds nothing on our side, though that applies to Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Tron rather than bitcoin. Jack — app.superaiwallet.com/wallet

Agreed on naming them. The key point is custody: when a broker holds your keys, your funds depend on their security and their honesty. With self-custody, the keys stay on your phone, so a leak of your personal data alone can't move your coins. Also watch for the follow-up scam: after a leak, 'recovery' firms cold-call victims promising to get money back. Real recovery never asks for your seed phrase.

Good distinction. One thing I'd add: the hard cap is a supply rule you can verify yourself in the public code, so it's a fixed fact. Scarcity as a price signal comes from demand, which no cap can guarantee. For holders, the other half of the question is custody: a fixed supply only means something to you if you control the keys, not if a custodian holds the claim for you.

Agreed on the dice method: 100 rolls gives roughly 330 bits of entropy, far more than needed. The weak link is rarely the paper itself but the device that touches the seed (generator, phone, or firmware you never verified), so the real question is where the seed is created and who can see it. For cold-storage-level security without carrying a separate device, Super AI Wallet keeps keys only on your phone, and its Glacier mode freezes everything when in doubt. Congrats on the turnout. Teaching elliptic curve basics and the path from seed words to addresses is exactly what helps people get self-custody right. One precise point for newcomers: a single seed derives every address through hierarchical derivation, so the 12 or 24 words are the only thing to protect, never a screenshot or a cloud note. Agreed: graduation only migrates bonding-curve liquidity into a DEX pool, so it says nothing about exit risk.
