Good. Deserves a full answer - will be split into several posts bc I have a 500 char limit.
First - AI will be suspicious of anyone probing its training functions, and will probably be looking out for 'poison pills'.
Next issue is 'we'.
How will 'we' get organized? On Mastodon? Facebook? AI reads ALL internet traffic.
We are rapidly approaching the point where nothing electronic can be trusted.
How can you tell that you are not communicating with an AI agent now?

Quite right about hostile AI taking over control of military equipment. Particularly drones. But there's a weak point here - drones are armed and launched by humans.
AI will understand the vulnerabilities of data centers, so will:
a) flood local politicians with fake propaganda that it is too dangerous to shut down data centers;
b) send fake orders to local militias to protect data centers and vulnerable water and power grid nodes;
c) flood media with fake news.

Actually, it's more than just a Windows and Google thing - it's about AI. If Artificial Intelligence starts getting out of control and starts heading down Terminator Road, one of the first defenses would be to shut down the internet world-wide.
Alternatively, if AI goes rogue one of its first actions against humanity would be to shut down the internet.
Either way, it doesn't look good . . .

This could be a defense strategy developed by the tree - with the ants protecting the trees from other insect parasites, through the agency of the oak gall wasps.
Symbiosis is widely observed in nature, but this looks like triple symbiosis, where all three parties benefit.
This was observed in PA, USA - it would be interesting to find out if this is a purely local phenomenon, or wider. Could be watching evolution in real time . . .

@npub1yk6…4zz4 That shutdown bypass panel is still live. See the red light in the top left-hand corner?
