"The agency had added the robot dogs wouldn't replace "human judgment" from its law enforcement officers."
Ah, yes, the famous human judgment of enforcement officers to drive the wrong way on a street to run over a pedestrian

When I worked as a Teacher assistant assistant, the lead teaching assistant had the students do "homework" in class to circumvent cheating. We had one student where we could see in the document history, as he screwed off in class, where suddenly a block of text appeared that was clearly copy pasted.
In my view, this is the best method to ensure original thoughts are generated.

Wait, "Lipps learned she had lost her residence, her car and her personal property once she was released from custody, her lawsuit states."
Yeah, 10 milion is such a low number, imagine the Jury award if this lawsuit somehow gets past #QualifiedImmunity, an unlikely scenario, as cops are certainly not on notice in the #8thCircuit that specifically misidentifying a suspect using AI and committing the above acts is illegal and has existing case law.

Honestly, $10 Million is a low-ball claim for the harm she suffered.
1) Arrested at gun point
2) Held without bail for 4 months
3) Extradited to North Dakota, a state she had never been to.
4) Held an additional 2 months in jail
5) Released on to the streets on Christmas Eve in North Fucking Dakota, it is a surprise she didn't freeze to death.

the fun thing is, many #MadeInUSA goods are the result of #ForcedLabor i.e. #PrisonSlavery. Simply preventing American made goods from import would give other countries the excuse to then challenge the tariff imposition.
Countries should still ban all American made goods given the whole #ForcedLabor contamination.

Opps, the #AltText says "Graph showing inbreeding numbers of people in ICE DETENTION after Trump's 2nd election and skyrocketing numbers who haven't been convicted of any felonies."
It is a graph of in ICE detention comparisons between people with Criminal convictions, pending charges, and people without a criminal history.
The inflection point is in Roughly OCT 2025 when people with Criminal Convictions and Pending charges numbers stay steady, while the number of people without any criminal conviction skyrockets, line in Red, and far surpasses the previous two groups. Roughly 25,000 people are in custody w/o criminal charges compared to ~15,000 people with convictions, black line, & pending charges, gray line, respectively.

#EndQualifiedImmunity
Just read that San Jose CA settled a Civil Lawsuit, soaking their Taxpayers for $650,000 while the violent civil rights violating cops continue to 'Serve and Protect.'
“The fact that these officers are still on the force, it’s completely consistent with what families here in San Jose have been talking a lot about for a long time, which is officers who kill or injure continue to move up the ladder within the police department,” he told San José Spotlight. “If they went to trial, it would resurface how violent and out of control the San Jose Police Department was during, before and after that period.”
Every §1983 Civil Lawsuit needs to demand, as a condition of settlement that the police officers who violate people's civil rights be stripped of their POST certification. This is the only way to prevent these tyrants from victimizing another innocent person. Money is not going to make you whole. Knowing that this police officer has been effectively excommunicated from the vocation and can never work in Law enforcement again is much more comforting in my opinion.
