If you live in #LA, and you vote, you should probably consider voting for Nithya Raman. Karen Bass has been criticizing Nithya for being, "soft on homelessness," because she doesn't support violent camp sweeps that Bass has been a huge advocate of, to the point of witholding funding from the fire department in order to give it to police to perform more sweeps, which cost taxpayers as much as $2 million per sweep. Meanwhile the LAFD was left without the ability to fight catastrophic wildfires.

@nprofile…xu0r I think time and dragging things out works against us generally. There is nothing that gets these systems of support built quite like an active crisis. A lot can happen in 2 years and a lot of liberals can go back to brunch in that time. Trump could abolish unions and make all strikes illegal by then. Everybody thinks certain things have to be in place for a strike to happen. If we wait for those things, there will never be a strike. Strike while the iron is hot.

LAPD/LASD is the problem too... Just when you forget, they like to show you again and again and again. ICE is the deputization of the proud boys and 3%ers, but LASD has their own violent street gangs: https://lasd.knock-la.com/ #ACAB #1312

@nprofile…gfcd It's like when they agreed to end the shutdown in return for the promise to think about maybe one day allowing a vote on healthcare subsidies that still hasn't happened... They knew it wasn't going to happen... I don't think they want it to happen... They just want to be able to buy enough plausible deniability that nobody gets it in their head to primary these toadies. They 100% are collaborators. They 100% should be tried when Nuremburg Trials 2.0 start.

Lol... I don't want to be one of the people that didn't do anything... but I am not willing to do anything with a modicum of risk or discomfort to help anybody who is facing serious existential threats. So basically... I want to do nothing, but have it look like I did something for virtue signalling/reasons. JFC.
