If you live in #LA, and you vote, you should probably consider voting for Nithya Raman. Karen Bass has been criticizing Nithya for being, "soft on homelessness," because she doesn't support violent camp sweeps that Bass has been a huge advocate of, to the point of witholding funding from the fire department in order to give it to police to perform more sweeps, which cost taxpayers as much as $2 million per sweep. Meanwhile the LAFD was left without the ability to fight catastrophic wildfires.
