I think it's very nice!
Inspired by @npub1r04…dlsg you could consider adding something like: "We believe the whole eco-system of music producers, developers and society as a whole will benefit from using and supporting Linux, by giving people a real choice in choosing their operation system by values, be it open source, digital sovereignty, sustainability, combating e-waste and more. We show Linux is a viable choice."
Values is common theme in the interviews.

sometimes, mentioning what already works, is an easy way to keep reaching goals :)
And I think it’s clear that the interviews with developers and artists, already help to show that Linux is a viable alternative for professional audio work in general.
These interviews both help smaller devs with visibilty, while also making it easier for artists to see examples of people who chose Linux and why.

I think Amadeus knows this better than me, but is there something to be aware of when installing Audio apps as Flatpak? I believe native plugins are fine, but if you ever want to experiment with Windows plugins through Wine there is something to be aware of.
I know several people are really happy with Mint and you can install a lot of what you need from the build in App Store, so +1!

Personally I use a way slower pc than the studio macbook I'm not using for production anymore. Which is primarily do to using CachyOS' performance optimized kernel and the Millisecond performance tips: https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.github.gaheldev.Millisecond (which is Using https://pypi.org/project/rtcqs/ by @npub1kch…8a3j).
An optimized Wine environment definitely seems within reach!

I have finally reworked my production template to only have Native Linux plugins.
The big changes comes from using DDMFs 6144 EQ on all busses and selected tracks, while the rest still having ZL Equalizer 2.
DDMFs Envelope plugin has taken over both plate and verb duty (always on sends).
New in the template is Shy Audio, where I use their Channel for color EQ and saturation (low latency) and Dynamix/Smack for Compressor duty.

Shy Audio has released native Linux builds for their awesome 90's style plugin line-up, and I was so lucky to get the chance to test the plugins with @npub1p8u…6yqz
Growing up in the 90s, this is the kind of equipment I would have the chance to meet at music schools and local studios, so to me this is the total right period to be inspired by sound-vise in plugins, and I will be using these extensively.
I'll share more later!

I know from my online distributor, the Orchard, that they are working on more clear agreements on the matter, so you as a musician (or label if you as a musician sold your soul already by giving the mechanical rights away), have a say in what your music can be used to.
I have seen similar from Believe. Hopefully, this will eventually make the bad actors consider not scraping. But nothing seems to stop atm to be honest.

It's really awesome, someone from the CachyOS community made a script checking for all the packages, so you easily can see if you should examine further: https://discuss.cachyos.org/t/aur-compromised-400-packages-affected-20260611/31040

It's really interesting to see how electronic music is produced, if you come from a completely different genre yourself.
I started writing songs when I was just a child, and have written far more than 400 songs using a guitar, strumming chords while writing lyrics. It's been my preferred method for years. But writing with guitar/voice like that, sets some clear boundaries of what kind of music you can make. Not that it all becomes singer songwriter, but some music is not driven by lyrics.

what a great interview.
Nice quote really nails it for me: "Proprietary operating systems have been getting worse release by release. Users are fed up with not owning anything, and that is before every OS trying to become "Agentic". The freedom and the sense of choice far outweigh any downsides that the migration may introduce. I have not seen anyone who regretted switching to Linux."

there is a special to these vibe-coded plugins, and you can kind of see it on the plugin description alone. The way it's setup, information is organised and so on. So I had my thougts.
I did install the Windows version through Yabridge, and it sounds fine, I especially like having the chorus'.
We see a lot of these products these days.

I know Bonkwave as an expression once used for describing music which the artist had a hard time defining. When you make music, there rarely is one clear genre, and Bonkwave (or not Bonkwave) became kind of a saying on Fedi some years back and morphed into this great community of people sharing music, making releases and more.
Read more here: https://bonkwave.org/what-is-bonkwave.html

This was such a good experience being part of the #Bonkwave release party. Such a fun and welcoming community, I love how different the tunes are, and how good people are at finding good things to say about the different tunes, to keep the chat fun and also supportive of the artists.
I’ll be back, no doubt!
Thanks to all the great people behind this! I would tag you, but I don’t want to forget someone putting in time and effort to create this nice community. It all matters!

I finally got around to switch from Windows to Linux at work. Here is my Key takeaway so far:
With Windows you’ll have to remove apps, adds and more, to get a useable (kind of) distraction free laptop, and the apps are often invasive in many ways (widgets, start-up proces’ and more).
With #Linux (CachyOS/Gnome) I have to add everything I need - no distractions!
This only, should be the reason for all companies to find a way to move over.

In this guide I look at how (and from where) I'm installing apps and why, the PipeWire packages I install, RT Kernel, Audio Interface, Low Latency (Millisecond) and more.
And the ending just made me so happy (spoiler alert!): "And I can do all this, while taking back control of my own digital life."

I'm back testing Studio One on Linux again, mainly because I remembered someone has to use it and report problems, if Presonus should keep developing the native Linux version.
I use pipewire-jack for Studio One; the latency is higher and I need to open the project, de-select the audio device (Jack) and select it again, for the sound to work.
I have a feeling there is something I don't know about pipewire-jack? What could I miss?
I have installed it from the AUR.

I have had this vision for a long time, understanding how to deliberately shape a sound, but I have to be honest I mostly just go through the presets and start turning knobs.

I could imagine it's hard to find something who will match the flow of your hardware.
I don't know if you have already checked out these linux native options:
Speedrum - https://www.apisonic-audio.com/speedrum2.html
Or
Atlas 2 - https://algonaut.audio/
I have always just used Drum Rack or another DAW software sampler, so I'm not sure what the difference would be if it's hardware specific.
