Regulations and checks on power are needed. US Supreme Court has done similar.
"The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Citizens United in a 5-4 decision, with Justice Anthony Kennedy writing the majority opinion. All Democratic-appointed justices dissented."

If you're saying they provide free things and that's insane, think about who gets bailed out, subsidies, tariff returns, tax advantages, etc.
One preferred group gets a lot more handouts than the other. It's just not seen that way.
Overall, handouts may be bad policy for some, but if it's between giving defense contractors that can't pass an audit handouts vs people, it's an easy choice. 🤙

I think she's a great person, but she will create money if needed. She would try the first things you mentioned but she is not opposed to creating it. Hopefully, there's a change on the progressive left that becomes pro hard money or bitcoin standard.
Recent history has shown the left has balanced budgets better than the right, so using a hard money would be even better.

Creating money is not that...
"Coined by Australian economist Bill Mitchell and popularized recently by Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to fund programs such as the Green New Deal, MMT holds that a country with its own currency can spend almost unlimited sums of money. While government spending is normally financed by either taxes or borrowing, MMT suggests that governments can also do this by simply creating money."

Speaking of not wanting something, the Iran 'not-a-war' situation forced taxes/debt to be spent on something most did not consent to. It's being paid for without consent of the people.

For example, clean air credits going to Musk for EVs, government subsidies from state and federal, and government contracts. If his companies ever get close to failing he'll be bailed out, but you'd go bankrupt and maybe blame an immigrant. Hopefully Bitcoin helps fix this loose money unregulated mess so people can see this injustice, or stops it from existing.

The Great Replacement Theory:
Did you know studies have shown richer countries are more likely to have fewer children, while poorer countries are likely to have more?
If anyone is interested in increasing births of rich countries, one answer is through incentives - raise the standard of life and make it affordable. A second answer is switch roles with a poor country - more children becomes a necessity. The third is through force, like removing birth control, access to abortions, and passing laws that push this agenda. But, you wouldn't force women to do something against their will, would you? 🤨
The other option, stop imperialism/neocolonialism, and stop being the world reserve currency - this may bring balance.

"Initially, the SS authorities marked prisoners who were in the infirmary or who were to be executed with their camp serial number across the chest with indelible ink. As prisoners were executed or died in other ways, their clothing bearing the camp serial number was removed. Given the mortality rate at the camp and practice of removing clothing, there was no way to identify the bodies after the clothing was removed. Hence, the SS authorities introduced the practice of tattooing in order to identify the bodies of registered prisoners who had died."

From the source you did not read:
"Economic development and fertility transitions:
A strong inverse relationship exists between economic development and fertility rates, though the causality runs in both directions. As countries develop economically:
-Child survival improves: Reducing the perceived need for multiple births
-Women’s education increases: Consistently associated with lower fertility preferences
-Urbanization accelerates: Urban living typically reduces desired family size
-Old-age security systems develop: Reducing reliance on children for support in later life
These factors explain why regions at different economic development stages show markedly different growth patterns. However, cultural factors also play an important role, explaining why some middle-income countries maintain higher fertility than their economic development level might predict."

It seems any economic system eventually breaks as human nature chips away at it. Decentralization of power and money may help stabalize it.
Also, agree that basic needs should be addressed. The amount the US spends on military could be lowered to address this need. It spends more than many countries combined and it fails audits. Addressing this would also lower help in other domains, like welfare, medical care, social security, and housing.
