Is there anyone from Romania that can answer a geography/ culture question?
I know Romanian is the official
Is there a specific dialect spoken around the Făgăraș mountain?
I absolutely do not trust web translation sites to translate dialogue for my characters.
An annoyed Father speaking to his young son
- "Stay close."
- "We are here to track and hunt boar. I do not want to have to track you if you get lost "
- "Where are you!"

#WordWeavers 2026-09-22 — If you wrote a memoir on your writing journey so far, what would it be called?
"It Wasn't The Author's Barely Disguised Fetish. However It Was Strange None The Less."
Alternative tittle
"I Did Six Impossible Things This Morning, So Let's Go Get Breakfast."

#WordWeavers 2026-09-13: Share a line of dialogue that sounds innocent without context but absolutely isn't.
“A chicken.. in a tin pot.. atop a horse.”

.
.
Not innocent as Medb is facetiously & cryptically telling Trinity, that she's got Trinity pretty much pegged (not like that, get your mind out of the gutter)

#ScribesAndMakers 2026-09-11: Our next featured creator is a group of three collaborators. Have you ever been part of a collaborative group for your creative work?
Yeah. I'm currently in one.
And I can pull out a trite slogan from work because it legitimately applies instead of being hollow forced positivity
"Team work makes The Dream work"

#WordWeavers 2026-08-30: If you could interview one of your characters over coffee, what would be the first question you asked?
That is how I wrote The Cantata of the Wild Soul.
I was in the Tavern in my head when Parthia walked in. I offered to buy her food and drink if she'd let me write down her story.
The first question was, "Where would you like to start?"

#WordWeavers 2026-08-31. What's one thing you hope readers remember long after they finish your story?
The author's barely disguised fetish!
JUST KIDDING... it's the author's barely disguised trauma.
Seriously, I hope they remember that they liked reading it.
I've read my share of books that weren't bad, they just didn't click.
I'd hate for them to have read it and get to the end feeling like a kid that got home from Trick'or'Treating and their bag is full of raisins.
Not bad, just not what they wanted at that moment, y'know?

#ScribesAndMakers 2026-07-19 When you read or watch a mystery, how often are you able to solve it before the answer is revealed?
Frequent. There's the infamous "Mystic River" incident where I had everything figured and sorted in under 15min and my spouse at the time got pissed off.
I have since learn how to not blurt out shit when when the brain cells go "Oh hey!"

Could use a cross brace from top of the opening side to the bottom of the hinge side.
Even if you biscuit joined the boards they'll sag after a while

I was a huge Alice Cooper fan. The first album I bought was School's Out. Saw him live twice, even got to meet him one year in Detroit.
Haven't bought anything since he went on that anti trans skreed years ago. Put all the CDs in storage.
Wept, burried the dude that would hate me if I met him again since transitioning.
Burried him, and moved on even with worse than a hole to fill.. a catalogue of tainted memories.

#WritersCoffeeClub 2026-02-14. Share a short paragraph (3-5 sentences) of raw prose: the more unpolished, the better.
★Everyone: What's the most prominent signature in this draft?
———————————————
So many emotions colliding, fighting, none able to come out on top.
Just a constant cascading cyclone,
Sad, monstrous, elation, beautiful,
Animalistic, joyous, confusion, lonely,
Monstrously-beautiful, painful-loneliness, joyous-sad, animalistic-elation…
It was too overwhelming.
Too overwhelming.
TOO OVERWHELMED!
I grabbed my head with both hands trying to make my mind stop spinning like a feather at the mercy of a storm’s winds.
The scream that erupted from me was a savage primal hymn of every emotion I was feeling.
My arm slammed repeatedly into the wall trying in vain to cast off the phantasmal grappler that came from within.

#WritersCoffeeClub #WCC 2026-02-09 — Do you subscribe to ‘show, don’t tell’? Why, or why not?
I'm too broke to have a subscription
There are characters, they tell me the story, and I try not to cockup getting it transcribed

I'm not on death's door, but I am next on the fascists hit list, and being poor in 'Murica means I probably have 15-20yrs left on the clock.
I think we're going to hit Kessler in 30-40, with a sharply increasing chance every 5yrs after if it hasn't happened by then.
This is also barring that incompetent frog mouthed dipshit having one of his X-whatever projects detonating while in orbit

I won't be alive when the inevitable Kessler Syndrome happens. Though the tech bros are really doing their damnedest to make it happen soon....

#WritersCoffeeClub 2026-01-21: When writing about unpleasant feelings, how do you avoid alienating the reader entirely?
I write as I write. I write first for myself, my partner second. A broader audience will drift in as the winds of whims guide them. I don't premeditate how to manipulate, or coddle for that matter, other readers. I genuinely do my best to capture the characters' stories with vividness and emotions, because that is what I wanted to read growing up.
