I successfully gardened this week. There’s still more week, so potentially more can be done before it ends.
I found some ants in the soil of a pot as I put some indoor basil out into it. Looked like a nursery. 😬
I’m still adapting to workflows involving potentially hundreds of seedlings from a flat. Work takes up valuable plant tending time.

I’m here, but I’m not happy…for reasons. gestures
I transitioned a couple of decades ago. Getting documentation changes in my area then required a doctor to agree. We did away with that, but now so many places are fighting against our very existence.
If you care about people, listen to trans people. We used to be kids too and having to fight the system as a kid (or just being unrelentingly distraught while missing a meaningful childhood) sucks.

I don’t fully understand my fascination with Jellyfin. It’s quite impressive for open source software and has some of what commercial software lacks (a sense of being in control and no nags to pay more or use a feature you hate).
There’s something amazing about being able to take a physical item and convert it into one that exists via access by an interface that does not require internet access for everyday use (presumably, I haven’t tested this).
I like adding things to collections and lists and this interface is pleasing to look at the cover art for shows and music.
I share my appreciation for all the hard work, collaboration, and dedication for this to exist today. Streaming doesn’t have to be controlled by big tech. 🙂

@nprofile…9q72 If Notifications opens another tabbed view, I’d prefer it stays where it is, otherwise, open to a dropdown menu on the far right. I’ve still yet to commit to serious Friendica use, so take my feedback with that in mind.
I’m so pleased you’re still working on this. 🙂

@nprofile…gehf I have such long lists of things I want/need to do. I just get more inspired at night, or potentially more focused (fewer distractions). Could be revenge bedtime procrastination too.

Sometimes I can’t figure out what I want to do until bedtime, but then it’s too late…

@nprofile…gqmu Is she explaining what that history is or expecting people to waste their time trying to figure out what history it is she’s talking about? (I’m not doing YouTube these days, so I don’t know how this went down), but it’s helping me realize how folks can shift the burden onto you to find the possibly nonexistent evidence that would magically change the minds of people who are witnessing this horror that cannot be justified.

I tried checking out a host for working with video streams and storage, but they might not be accepting new customers?
What are folks using for PeerTube these days?

They can take up a lot of valuable counter space if you don’t use them frequently.

@nprofile…evae You can get protein from nuts, mushrooms, beans, and tofu products. Vitamin B12 can be sourced from enriched nutritional yeast (or supplements). Calcium is in dark, leafy greens. Your sibling could have looked this up.
Are you considering changing your diet to vegan for your sibling’s benefit? Do it for you and the animals. 🙂

@nprofile…74hx Some great twists this episode!
I recently started the first book. I’m appreciating some character changes they made, but I’m very interested in how much the show strayed from the material. I really appreciate getting inside the character’s heads to really understand what was going on.
