can someone please explain why writing a summary in a hashtag is acceptable but writing that same summary in the cw field, where your actually shown it before you read the thing-- is not (?)

2026-07-18 10:50:01 UTC

- reply

its only a "risk" i have to take, only if your a privileged shithead who refuses to apply cws to your posts- for some fucking reason; otherwise, i can read the cw which gives a general idea on what is contained within, and make a choice, if i want to read the post, before continuing

2026-07-18 10:46:13 UTC

- reply

also lol i cant know if i want to read it, unless there is a cw, thats the fucking point, the only way i can figure out if i want to read it otherwise would be *to read it* and at that point, its too late to avoid it;
giving it a cw is making it actually possible for someone to determine if they want to read the thing first-

2026-07-18 10:22:52 UTC

ah yes here comes the 'just manually curate a list of every single possible thing that could ever cause you issues and predict what everyone you've ever followed could ever say-';
you clearly dont care about anyones actual issues, just appearing like you do; -- so let me try something else; -- have you considered that CWing things properly also allows you to have people see your posts about e.g geeky technology, and ponderous art, without seeing shit they dont want, about e.g politics and stuff? like they can still follow you just for those, when, they otherwise, would not be able too?

please explain why you think your tantrum over adding a cw is "censorship" and trumps other peoples ability to decide for themselves what they want to see or not;
also its harmful because 1- it overrides my consent and insists i must see your bullshit, but 2- do you even know what a fucking trigger is?? (obviously not or you wouldnt post shit like this-)
let me tell you, i have cPTSD, certain topics cause me to completely fucking break apart sometimes for the entire day, during this time, i am unable to do like anything, this is very much harmful to me,
this has happened from fedi, even, in posts, talking about politics; and other topics, especially if those topics are just (laundering harm done through the state- like e.g politics often is-)

okay but have you considered that violating peoples autonomy and abducting people is okay and not harmful at all specifically when its for reasons i approve of, and also only if its parents doing it, and also only if they frame it as a "punishment" .. or just idfk something you 'have to do', and don't you see your "incapable of making good decisions" so therefore you aren't allowed rights or autonomy, i am superior to you yes those same decisions are somehow perfectly fine and i dont rush to violate peoples autonomy if a not-child does them, but thats different also this means that specifically only parental figures are allowed to violate your autonomy, and no one else again only in ways i personally find acceptable sorry i mean 'objectively good" .. you gotta understand clearly the person doing it, and if they call it a 'punishment' changes everything about how the exact same actions will effect you and makes it suddenly no longer harmful; no this isn't an "opinion" its a scientific fact

honestly surprising, in my experience fedi/mastodon is full of anarchists and shit where the argument of 'wah your helping criminals' would definitely not fly lol, you'd just 'lol based' and move on, like uh.. i did? .. though maybe its different on tech fedi over say queer fedi

.. oh no! not "evading justice"! defending yourself from state actiors whom are trying to intentionally cause you immense harm? how fucking dare you /j
.. anyway
i mean they didnt even use purely extremes, they litterally had drug dealers on that list, giving drugs to people who want them .. like imagine someone is able to do what they want with their own fucking body, without needing permission from anyone else ?? THE HORROR /j
anything that apparently gets in the way of state violence sounds good to me, especially if its effective, lol, as that would just mean that grapheneos is harm reduction lol

- its not up to you to decide what is 'worse' in this case; for anyone else that would differ for each person
- incarceration does not protect the public, you've literally already stripped them of all power they could have to cause harm, ??? wtf are you doing
- even if you did conclude that it is somehow "needed" (which it isn't) .. there's no reason you need to be extremely overly cruel with it.
- just validating my point about ethics being about trying to make horrible shit seem okay
- honestly i dont think killing people can be "justified" ever either; which was kind of the original point "i dont think class concious saying its okay to kill people changes much" was litterally the context here

2026-03-04 11:31:30 UTC

- reply

please get this disingenuous bullshit out of my notifys and kindly fuck off

2026-02-28 19:54:02 UTC

fundamentally though, as it stands the general forms of 'ethics' and 'morality' are about controlling the masses by deeming certain actions 'unethical' or 'immoral' and others as 'ethical', where your to only ever do the 'ethical' ones and never the 'unethical' ones, furthermore, the concept of it being ""unethical"" is used to legitimize harm and violence towards you, (despite that normally being deemed 'bad' by the same system) ..
given this, i would say that these are completely worthless concepts, its authority with a funny coat of paint .. their meant to cause harm not prevent it, despite claiming the opposite --
its not like fashion or entertainment, those you can actually see what the 'good' usecase would be; i mean the way their used isn't the problem; its the way their _produced_ is
however for this, the way its used is like the problem, the concept itself is the problem, the way its put forward is tthe problem.

2026-02-28 19:40:38 UTC

- reply

mm no, i dont think class concious telling me its okay to murder people instead of the bourgeois would change anything actually.
as i said earlier, 'ethics' seems to be about making horrific shit seem okay, but claims to be about determine what is "bad" this is basically a 'the purpose of a system is what it does' thing, and is mostly me complaining about linguistics.
> first of all ethics are far to expansive and complex to be described by a few simple rules,
i would instead say that the 'complexity' comes from people trying to compromise on first principals and pretend doing horrible shit is okay; in litterally every example of this so called 'complexity' i have ever seen it has been some version of this.
for the second point, i would say that is because -- we are the only ones doing it;
of course im not some perfectly wise entity, but we are litterally the only ones attempting to do it that way; still more consistent than when you dont :akko_shrug:

2026-02-28 18:44:16 UTC

- reply

tbh tend to just build things up from first principals, things like not breaking others autonomy, people needing to be able to live, etc .. and going from there and .. i typically try to avoid the term "ethics" or related terms; for various reasons tbh, i do not concern myself them as i view them as just another means for controlling the masses ..
as you said its "unethical" to steal but apparently it is ethical to hoard resources and demand you pay some made up points to access them, if you dont have them then just go die on the streets but dont let us see you or we'll feel bad .. its unethical to murder someone .. people have a right to exist.. but if its the state doing it and its renamed to an "execution" suddenly now your right to exist is up for debate and its "just a different opinion" now we'll go on and debate "how to murder people ethically", see also: "millitary action" or "war" or "counterterrorism"

2026-02-28 18:28:52 UTC

- reply

in our experience ethics and morality seem more about making it seem okay to do attrocious shit than they are about not doing them
remember prisons are "ethical"

why are they treating your deadname as if its a headmate or something.. and then also simultaneously saying its the same person as you, but then referring to it as if its a different person with a different identity, specifically for the purposes of doing misgendering
like even the way you have handled this is like pretty good, you haven't been like 'revenge now' or whatever retribution bullshit, its literally just 'please leave me alone' or whatever, tbh
.. and like i can understand if someone distancing themselves from you or going no-contact or whatever causes you to feel somewhat isolated, but like what the f- is all this other shit

2025-08-26 20:37:42 UTC

fyi; you have said and done things here that things to me that make me feel helpless and like i should just stop existing (as i've been completely hammered by people who are supposed to 'support trans rights' turn on me and start blaming me for my oppression and dehumanized me, and all sorts of shit for daring not blindly endorse a candidate who wants me dead, and hate on me for saying their doing transphobia, because 'they have a gay kid' ..)
i say nothing about it to them because im scared saying anything is manipulating how people will act, and i dont want to do that; but then but you loose your shit over a vent reply, while you are (probably) not actively at-risk while reading ..

i have also given mutual aid to people in my community, which actively helps people
i have; harm reductioned, you have only harm-maximizationed so far,
but im not here to brag, and this isn't a contest.

2025-08-26 18:35:01 UTC

you are endorsing a candidate who is against trans rights,
we are saying trans people should have rights
you are telling trans people, that they are "anti-trans bigots" for not endorsing someone who wants to take away their rights and cause them to come to harm;
my rights mean nothing to you, all that matters to you is the person hurting trans people; does so under a blue banner instead of a red one,
you will never advocate for them to push forward a better candidate, you will blindly accept anyone they give you, and loose track of literally everything that matters,
you would happily have me killed if it meant "beating trump"
you are a cisgender shitlib who thinks violence and harm towards other people is okay as long as the person doing it works for the state, and that state call themselves 'democrats';
i am actually transgender person, advocating for myself to have basic rights that aren't thrown out on a whim.
if anyone is "Blue MAGA" it's you

2025-08-26 18:22:57 UTC

anyway, coming soon to a shitlib near you:
jewish lives are such pushing a purity issue, no candidate is perfect!!, we need to focus on what matters, stopping the ongoing threat of russian invasion! Hitler is GREAT for that, THATS the pressing issue! we can improve on the other stuff later, nothing will ever be perfect!

dunno it sounds pretty easy, just like go for litterally any other candidate, who isn't just going 'ooh but i want MY fascism instead'
> your rationale is the rationale of the immature fool
do you have any idea how many times i have been called 'immature' for wanting to have actual rights that mean fucking anything at all?
*you will never get a better deal in this world*
actually you can, pretty easily, just dont endorse the shitty candidate who wants to kill trans people;
you know your insisting that :
- have my rights violated
or..
- have my rights violated
specifically, my right to fucking life, calling it a "purity wedge issue" and saying that saying i actually do have a right to fucking live is somehow "Blue MAGA", and i should just go give the guy whos saying i shouldn't exist, the power to actually make that happen
you are Blue MAGA. your the one whos calling my right to exist; a 'purity issue' and 'dividing and conqour'.

2025-08-26 17:54:57 UTC

- reply

why not, instead of the liberal candidates promising to violate the rights of trans people
instead, they stop endorsing israeli genocide; and support trans rights
and then everyone votes for them.

people have a right to exist, human rights are universal for everyone; not 'some humans rights'; this is not up for debate,
stop trying to make everyones rights conditonal; stop trying to make it something that can be be tossed out whenever someone fucking feels like it; if "people have a fundamental right to exist" offends you; and is a 'problem' to you, then you are part of the problem; fuck you,

all countries, generally; Israel is just a particularly bad example, anyway for instance US gov just sent them more ppl and tools to murder people more efficiently, I keep seeing ppl scream it’s totally “justified” and “fine” online, and so on, Germany endorsed them and actively shuts down any protest of their actions but ofc that doesn’t count for you, and .. so on? They have fucking government backing from like 3 major countries to keep doing that, everyone online loves complaining about how it’s totally understandable and okay that they bombed a hospital because khamas, it’s fucking insane, no one does that with Taiwan or Ukraine,

2025-05-05 02:04:34 UTC

well apparently for one countries are people actually and despite their entire purpose for existing being violating human rights suddenly they have a right “to defend themselves” from actual people (no.) so it’s okay (for one)

Also just occurred to me, I find it funny them acknowledging it’s a slur is what’s unbelievable and not them somehow missing the context that your talking about an image editor. that’s very expected; normal major social media site behaviour right there,

this actually doesn't work; you see windows checks if the first two bytes are MZ, and if it isn't it treats it as a COM executable, yknow from MS-DOS? which then windows nicely informs you can't run on your 64 bit install of windows

it’s worth it; we need to end systemic oppression no matter how long it takes if not for our sake then for the people who live 300 years from now sake, and yes it’s still making things *better* now, even if not perfect, it’s still an improvement !

there is something to said about 'right to be forgotten' and i am generally a fan of atleast that choice being avalible, but yes i very much share this, there would be no point to me being here if everything i did was just forgotten and not that important imo

idk there's a reason I always call it bgdl or maybe sceBgDl is all. SceDownload is the name of the thread that plays that animation of the game going into the top corner.. which doesn't even play in any homebrew that uses it.
Sorry a friend of mine worked out exactly how the background downloader works :c I made alot of homebrews & plugins too over there too ha ha

I mean he said "or" here but yes he seems to think calling for violence is okay as long as it's directed at the *right people* or is done by the government. Which is to say they have no problem with it.
since remember someone saying 'nazis should be killed' or whatever on the same platform apparently was unacceptable and a threat of violence towards lunduke. And "maybe should be warned" but calling for people to be beheadded hah no-
Now I don't particularly approve of either... I have this shocking hot take that murder is bad... but yknow

no no the one I linked is specifically "calling for violence would be unacceptable" pretty much

also claimed directly calling for violence to others was something they'd deem "unacceptable" and that's their "line" is... the same mod who said this openly supports people being beheaded.

it can't use SceDownload because SceDownload only promotes on package files, it can download generic files but its not like it knows how to extract a VPK or even what on is (And technically SceDownload is the name of the thread that plays the animation not the api but uh .. name stuck <3) .. without like a bunch of patches anyway or something
