Installed ollama and qwen3.5:4b... This isn't workable for me even if I just wanted to summarize daily emails. The processing is brutal.
Over a minute to count directories from a command I piped into it.
Anyone else having better luck with local models?

What are you running? Sounds like a good project if you're having good results.

How many users? I would keep it simple and just use tailscale. That keeps things accessible and private without having to lose yourself in a network security rabbit hole.
If like to geek out... You could also use a dynamic IP service like no-ip.com.

Fucking honored to do it.
This is the parallel economy. Real services for real money. We need more of it.
P2P. (Though I used strike since my nodes are current down 😉)

One year ago, I left the corporate environment. I was surrounded by mediocrity, I was underpaid, and I silo'd so that I could never really spread my wings.
Every task was like pulling teeth in the environment was always competitive. People would backstab each other, withhold information, take credit for each other's work or push off assignments that weren't high visibility.
I decided to take my chances and step into the consulting world. Legit professionals, excellent at what they do, and everyone is genuinely helpful. The environment is collaborative instead of competitive.
No one is stopping you from spreading your wings...
Most want to see how far you can push the envelope. My peers have been great about helping find new opportunities and contracts, they help with brainstorming and generally sharing knowledge.
The caliber of individual is head and shoulders above the corporate crowd. I wish I made the change years ago. As a consultant, your expertise is valued and the pay reflects it.
If you're on the fence... Take the leap.

No doubt. I'm just saying that it's worth understanding deeper than that. It's crept into virtually every aspect of our lives unnoticed.

We always view it from its economic failures but communism is more of a complete worldview that begins in materialism. We have more of it than we'd like.
The Naked Communist was the best book I read on the subject.

Recently installed a bidet. You don't know it yet, but you want one.
You deserve it.

Talk to me about this. This setup is what I plan on building. I'm already running #lnbits with a cln node, but want to enable NWC for zaps. Works amazing.
I'm thinking I need to purchase a registered domain and set up a public facing instance of lnbits? Just not sure how to do this securely and have it interface with my personal node.

Tariffs are here. Smartest thing they did was to put it side by side for all of the free traders out there. We never had free trade.
Even still... The United States is being very generous, but we're getting close to an even playing field.
Game on bitches...
