fwiw, I don't have this issues because there is *almost* no alternative. For me (with emphasis on that last part: "me") Firefox is the only viable. Or even some radicaler unbloated Firefox versions (as @npub1vpu…608s)
As frontend dev, of course I do test my work on safari, chrome and firefox. And that is it: testing.
Brave and Ladybird are (again: for me) dead projects. The first is lead by a homophobic conservative intolerant cryptobro and the other by a fascist.

same... 6%
Because I got 50% on disruption:

In my defense: I would love to destroy capitalism, patriarchy, racism and techsolutionism, using all methods availables. 😊

Yeah, I agree: representation matters. That's why I find this worrisome.
I think Ladybird doesn't fit CSS Day's ethos, and as an inclusive conference, I find it odd that they seem not to be aware of this.
Of course, I would love to support Ladybird because, as an abstraction, it is a great idea, but in its current/concrete form, to me, it is a dead project.
thx for your reply, and have a nice day!

Ok ... after sending an email to the organisation of #CSSday , mentioning @npub1ret…l55h and @npub1sgc…ng40 and not getting a reply. I've decided not to go to to the event.
Really a shame, because I saw @npub1jd6…08ye @ #39c3 and it was a great fun! <3
Now, I truly wonder if the other participants will feel ok sharing the stage with the COO of this organisation (see the links in the quoted toot, and more here: https://programming.dev/post/26426207/15416301)

I hope you get well soon.
I'm seriously considering not attending to #cssday after I learn the COO of Ladybird Browser Initiative will give a talk at the conference?
Maybe you are not aware about their very non-inclusive policy and —to be soft— their toxic leadership?
You can read a well doc'd article on Drew DeVault's blog: https://drewdevault.com/2025/09/24/2025-09-24-Cloudflare-and-fascists.html
Or, a shorter version of the concerns raised by their project on [@kelson](https://notes.kvibber.com/@kelson ) 's blog: https://hyperborea.org/reviews/software/ladybird-inclusivity/
(edit: Ladybird org's name)
