For "binance", I keep reading "binface".
That is literally a rubbish name for a company.
Maybe the connection with refuse isn't quite as glaring in US English idk.

I held this ten-chair spot for hours today in the TPAC lobby, as people came and went throughout the day. It was all hallway conversations, compressed, in one place, in parallel and in series. Got quite a lot done. Met a few folks I had missed.
Social battery gave out just as the last few folks left for flights or dinner.

Former Prince Andrew’s Balmoral trip with Epstein, Maxwell under investigation Police in Scotland have said they are in the early stages of an investigation of trips made by former Prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, at the British Royal Family's Balmoral estate. In a statement made on Friday, police said “All inquiries are evidence-led, with the needs of victim survivors at the heart of those inquiries." The disgraced royal and brother of King Charles was a long-time friend of financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, though he has spent years distancing himself from the friendship and denying that he knew of any wrongdoing. In February this year, Mountbatten Windsor was arrested and held for hours by British police on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his links to Epstein, which he denies. Maxwell

Back when I used to do frontend stuff occasionally I was kind of a maniac about "widgets". A "widget" is an archaic user interface design term for when you have a particular logical concept that maps to a visual idiom, and the visual idiom is made consistent across an application in order to alert the user when they are interacting with the same object, so they only have to learn how to visually parse it once. it makes me sad that this concept doesn't exist any more

Focusmate seems to have protanopia. The problem isn't in my camera, it's in software, because:
1. That background is a static image, not going through the camera, and in the original image I uploaded, the trees are normal autumn colors.
2. It only affects Focusmate, not any other web service like Google Meet or Zoom
3. When I test the camera locally, it's fine
My Focusmate partner sees everything miscolored, but I see them normally.
What could cause something like this?

Remember everybody, if you are a recently updated #tmux user who has been losing their mind because you can no longer select text like a sane person.
This is the answer:
echo set -g mouse off >> ~/.tmux.conf
Then just restart all your sessions.
The alternative, IIRC, is to hold down shift while selecting, but who the frack would want that?
