On this day in 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin whitepaper — 'Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System' — to a cryptography mailing list.
Bush #2 ran the same game plan on gay marriage. Poll the public and it was like 10th priority across the country after things like the poor performance in the wars. But, the first 9 were things where people were pissed at him. So they flooded the zone with anti gay marriage conversation because it was the most popular issue they were more popular on. So here we are again. Given a list people pick around a dozen things more important to them than trans people, all things the Republicans are losing on like the wars, inflation, and broken promises. All radio silence from the right while they pile on the coverage on the single issue where their position is slightly more popular.

Need an escrow service for anything like this to be feasible. There was a bitcoin escrow service but no bitcoiner cared so the creator just stopped working on it.
That to me proved that bitcoin is not a serious project. You need an escrow to do basically anything real.
