GM! Agios Nikolaos (St. Nicholas) Church in Chania, Crete. Built around 1320 as a Roman Catholic cathedral, it was converted into a mosque after the Ottoman conquest in the 17th century and then back into a church in 1918, this time Orthodox. It is the only building in Greece to possess both a bell tower and a minaret. #greece #photography

I usually get kerrygold or similar irish cheddars (they're the cheapest grass-fed I could find... old croc is better, and from Aus but it's more costly).
Buuuut, I had grass-fed american slices (organic valley iirc) once for a holiday a couple years ago where the recipes called for it, and it was like melty heaven.
Ingredient quality always comes first. Always.

The fresco, titled Ecce Homo ("Behold the Man"), was painted by Spanish artist Elías García Martínez in 1870 and decorated the wall of the Santuario de la Misericordia church in Borja, a small town of about 5,000 people in Zaragoza.
By the early 2010s, the fresco had deteriorated due to moisture on the church walls, with parts of the paint flaking off.
In June 2012, Cecilia Giménez (also spelled Jiménez), an 81-year-old local woman, decided to restore the fresco on her own, without professional training or permission.
She used a 10-year-old photo of the painting as a reference, but her efforts resulted in a comical disfigurement: Jesus ended up with a half-beard and a monkey-like appearance.
The botched restoration went viral, spawning countless memes and earning the nickname "Monkey Christ".
Despite (or because of) the disaster, the incident brought thousands of tourists to Borja, transforming the small town into an international sensation.
In 2016, the original painting that García Martínez had used as a model for the fresco resurfaced in Zaragoza, confirming what the fresco originally looked like
Cecilia Giménez, who passed away in 2025 at age 94, said the experience was difficult at first but ultimately "very good for me and for the santuario" because of the increased attention and visitors.

I'm already the worst person in the world because I'm a Christian white male.
What do I care about what NPCs label me?
Besides, I am racist, just not in the typical way they mean it. 🤷♂️

Chapter 3 of The Christian Man is up:
"The Word Is Your Rule."
A man can own ten Bibles and still not know what God has said. He can quote a true verse and use it to defend a lie.
This one covers reading Scripture in context, testing the man behind the pulpit, and what you do when God's Word disagrees with you.
The Word is a mirror before it is a weapon.

This one by Me:
The Soldier's Awakening
I am a soldier fighting for the red, white, and blue,
shedding blood for a cage and calling it freedom.
Bleeding on the streets and tearing innocent families apart,
believing that this is fighting for freedom,
while watching them poison and break people across the board.
Watching consciousness be lost,
watching people die for a system they never asked to be born in.
Claiming you’re fighting in the name of God,
while creating a world that allows children to inherit the lies that are being fed.
The flag waves, but it covers the eyes of the blind.
The anthem plays, but it drowns out the cries of the broken.
They tell you it’s honor. They tell you it’s duty.
But who wrote the orders? Who built the cage?
And who profits from the blood you spill?
I woke up on the battlefield.
I looked at the red, white, and blue,
and I saw the chains painted in the colors of liberty.
I saw the matrix using faith as a weapon,
using patriotism as a leash.
I am no longer a soldier for the system.
I am a dismantler of the lies.
I will not bleed for a cage.
I will not fight for the masters who hide behind the flag.
I am tearing down the illusions.
I am waking the children.
I am fighting for the real freedom—
the freedom of the soul,
the sovereignty of the mind,
and the Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
No more blood for the cage.
No more lies for the children.
The real war is not on the streets.
The real war is in the mind.
And I am claiming my victory...
one step at a time. 🛡️👑🕊️

Ontem nesse horário começava o sepultamento das últimas chances de suposta liberdade pra esse país 🥲
Acho que pode ser isso, a razão do clima estranho
And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
Genesis 15:6
I don't know what to tell you. You disagree with the Apostles who lived with Jesus for years, the disciples, and the early church fathers. I'll pray a Hail Mary for you.
Amen. I know brother.
One of the great paradoxes of the Christian life is that the very things we often resent, trials, discipline, correction, are frequently among God's greatest gifts. This is the work of sanctification. As we wait for glorification, cling to Christ. Confess sin. Repent quickly. Receive grace gladly. Then do it again tomorrow. #ToChristAlone
Not pushing back on your "abundant life" at all; a life in Christ *is* abundant even if it is full of trials and discipline, not just blessings.
Does he say Sorath? 🤔👇
In religious contexts, "Sorath" has two distinct meanings depending on the tradition:
Occult/Esenoteric Christianity (Western Tradition)
In Western occultism and Anthroposophy, Sorath is a solar spirit/demon:
Planetary Spirit: In Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy (1533), Sorath is the spirit of the Sun, opposed by the benevolent intelligence Nakhiel. The name derives from Hebrew letters (סורת) whose numerical values sum to 660+6+200+400 = 666—the "number of the beast" from Revelation.
Rudolf Steiner's Teaching: In Anthroposophy, Steiner described Sorath as a powerful evil being—the "Sun-Demon"—connected to the number 666 and predicted to oppose spiritual development after the turn of the millennium. Unlike Lucifer (pride/false illumination) or Ahriman (materialism), Sorath represents "direct hatred of the spiritual itself."
Man exiting plane into terminal in the middle of a sunny, clear skies day: “Holy moly, people are still leaving”
Me: “Yes, sir, that’s how flights work. You land, other people board the plane and leave.”
Goddamn I've been getting about a dozen messages a day lately about the stupid election!
After 50+ spam texts and calls over the last several weeks telling me to vote, my answer remains the same: no.
I've become absolutely indifferent to partisan politics because I no longer believe the fundamental divide is left vs. right. Both factions seem committed to preserving the same underlying system. You're welcome to disagree. My focus isn't on which political tribe gains power next. It's on family, community, faith, and the relationships that no government can manufacture and no election can ultimately sustain.
The most important institution in society isn't the state. It's the family. While politics consumes itself in an endless struggle for power, many of us are busy building lives beyond its reach. That's where my attention will remain.
I think race-realists tend to heavily discount the effect of religion and ethnicity. This is most easily explained by the fact that most of them aren't _completely_ WEIRD (i.e. Roman Catholic).
They have lots of smaller, weaker institutions and laws, but not The Institution and The Law.
That's why "Cradle Catholic" is a term, but "Cradle Methodist" isn't.
The triple lock in Ireland and the triple lock in the UK mean different things.
In Ireland, its an agreement that Ireland cannot deploy its defense forces overseas unless agreed by the government, parliament and the UN.
Bless their innocent hearts 🙏
We are filled in the morning with thy mercy.
And we have rejoiced, and are delighted.
Morn in her rosy car is borne;
Let Him come forth our perfect morn,
The Word in God the Father One,
The Father, perfect in the Son.
All laud to God the Father be;
All praise, Eternal Son, to thee;
All glory, as is ever meet,
To God the Holy Paraclete.
Amen.

Man, prayers up 🙏🏻
I've envisioned flip-down toe kicks for short people, like kneelers in a Catholic church. I prefer a taller table height than most, so... I want to make provisions for the vertically challenged in the kitchen. 😁
Fortunately, we remain

West owes much to Rome, but I feel this romanticization of its pre- Christian pagan power projection is an enlightenment invention. A regression from Christendom and its moral underpinnings to a material-focused nostalgia where everyone can pretend they were a righteous pagan Roman citizen. It feeds national pride, but then... pride is a sin.
Is it that important? At least it can't be burnt. Pantheon is a Catholic church... what might happen should they approach it I wonder.
