Good deeds can't pay for your sins.
Becoming a better person can't, either.
Neither does going to church,
or memorizing bible verses,
or getting baptized,
or confessing to preists,
or praying the rosary,
or kissing icons.
What can wash away your sins?
What can make you whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus. 🩸🐑

The benefit is less in automation and more in "having an guy" that owns this or that affair.
This clears your mind of noise, allowing you to dedicate yourself to the things that matter most.
You don't realize how costly managing a slew of responsibilities is until you can train and delegate the work to an assistant, then merely direct them from a high level.
The amount of energy, peace of mind, and time that is returned is of such high value. Being someone already, I have been looking for where the next level of ease and automation would come from.
The goal is an autonomous (private) family office that I can hand off to the wife when I'm gone so that she can seamles direct all our affairs. The same thing can be cloned for our children when they have their own households.

I've offloaded the following to agents:
✅ project/task management
✅ one-off shopping quests
✅ rental car reservations
Next I'll be working on all our food delivery for grocery and space freezer.
All zero touch, dedicated agent emails, all I do is approve orders, agent handles everything. I don't get bothered with emails, never get added to newsletters, don't have to worry about tracking, lots of time and energy preserved.
Ordering of air filters and managing maintenance visits for home and auto service will probably come after. Beyond that probably analyzing expenses, perhaps portfolio analysis and projection, eventually even accounting.
Slowly automating the grunt work of my life away.

2. CCW: Bodyguard 2.0.
Most accurate pocket gun I've ever shot. No optic needed. Master 0-15 yards deploying from pocket holster, reloading, and getting shots in target fast. Very fun.
3. PDW: Honey badger SD.
Do-it-all short barrelled "bump in the night" PDW with integrated suppressor. NFA rules are cucked right now so a good time to buy. Master walking through your house, checking corners. Add CQB optic and flashlight. Master 0-50yd at the range. Learn to shoot with the most minimal earpro possible. Stick with subsonic as the default. Stage within a couple steps of bed and setup so you can have it unlocked and loaded within 10 seconds. Works for travel and as a truck gun; use AI to verify laws since it's an SBR+suppressed system that governments hate most.

The slipperly slope follows: once there is state login, it actually incentivizes big tech to converge on it, since they can converge on universal fingerprinting (even without direct legal identifying info) using metadata since it would provide a guarantee of a single person using a single login across properties.
Once the technocratic system and the state have unified on it's view of subjects... that's where the scary stuff can happen. The covid lockdown and vaccination hysteria could have been 1000x more evil under this system, which is hard to fathom.

TLDR: a fully permissioned society based on a DigitalIdentity state seems extremely likely at the present moment, but so does a greater parallel society of freedom than ever before.

2026-10-25 16:20:56 UTC

Once that is derisked, the immediate question for the State becomes phasing out physical legacy identity documents and migrating that leg to biometric registration with your personal device (partnered with manufacturer sensors) but also from a very young age (maybe even starting on day of birth).
Biometrics can aggregate over time to become stronger, so I could see doctors appointments and flights being used to add additional scans, the way you phone lets you add additional fingerprints and additional reads of existing biometrics.
The goal for the state is knowing who is who and having a central database in order to unify the state across it's distributed and fragmented mechanisms.
In the private sector, that same unification will happen but opaquely using whatever is metadata revealed by the #DigitalIdentity technology chosen, to the extent that a universal fingerprint for a give persn will be converged on in time.
That's my current sense.

2026-10-25 16:16:39 UTC

- reply

I think it's likely the US ships "self custodial" #DigitalIdentity first, which is a flow where you submit your KYC documentation, that gets manually approved by the state, and then you can prove who you are using an app that "carries" the credential during login.

2026-10-25 15:26:19 UTC

The most realistic option for most in the face of #DigitalIdentity is...
1. Fight like hell to defeat it head on.
2. Constantly reduce surface area of your KYC person while keeping it perfectly viable for use in NPC/trash world. Isolate, segregate, and minimize KYC person usage.
3. Move your "real life" to freedom tech and start living in the new world now. Exit in every meaningful way without choosing exile just yet.
4. Eliminate highest levers of tyranny: inflation, vaccination, public schools, gov handouts, surveillance, big tech, city living, blue state, legacy social media, etc, etc, etc.
By being as expensive to tyranny as possible, you'll have the maximum amount of time and options relative to the masses, which should result in making the least destructive decisions possible without compromising values.
#nevent1q…ajud

2026-10-25 15:15:16 UTC

1. It's going to happen everywhere.
2. Two paths: burn bridge and live in exile, or keep KYC person viable, minimizing that surface area as much as possible while working on freedom in private. No perfect path; big difference in tradeoffs; treat as solely strategic since stakes are extreme.

We are constrained by both the natural world and our fallen natures, so we are less free than Adam, who was less free than God.
All to say is that Mankind has free will in the context of God's creation and divine plan, ergo His sovereign council.

Yes. Our will is not free from our nature or the nature of the world. That's only "tyranny" to the luciferian mind.
The Christian mind looks at the God who created everything and concludes only God's will can truly be free.
And God's will being free doesn't make us mindless puppets because God really did create beings that exist and make real choices, the thing we think of as 'free will' itself.
This is really important to establish in order to dispel the hysteria around Calvinism, which merely takes the Bible for it's word when it teaches that Mankind is depraved by nature, but God regenerates a people to Himself, giving them new natures, so that they freely choose to Christ as their King.

No, and that would be a massive issue.
It's more about whether the flock should divide over areas of Christian liberty when they are otherwise unified under primary doctrine (like salvation).

2026-10-23 16:04:17 UTC

Free will does not mean being able to fly or live forever or time travel or bevome invisible.
Free will is the ability to make real decisions, according to one's nature, within the confines of the natural world.
The one who created the natural world is not constrained in the slightest. God's free will is far greater than Mankind's. That's not offensive, that's common sense.

Me too.
It is a common misconception that Linux is more secure (as opposed to just being more free and open).
The big element people miss is that mobile OSes brought entirely new security architecture that is vastly superior to legacy desktop operating systems.
Big companies like Apple and Windows can afford to slowly integrate these new findings into their desktop offerings.
Linux does not work this way. Secureblue is attempting to do something extremely difficult but valuable: catch Linux desktops up to the security architectures of iOS + GrapheneOS + etc.
More color from Grok if interested:
SecureBlue takes the isolation and permission model that mobile OSes proved at scale. iOS and Android forced every app to declare what it touches, camera, mic, location, contacts, and made revocation trivial. macOS copied that with TCC, and Windows followed with tighter UAC and per-app capability prompts. Desktop Linux, by contrast, still runs most things as your full user with broad access to everything on the machine. SecureBlue closes that gap by layering mandatory access control, sandboxing, and explicit permission gates on top of a standard Linux base, so a compromised browser or a malicious package cannot silently read your files, keystrokes, or network traffic the way it could on a default install. The deeper point is that the permission model is not really about stopping malware, it is about making the blast radius visible and bounded when something does go wrong. That is the same logic behind Private Space on GrapheneOS, where even the same user account gets two isolated worlds. SecureBlue brings that philosophy to the laptop you actually work on all day. One angle worth exploring is how SecureBlue's approach compares to Qubes OS, which achieves similar isolation through whole virtual machines instead of in-process sandboxing, and the tradeoffs in usability between the two.

2026-10-23 15:14:23 UTC

- reply

I don't use Windows, and this isn't an argument about "anti-virus", but isolation architecture in modern operating systems that were initially invented in mobile.

2026-10-23 15:12:12 UTC

- reply

Windows and Mac have terrible privacy, but much better security than desktop Linux, which was essentially left behind by mobile-era architecture that has been steadily making its way into MacOS and Windows.
Secureblue attempts to bridge the gap, but you can see by studying their approach how big the gap is and just how serious the implications are.
Linux is extremely insecure.

Secureblue uses Wayland for security reasons. It seems reasonable.

h/t Grok ->
Secureblue's case for Wayland rests on X11's architecture being fundamentally unfixable.
Secureblue treats X11 as a design that assumed every local process was trusted, so any app on the same session could read keystrokes, capture other windows, or inject input without permission. Wayland inverts that by making the compositor the sole authority: each client only sees its own buffers and receives input only when focused, and privileged actions like screen capture go through explicit user-mediated portals. Secureblue operationalizes this by disabling Xwayland by default on GNOME, KDE Plasma, and Sway, treating any re-enablement as a deliberate security downgrade, and by requiring that any desktop environment they ship must support Wayland, run with Xwayland fully off, and properly lock down privileged protocols like screencopy. Their FAQ even lists those four criteria as hard requirements before considering a new image, which shows Wayland is not a preference but a gate. The deeper point is that X11's world-writable sockets under tmp and its shared event namespace cannot be patched into isolation, while Wayland's permissioned architecture aligns with the rest of Secureblue's hardening, SELinux confinement, removed SUID binaries, disabled user namespaces, so the graphical layer stops being the weak link that undermines everything else.

Lots of wisdom here by Doug Wilson on maintaining fellowship amongst division over secondary issues.
For many reasons, I am of the opinion that Christians should opt out of physical circumcision, but I wouldn't break fellowship with my cherished church family over it.

Paul taught about saving faith. 🕊️
James taught about false faith. 🤥
Therefore, only a saving faith brought about by regeneration can bring salvation. Merely claiming faith is not sufficient.
You can't lie your way into heaven; only those elect people who are granted a new nature seek after God by way of being drawn into and preserved in the Son.

Our church has many female helpers and we cherish them.
Our church has all male headship, and every family cherishes that.
