Everyone on the Fediverse, thank you for looking out for Kotes, caring for them, and keeping an eye on them every day.
Huh, you think it’s weird that my pronouns are they/them?
Well, so what?

2026-10-22 09:21:05 UTC

Good evening, Fedi folks.
So I need to save my Kagi Translate AI tokens, but I can post this by entering them directly.
Hello World, in English!

2026-10-21 14:42:44 UTC

Hmm. I've updated my FreshRSS instance.

2026-10-21 10:41:21 UTC

Japan is an animal paradise. Everyone lives together in harmony. Rats and masked palm civets alike wander around the entrance to my house.

2026-10-21 10:39:57 UTC

Another bear was spotted in the mountains near the middle school I used to attend.

2026-10-20 10:11:15 UTC

A lot happened today.
When you post a job opening on a platform like X, where aggressive people gather, you end up with a real mess.

2026-10-17 12:36:48 UTC

I don’t care about Google falling behind in AI. I’d like them to focus on fixing their search engine algorithm.

2026-10-15 12:36:47 UTC

Just recently, rats showed up in the neighborhood around my parents’ house, where I live.
So they might show up at my family home too.

2026-10-04 14:00:09 UTC

Dear Fediverse,
What does being human mean to you?

2026-10-01 11:21:07 UTC

I want to be an owl wrapped in a towel too.

2026-09-29 11:51:39 UTC

Owww. My little feet are starting to get hot.

2026-09-27 11:21:03 UTC

Good evening, Fediverse friends.
Meow meow Sunday.

2026-09-10 22:54:43 UTC

I'm gonna stay strong!

2026-09-10 22:53:03 UTC

Good morning, Fediverse.
Today is Friday. It's just before the weekend.

2026-09-06 06:12:53 UTC

Oh, and let me tell you, I believe the right to live a #NoAI life through and through, rejecting AI in every single way, should be guaranteed as a human right.

2026-09-04 06:28:50 UTC

Meow!

2026-09-04 06:07:10 UTC

GPT-6 is AGI?
That's like Vegeta claiming he's finally become the legendary Super Saiyan right before getting his ass handed to him by Frieza.

2026-09-03 13:15:23 UTC

I'm feeling really mentally frayed and depressed right now.
Nothing bad has actually happened, though. It's just that some shitty memories from the past are coming back to haunt me.
But since nothing is actually wrong, I'm trying my best not to lose it.
Send some good vibes my way, everyone.

2026-08-29 12:18:43 UTC

I’m with you.

2026-08-29 11:40:15 UTC

When it comes to software testing, bugs are the kind of thing where the more you dig, the more you'll find—it's never-ending.
At least, as long as you don't put any limits on how the software is used.

2026-08-28 14:28:40 UTC

My feelings toward art and music are complicated, but at the very least, I don't try to have AI generate them, and I consider everyone engaged in creative work on the Fediverse to be one-of-a-kind professionals.

2026-08-28 13:44:02 UTC

"White-collar workers who rely on things like AI to do their jobs will eventually lose the ability to think for themselves."
That's my father's favorite saying.

2026-08-28 13:34:50 UTC

By the way, my father's doctoral advisor was a climate change denier.
My father took a different path than his advisor and found success by acknowledging global warming and tackling it head-on.

2026-08-28 12:38:09 UTC

Even the landslides in Nepal that are on the evening news wouldn't have happened if we hadn't let unchecked global warming run wild through things like our excessive use of AI.
AI has been a technology for killing people for a long time now.

2026-08-28 12:24:52 UTC

I really don't know what AI is actually for.
The only reason we have to use AI to fix security vulnerabilities is because they were newly created by AI in the first place—they didn't exist before.
Rather than reducing work, it seems like AI is just endlessly creating more work for itself.

2026-08-28 08:17:39 UTC

Cloudflare One offers the fastest data speeds of any VPN provider I know. It delivers actual download speeds of 640 Mbps and upload speeds of 200 Mbps.

2026-08-27 07:26:19 UTC

I heard Yayoi Kusama has died. Is it true?

2026-08-26 08:36:56 UTC

Good evening, Fediverse people.
AI might look all flashy and attractive, but right now, it's a symbol of economic inequality.
You need at least $5,000 to buy a PC that can run local LLMs properly, and a $100-a-month Max plan subscription is essential if you want to "waste" ClaudeCode like it's just part of the infrastructure.
In short, it's a status symbol of an upper-middle-class lifestyle.

2026-08-25 15:10:16 UTC

No matter how much money you have, you can't save people unless you donate it or pay your taxes.
Having a $10,000 MacBook Pro with 128GB of RAM sitting in front of you doesn't make anyone happy.

2026-08-25 13:36:56 UTC

If every corner of the Tokyo metropolitan area were infested with the venom of libertarian ideology, my death from falling and hitting my head on the asphalt would be dismissed as my own personal responsibility.
Do you realize how terrifying and hollow that is?

2026-08-25 10:50:16 UTC

My dad just got home, but he brought some kind of bug back with him, so my mom is making a huge scene.
Oh. It was a cicada. I'm glad it wasn't a hornet.

2026-08-22 10:39:38 UTC

Phew. I had dinner, and now I’m able to eat normal meals instead of liquid food.

2026-08-19 10:46:34 UTC

I've actually made it back from subarachnoid hemorrhage and am doing IQ testing.
Yeah. Also, I'm posting this without any AI translators for my brain exercise.
Good evening. Hello, all, from the local city hospital lounge

2026-08-19 05:22:20 UTC

Hello, it's been a while, everyone on the Fediverse.
Actually, I fell on the street, suffered major injuries, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and was undergoing surgery.
It happened on my way home from a cafe during a break from working from home. I heard a low buzzing sound, thought it was a hornet, and tried to avoid it, but it chased me, so I ran away at full speed.
Then, my legs got tangled up and I fell headfirst while leaning forward. Because of that, I broke my upper jaw and the bone behind my eyelid.
My diagnosis is a traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage.

2026-08-13 14:47:56 UTC

The thunderstorms from summer through fall are just brutal. That's Japan in the 2020s for you. Yeah, it's a pretty recent thing.
The extreme heat isn't that big of a deal, but you can definitely say that these linear rainbands are a direct result of climate change.

2026-08-13 12:25:42 UTC

What I think when I talk about AIs is that AI is a system that will let people who spend more money beat others. It's very simple.

2026-08-11 09:14:16 UTC

It’s a beautiful night.

Of course, we logically thought, “May I ask your name?” or “Could you tell me your name?” is the proper way.

2026-08-05 08:18:58 UTC

BTW, all Japanese people had to learn English in middle school, and first we learned how to ask others for their names, such as “What is your name?”
Then we all surely thought that was too reckless and "It's not like this is a police interrogation......"

Good evening, Fediverse people.
It’s a Friday night in Tokyo, Japan.
My local town has a summer festival, and many teenagers are swarming the streets.

2026-07-29 12:21:48 UTC

Don’t have to betray them. No need to argue.

I always commute using the Odakyu Line.
When I get tired from work, I take the paid limited express train home, since I only have to commute once a week. Even if I take it every time, I only have to pay about $12 a month.
