Olympic triathlon in the books!
Finished in 2:23:30, beating my previous PR by a couple of minutes. Mostly due to a faster bike leg.
Recovering this week and then transitioning to a winter of running. Goal is to run 10K in under 40 minutes in early 2027, then HM in < 90. 🔥

Anyone I know on here has a walking pad?
I'm considering one to get some steps in while not stepping away from the computer for too long. I already have a dog walk in the morning and early afternoon, just looking to break up the sitting a bit more.
Would love to hear some experiences.

Yesterday was Koko Analytics Pro's best day yet for new sales—more licenses than the whole of last week (which was a good week).
It's encouraging to see months of steady improvements starting to show up in the numbers.
I'm still nowhere near paying myself for all the hours I've put into it, but it finally feels like the project is becoming sustainable. That's a nice milestone! 🥳

For those not using AI: this feature is a cheap no-op in case DISABLE_AI is defined or if not using any MCP adapter plugin.

I don't like talking smack about other plugins in the same space as where I'm active in, but if your plugin allows unauthenticated users complete site takeover, maybe don't bury the fix as a single line at the bottom of your changelog and call it "harden protection".
Well over 100K sites still at risk, actively being exploited.

Lijkt me toch vrij standaard werk.

@nprofile…22pz Nice work! Love to see the old school PHP approach, not overcomplicating things.
I only clicked through the code real quick but one minor thing popped out for me, the unversioned CDN version of chart.js here: https://github.com/mbootsman/remindme/blob/main/dashboard.php#L62
It could be a nice little improvement to use a specific version here to prevent having it suddenly break under you in the future.
Also, there is a "node_modules" directory in Git, but I don't think it's used? No package.json, etc.

That said, they might even be worth the couple of bucks per year each of us pays? I don't know, definitely leaning towards no, but I leave some wiggle room for being wrong.

@nprofile…gl33 I somewhat agree fundamentally, BUT:
a) That's why we have a constitutional monarchy. The royal family taking up symbolic positions is exactly how they can still be useful for the benefit of our country.
b) Why is the IOC deeply problematic? Honest question, I've never heard of them before last week.
c) I agree that in an ideal world there would be no need for military, but how do you propose we deal with, for example, Russia whilst the USA is not to be relied upon?

Mother in law in a mild panic because Microsoft staff in physical store warned her that Windows 10 would no longer be supported in a few months. Asked me for help.
Apparently Microsoft forces everyone on Windows 11 which you can only run if your device has a certain TPM chip.
If your device doesn't have that chip, you have 3 options:
- Purchase a new device
- Pay for using Windows 11 on a virtual machine in their cloud
- Pay for Extended Security Updates which costs $427 for 3 years.
WTF.

I'm currently only selling licenses for Koko Analytics Pro in EUR because of simplicity (code, tax, pricing). Do you think that scares off potential non-EU based customers?
I know EU people are very used to paying for "internet stuff" in USD, but the other way around is probably a lot less common. Problem? Or not?

Experimental standalone version of Koko Analytics on top of a barebones Symfony framework is coming along nicely!
Makes it pretty obvious how slow even my local lean WordPress installation is though. Generating the dashboard HTML on a similar sized dataset takes 500 ms and 14 MB of RAM through the WordPress backend versus < 10 ms and < 1 MB of RAM through Symfony...
