Walkers Max or the M&S reimagination of chipsticks both have that effect on me

Seems interesting, you've done a pile of stuff!
Is there anything I can do in debian hamradio that more generally *would* make life a little easier? We can always take new packages in, got some enthusiastic new faces this year!

when you say distro mess, what do you mean?
Is this a Debian issue that I can actually fix?

Making soup also had some incidental burns and a hilarious blender scene which involved me cleaning a wall.
Skills are a little rough it seems.

First soup of the winter, carrot and coriander.
What should I make next week?

it’s not my first time, admittedly, but it’s the first time in anger as I try to make a point as the Director of Stuff™️

I unironically used “stakeholders” in an email this week and I’ve spent time since thinking about what I’ve become.

hey #cycling fedi, is there a free software / less likely to be enshittified alternative to Komoot now it's subscription based for exporting routes as GPX or to devices?
I have a few friends use it because I've mentioned that it plays nicely in the #openstreetmap universe and now that there's a subscription, I'd like to be able to recommend something a little more free software friendly!
(subscription news is at https://road.cc/content/news/subscription-required-send-komoot-routes-device-312973 )

That said, in news from the 'making the best of a bad situation' department I've been using KMail and Kleopatra and it makes gpg email and keyring management for my various debian things a fucktonne simpler, so props to team @npub1ncy…3x0q for making something comparatively usable!

In bad news, the PGP madness will never end :(
I'm a Debian Developer and it's our key tool for nearly everything. New password? Send a GPG signed message, get a GPG encrypted reply.
Uploading to the archive? Sign the source with gpg then push. The new hotness we've been arguing over is gpg signing git commits as a method of release 😬 .
To become a DD, you need 2 signatures on your key from active DDs, because ~web of trust~.
My key expired in September and until I uploaded an extended version (and then keyring team accepted it) I was locked out of contributing. It lasted for a month.
My statement on GPG at a recent debconf was "It's a fucking nightmare" and got general agreement from a lot of project veterans.
In short:
aaaaAAAAAAAAAAA
