and once again, see you 👋

2026-09-09 06:02:15 UTC

It had been such a long time that it took quite a while for my latest post to appear to the client. This was a new discovery—and not a particularly welcome one 😂

I like this protocol itsself.
But if there's an opportunity, I hope to see you again someday, somewhere.

I deleted Damus from my iPhone, which was a good opportunity as it was using up a lot of storage.
And I'll probably delete the client I use for this key soon too.

Tomorrow is my first part-time job of the new year, but it seems like a big cold wave is coming, so I'm checking the bus timetable just to be sure 😞

I used to be bound by stereotypes about careers, but now I think it's okay to just try anything.

2025-12-31 13:17:55 UTC

Next month I will be working part-time in another role, which will give me the opportunity to experience every section of the workplace, making it a sort of grand slam achievement.

The kinton (sweet sweet potato paste) and red and white pickled vegetables are already complete. The black beans will be ready once they're cooked. The nisime (simmered root vegetables) is the most difficult part. Each ingredient needs to be prepared separately and then seasoned to create a complete dish...

2025-12-30 06:34:40 UTC

I'm currently preparing some New Year's dishes. They're quite time-consuming and I'm already starting to get bored of them.

A world where we don't have to deal with the selfish IE6.

2025-12-14 16:23:22 UTC

Things that were difficult in the past are becoming easier and easier. I've been around since the days of table layout, so I'm very impressed.

2025-12-14 16:20:24 UTC

I think CSS is fun.

2025-12-14 16:19:06 UTC

Regardless of the community, people from all over the world reach out to me and we are able to help in various ways, so it's not a problem.

2025-12-14 16:15:44 UTC

I've gradually distanced myself from the community ever since I saw a conversation some time ago where it was said that my emoji work did not fall under the JP community's examples. The emoji designs themselves were already in existence, but I thought I was helping developers by hosting a set and providing shortcodes, JSON files, an introduction page, and so on. It was a while ago, but it still makes me sad when I think about it.

2025-12-14 15:38:34 UTC

But my sleepiness is reaching its limit 😪

2025-12-14 15:36:37 UTC

I took a short break and am now working on a contract job creating a web page. Today I'm borrowing my husband's room to work in. I can use the external display in his room, so it's very convenient.

It goes without saying that exchanging data via USB memory is a hassle to begin with... 😩

2025-11-26 11:10:36 UTC

I need to go to bed soon. Tomorrow I'll finally be carrying my MacBook Pro to my part-time job and doing desk work instead of serving hospital meals or washing dishes. Thinking about it calmly, it's a bit weird after all 😅

2025-11-24 09:20:33 UTC

2025-11-24 07:07:10 UTC

Today I have a slight pain around my right shoulder blade. It's a remnant of a traffic accident I had three years ago 😞

2025-11-24 05:53:09 UTC

I'm preparing a document for technical intern trainees. It's very difficult to write it in accordance with the theory of "Yasashii Nihongo" (plain Japanese that is easy for foreigners to understand). It really makes me realize how tricky high-context Japanese expressions are 😅

2025-11-24 04:02:21 UTC

The hardest part about meal preparation is patiently watching my kids cook and trying not to interfere too much.

I believe that there is a compatibility between the author and the reader when it comes to reading. By the way, the book I'm reading now is very stressful for me. The structure of the author's writing doesn't sit well with me 😇

2025-11-23 11:57:55 UTC

When I think back on those experiences, I realize how far I've come...

2025-11-23 11:55:52 UTC

Japanese does not have spaces between words, so the longer the text, the less legible it becomes. Furthermore, in client layouts that specialize in short sentences, the number of lines increases, making it even more difficult for the eye to follow.

When English sentences are translated automatically, emojis sometimes end up in strange positions. I just realized that this may be because I'm trying to express an emotion at the end of a sentence, but the translation engine is treating the emoji as a single word 🤔
