Disagree, this will be an effective deterrent, especially for zoomers that tend to have grown up online and not have great face-to-face social skills, especially since we're talking about the UK, which does not have any meaningful free speech protections.

Oh no, we've come full circle lol. I joined Gleasonator from Gab, part of the reason was for better fedi compatibility.

If you're not on Gleasonator and you can see this can you reply or react? Apparently federation might not be working properly.

Seriously, who does Trump have on his team? This almost sounds like it was written by a GC fem
"Consistent with the military mission and longstanding DoD policy, expressing a false “gender identity” divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service. Beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life. A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member."

Would be interesting to see what happens to the CS market with no H1B competition, but I think it would still be rough for people trying to break in. LLMs are able to do a lot of the work that juniors used to do (generating crap code that the seniors can review and fix)

There are a bunch of vids. To be honest I doubt it's Fuentes, probably some dude that just vaguely looks like him.
To be clear it is 100% plausible to me that Fuentes is a closeted gay dude, but if he is, I doubt he's gonna risk blowing his cover banging a high-profile lib like Steven

It's looking likely that Trump winds up with 313 electoral votes, +- 1 since we have a couple of states that aren't winner-take-all.
Not only did he win, he won by a larger margin than 2016, where he got 302. He's also ahead on the popular vote by a decent margin, currently 3.5 points, which wasn't the case in 2016, when he lost the popular vote.
Overall, solid result, about as good as could have been hoped for given the polling. And amusingly, this almost perfectly matches up with 538's projection (attached) for what would happen if Trump outperformed the polls by 4 points, which was a scenario they considered since that was roughly the case in both 2016 and 2020.

Trump v. Harris, what's the delegate split?
Remember, 538 delegates in total, you need 270 to win
