We throw toys down hallways when the younger dog needs exercise. (No stairs!)

We took advantage of various sales, discounts, bundles, and coupons in November and replaced our appliances. (Needed to do it now in case I have to retire next year.)
So we now have an induction range and oven, fridge, microwave (over the oven! So much easier to use), dishwasher, and all-in-one washing machine and dryer.
I've spent a lot of time reading instructions 🤣

Cheat for those who have issues cutting squash to bake it...
Put the whole squash in a low oven (250F). It takes two-to-three hours, depending on the size. When you take it out, it's much easier to cut, scoop out the sides, and scoop out the flesh 🙂

In the US, many doctors won't tie tubes or do a hysterectomy without the the husband's or partner's permission.

I haven't talked to any OB/GYNs lately (I went through medical menopause in 2004), but the impression I'm getting is not that the doctors want to dismiss patient symptoms but that they don't want to go to jail. The laws are written so poorly that they have to wait until women are almost dead to provide care...and, as we've seen, in many cases that's just too late.

After sleeping eight hours last night and taking a two-hour nap (I might have been tired?), my to-do list is still a bit long.
But I've got veggies to prep for soup, which I can do sitting down, so I can make the soup tomorrow.
I harvested the eggs (just over two dozen) from the Easter Egg plant that's in the front yard. I kept those that are light, medium, and dark yellow, and we threw away those that are still white. (We definitely have enough seeds!)

I gotta tell you, medical stuff sucks.
My husband and I both have BCBS and Medicare Part A. It's now a guarantee that I will have at least one, if not two, discussions on my "secondary" insurance every month...that doesn't exist because I don't have Part B.
And I was thinking of washing my hair in the sink (much easier now that I cut it) and doing a sponge bath, instead of using cling wrap.

Nurse from the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) showed up yesterday to train us on how to use the PleurX to drain my lung. Apart from her not remembering all the steps and putting on the bandage that covers the PleurX incorrectly, it went well.
Mostly. <sigh >
When I get the stitch removed on Thursday, I'll ask them to replace the bandage so that they can remove the extra bandaids we added to seal it.
I'm a bit nervous about taking a shower, given that it's not supposed to get wet.

As someone with a donated kidney, I can tell you that corpses have more bodily autonomy than women living in states with disastrous abortion laws.
Women are being forced to carry dead fetuses, sometimes until they themselves die. No one can forcefully take an organ from a corpse, no matter how many people might be saved.
