@nprofile…zx3a it does look stylish, but I really can't justify the expense when I already have a PC which does the same job. Especially with those prices 🙈
The timing on the release was kind of unfortunate but I really want Valve to succeed with this as an alternative to consoles like the PS. Hope it lives up to your expectations.

i think its definitely do-able, but it would be more convenient and a higher incentive if it were otherwise. If I ever get another car it will also be a an electric one, even if the conditions are not perfect.

@nprofile…zx3a I grew up in a small town where you couldn't get anything done without a car, so I know the feeling. But in my current situation the car was parking in the garage 99,5% of the time, just costing money and rusting away. So it was a no-brainer. And since I rent and can't use PV to charge a car, that's not a good alternative either. So public transport and bike it is 😅

@nprofile…zx3a I am absolutely not a car guy (even though my dad was a mechanic), so I can relate. I hated having to go to repair shops and I don't regret selling my car and living without that hassle even one bit (yes, I know that's a privilege only people in cities with good infrastructure have, but still...)

@nprofile…zx3a fair enough. but on a related note: my grandfather had a car that was built in the year that I was born. And I bet the way he maintained it, it would still run today. Sadly, the relative who got the car after his death wrecked it shortly after, so we'll never know...

And sure enough, it delivered a two page pdf. But instead of adding more information, it simply put in a page break after two paragraphs and put the rest of the text on the second page. So now I have two half filled pages and the certainty, that Skynet is still quite a bit away... #AI (2/2)

Every once in a while I test ChatGPT & Co to see if they are still useless and how much they are hallucinating. But today #ChatGPT really pulled a galaxy brain move on me.
I asked it to summarize a current debate and give an overview on the different positions. And after that I asked for a two page memo of what it had just answered. It delivered a memo, but only a one-page one, so I told it that I asked for a two-page memo; simply because I wanted to see how much it would include then. (1/2)
