Trump said on social media that he ~"will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef to be imported into the #USA w/ lower #tariffs over the next 90 days."
And get this — he will ORDER those imports to be sold at a 25% discount of market prices (undercutting the US market).

Of course it did!
#Trump did not say where the beef would come from, where it would be sold or how it would be discounted...

• In 2026 so far, collective amount (minus Microsoft) is >$200 billion

Alcatraz is now a national park, bringing in upwards of $60 million dollars in revenue annually, per the National Park Service.
Closing it for tourism would also damage the local economy and cause hundreds in the local community to lose their income.

Alcatraz:
• Was "nearly three times more expensive to operate" in the 1950s & early 1960s than any other federal prison
• Has no fresh water source
• Requires food, supplies, and water to be transported to it by boat
• Requires extensive, expensive repair to be run as a prison

I don't know if the person #ICE shot in the leg was here illegally or if he was Venezuelan or if he and a couple of other people actually "attacked" ICE agents with broom handles and a shovel.
I do know that is what the #Trump admin claims.
I also know that I have seen them lie on many occasions, so I'm trying to figure out the truth.

Apparently Trump was "simply joking" about cancelling midterm elections.*
Funny how he keeps joking about that.

Vance yelling at people (at today's WH press briefing) and telling them to disregard the things they saw in the videos and instead see what *they* (Vance, Trump, Noem, etc.) say happened really seems like it will calm tensions a bunch 🙄

Re: the news today —
It's clear that some think that when #Trump said the US would "run" Venezuela, the #USA would govern that country.
However, the admin doesn't intend to govern at all. Sec. of State Rubio clarified* that the #US will run "policy" in #Venezuela , specifically referring to #energy and other areas THAT ARE STRATEGIC TO THEM.
They are NOT there to facilitate the day-to-day things that make a country run for its people (aka govern).

You can’t have an explicitly “high risk” health insurance pool without explicitly high premiums to go along with it.
(Re: Republicans’ idea to throw a wee bit of money at healthier people to create Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSAs) for themselves while people with chronic/serious health conditions are put into a “high risk” health insurance pool 🥴)
