Them: There’s something wrong with my dog’s leg. We were walking and he yelped and is whining when I touch it and he won’t put his foot down.
Me: Ok, I’ve got an appointment available at 10:15am, how’s that?
Them: Yes, I can make that.
Me: Great, we’ll get that checked out, which leg is it?
Them: (takes a minute, looking at dog apparently - I can hear whining) Right.
Me: Front or back?
Them: (takes another minute) Front.
Me: Ok, which part, paw, wrist elbow, shoulder?
Them: What? It’s his leg.
Me: (screaming internally) Yep, foreleg, paw, wrists, elbow, or shoul…
Them: (interrupting, voice raised) IT’S A LEG.
Me: Yep, it’s a le…
Them: (interrupting again) IT’S HIS KNEE!
Me: (internally jfc - fills in ‘FR Elbow ‘) Ok, no problem, that’s you booked in and the vet’ll see you at 10:15.
Them: IT’S A LEG! (slams down phone)
I think about this sometimes 😬

What an incredible job the Lego people have done. Even better to know that my friends at Lego were the ones that got this set going on the first place and it was in the hands of some of Lego’s best and brightest. You’ve made this Trekkie’s millennium.

My goodness, I am back in Reason remastering old tracks. OMFG it is no Bitwig Studio, but it’s the DAW that I started in back in the day.
Yeah there’s a ‘Best of Synaptyx [Remastered 2025]’ coming, but it’ll be a while. I’m just figuring out the best way to do it. I’m thinking get the stems out of Reason and master in Bitwig, but it’s kind of fun exercising the old Reason muscle memories, idk, we’ll see how it shakes out.

Hey fam, so I got finished adding my music to Mirlo, so everything is now on both Bandcamp and Mirlo. I much prefer Mirlo’s upload model that let me dump whole albums into the uploader at once instead of track at a time or pay to batch upload like Bandcamp has. Obviously I have a following on Bandcamp and absolutely zero on Mirlo, but I’ll continue to upload to both and you can choose where you go to stream/buy. Thanks for your support and patience!
