there doesn't have to be a "good" side in a conflict... both can be asses....
but if you are thinking of celebrating the US intervention in Venezuela think again...

thanks for the link... but this should apply to the label of the product, not to the ingredients...?
I know sour cream is not the same as "cream" .. but the ingredients of the sour cream just make more confusing that the butter says "cream (milk)"

i understand the point you make about coconut or margarine..
but why put cream if the source ingredient is milk
Ingredients: milk
should then have been enough.

2025-08-18 16:57:32 UTC

This is .. confusing...
Butter sticks, whose only ingredient is creme... that is actually milk...

is not a complaint... in the lottery of climate change, rain and cold are better outcomes than dry and hot.

¿does in rains more than in London? -- and ¿more than in Vancouver?
I saw this image of Europe online... and thought about comparing with Vancouver
even compared with a rainforest city like Quito 🇪🇨 ... Vancouver is the Queen of Rain 🇨🇦 🍁 🌧️

It's clear that 🟠 NDP Canadians (the leftest main party) made a sacrifice, and did what it was needed to be done to avoid a 🔵 Conservative government. It's incredible the change of the vote intention, and it's clear that the usually divided left got together to avoid a Prime Minister that would "work on the side of the current government of the US"
It's also clear that urban #Canada is progressive and lefty... and the farmers are not... #Vancouver is now a 🔴 Liberal city.

The salt on the sidewalk:
(thing I learned when I moved from Mexico)
Snow is not slippery, ice is. More dangerous to walk than the snow days are the days that are close to 0C/32F, when an ice layer can form over the sidewalk... salt is used to avoid this... the salt is coloured, so that who is spreading it sees how much it is putting... and then the salt sticks to the shoes... and that's why in #Canada shoes are removed when you enter home... because of the mud, the snow, the salt...

How does #capitalism work?
1. Pay TV is invented, you have to pay something but there are no ads, the programs are of better quality and they show new movies
2. Pay TV starts to have ads, and the programs and movies are no longer different
3. Streaming is invented; you choose what to watch without ads.
4. Streaming price goes up, not everything is available for the cheapest package, and now it has ads...
See a pattern?
