Your friendly neighbourhood baldy beardy weirdo. That's what happens when you order your Ming the Merciless from TEMU.

I'm into techy things, retro & modern gaming, particularly Zelda & Valheim; drones; rollercoasters; oh and I wear latex and leather rather a lot.

Musically prog rock & metal is where it's at for me, but I'm very eclectic. I play bass.

A couple of photos of me from last night's gig. Looking rather fine even if I do say so myself.

Well that was an interesting comment - and ironically the person who made it to me thought I'd be offended. Well, I think it upset him when he realised I wasn't.
On Wednesday's Eclipse event (the one attended by over 100 people) there was a gay couple there. One of our members overhead one of them referring to me as "the hottie with the piercings"
Well as you can imagine when the member told me he was chuckling like he'd done something really funny - until it all backfired when I said "oh yeah I remember those two, cute couple - I've seen them on the fetish scene before - I think they're both into pup play"
(I hadn't, but it absolutely derailed him and left him staring at the floor).
Yes, sorry, to certain people I'm a bit of a hottie (I am fully aware I emit huge daddy-dom vibes and the fact that a straight ally can be so confident and open about his complete support for the #LGBTQ community and passion for #fetish is somewhat of an eye opener for many).
Anyway, my rainbow friends, I'm always here for you and I've got your back. Keep up the good work and I'll mark you out of 10 - and I can assure you it's pretty much always a 10.

The #leather tiny planet.
I can't wait to do a latex version of this! Yeah these videos are very much a one trick pony for the drone, but they do rely on a hell of a lot of technology to create and process and they are created entirely in the drone itself.

Someone on site yesterday went off on a rant about how gay people "made a life choice" to be gay and should be locked up and only released once they're straight again.
I immediately shut the absolute half-wit up.
"Do you think anyone would choose a lifestyle like that in a world where there's dickheads like you who quite literally would have them locked up and countries where they could be executed? Do you think anyone would make a life choice to be oppressed and bullied through school because they were a little different?"
Every single homosexual person I know has been bullied at some point because they were gay. Even just a simple snide remark. It needs to stop.
Homosexually is genetic. You ain't changing that.
I've reported him to site management.

1980's computer game maps always fascinated me. I regularly used to draw them myself when I was playing a game.
One game, however, was very difficult to map. It was a game called Fantastic Voyage published by Quicksilva.
Just look at the map and you'll see why - there are many wrap around passages and jumps from one room to another; plus a few rooms look the same.
Yes that is supposed to be a human body - I don't think they did a bad job to be honest; although calling the room Duodenal rather than Duodenum always annoyed me.

an amusing method to find out who sold/leaked your data is (provided your email hosting supports it) to use a global forward from one of my domains. All emails hitting any address there are forwarded and then filtered for spam.
I can then give shops a personalised email address (such as Argos@ or Currys@ ) so I know the source of the leak.

Just getting this out there. I've had a few DM's now about this image and reuse (you very polite copyright respecting people)
I created it (it's a title card from my stream) using downloaded assets but in compliance with their licenses although correct me if I'm wrong.
I absolutely do not mind anyone using it for any purpose if it's boosting awareness of the Fediverse.

no it doesn't. Galactic interactions are such a huge scale event that from a planetary point of view you'll just have a very busy sky full of nebulae and stars - but your nearest stars are still unlikely to be closer than about 2 light years which would cause virtually no influence at all on your planet and it's systems

2026-02-20 06:42:18 UTC

Good morning Fediverse.
What you gonna achieve today?

I regularly cover 100-150 miles a day and have absolutely no range anxiety at all, however, if you can't charge at home an EV is not the choice for you. Consider a PHEV or HEV instead.
Without home charging EVs aren't cheap to run. With it and a good dual tariff contract on the other hand, it's the future.

2026-02-09 11:00:19 UTC

The big problem with EV ownership isn't actually the number of chargers, it's the dickheads who think they can just park in them without charging.
That includes other EV and PHEV owners who need to show some fucking manners (I might add some of them are the most entitled pricks on the planet).
The one I'm at has two chargers, there's a Toyota PHEV parked in one of them. No sign of a cable plugged in. It's not like the carpark is full either.

#Melania the movie has sold SEVEN tickets in the UK on a £35,000,000 advertising budget. That's five million pounds advertising per ticket!
Most of the time I think my country is scummy, but on this occasion we got the assignment and understood.
Meanwhile FIFA created a new set of movie awards and the movie is getting all of them.

not when every house bought under right to buy is replaced with new stock.
1. It gives people who couldn't normally buy a house the chance to buy a house and actually own their property.
2. All the rent they've paid for decades is taken into account, so it no longer becomes dead money.
3. It removes older stock from the market to be replaced with newer stock for new tenants.
4. Owners will tend to have more pride in things they own and it can bring run down areas up.
The problem with right to buy is all the stock was bought up and not replaced because it was badly implemented.
Also unfortunately the bad side effect is that the slum areas saw nobody wanting to buy the houses - hence the clearance projects to demolish them and rebuild better housing. In some cases the clearance bit happened, but the rebuild didn't

mostly landlordism. Rent is dead money. Right to buy was a great idea just badly implemented and full of corrupt people using it for personal gain. See landlord.

RE: https://zirk.us/@ChrisMayLA6/115830275867691351
I recently turned an anti vaxxer who called the COVID vaccine a clot shot into someone who decided to go and get vaccinated using a very simple argument. Feel free to use it:
1. Vaccines are made by drug companies.
2. Drug companies make most of their money off the elderly as ageing populations require more care.
3. Why would you kill off your customers before they become the most profitable to you?
They've now had all their COVID vaccines.
Ironic too that we were all supposed to be dead by new year's eve.
