I finally manages to order the author copies. (:
One of each version of my comic stays with me, and one of each goes to the National Finnish Library (once they arrive).
I don't sell them directly myself, since the shipping costs and amount of work that takes is too much for me to handle.

I managed to edit the Urban Fantasy story for about 30 minutes today. (: It isn't much, but I had fun despite my brain aching.

I fell asleep so hard I forgot to take my evening medicine, woke myself reazing it, forgot to turn my watch off and then it woke me too - which resulted in wicked nightmares...
My heart aches with made-up grief.
I am tried and meds have worn off.
Not a great second start for the day...

I just had a game meeting with my game dev/coder buddy, and the game is actually getting its bones up from the ground now. (:
We have lots to do, and need to streamline our process a bit more, but it is growing! <3
If you want to support our little Horror point-and-click game, please go support my game developer friend @MisWiredKE at his kofi:

Please share so he can keep the lights (and laptop) on! <3

I managed to edit a bit of my Urban Fantasy book today and it felt so good to go back to the beginning. (: I started this project ages and ages ago, but the writing stil holds well, and doesn't need insane amounts of edits. Just some smoother transitions, tightening of sentences, etc. <3
I smiled, I laughed, and felt like I can actually finish this thing one day. :D

Another proof of fascists in Finland's current government. They have already taken so much yet want to make things even worse under the guise of debt.
Every cut to social security weakens the economy. Every tax cut to the rich weakens it doubly so. They are trying so hard to ruin this country to stay in power, or to gain the maximum "pension" (it is theft, these guys should get NOTHING after office and be forced to normal work!!!).

Today was exhausting. I had to nap before I could even start working, so all I did was the map today. Doubt I have any more in me.
But the map is shaping up really nicely. <3

I watched "Below" with my partner and what I carry out of that experince is that I want to put the phrace, "You are the BEST kind," into my writing.
The way the people talked was new to my ears, but I loved all of the turns of phrace a lot. (I just woke up so it slips from my mind was it Irish, Scottish, or Welsh - sorry, I am finnish and half asleep still)

I forgot to sync my watch and it woke me in the wrong time thanks to the winter time starting today. I do prefer the winter hours, but the swap sucks (mainly because remembering to manually change the time in clocks on the wall gets annoying and I sometimes forget).
As a time-blind person, I think we should just stick to single time. I vote for the winter one. :P

An endearing finnish thing:
When someone is struggling, we don't wish them "thoughts and prayers" (tho some religious finns will happily pray for you), but we wish them "powers" (voimia).
And I like to imagine them as the powers of the forest, the wind, the deepest lakes, and forgotten secrets hued into the rock by our ancient kin. The spirits reach to give you their strenght, the veil is thin, the old songs lend you aid.
We wish you powers on these tough times.

Today I managed to send important papers, answer to an important call (thanks to my Boo), did a youtube community post, kofi blogpost and ComicFury blogpost, shared comics to CF, worked on the client fantasy map (I got distracted and solved an issue I had with the work I did last week), and did a tiny bit of my own cover too.
A good day, I wish I could paint more but supper awaits. <3

I just used salt infused water (boiled, cooled) to clear out my nasal cavities, and it feels like it flowed into my ear canal instead. This has never happened before, and it still hurts.
I have chronic pain in that ear already, but this felt like a stab, and now a dull ache. Some of the trapped water came out already, but it still hurts.
When I tilt my head, water leaks out...so I am definitely talking to a doctor about this next time...

Used my burned brain noodles to work on Maple Street 1 cover, and guys, it finally clicked. It will look really cool. (: And it is also probably like...50 more hours of work or so. :P
Now I will have some lunch, a well deserved nap, and maybe I do more later, if this migraine has gone away.

2026-10-22 09:24:34 UTC

Two calls, one updated job search, and bonus "hey I am looking for a job and this is what I can do!"-thing later I feel burned out.
Also I wont trust my phone anymore. It filtering important calls as SPAM without me even turning that thing on is WILD. (It could also be getting old and glitchy...) And it just cost me at least a day of unemployment pay.
Brain is a buZZING. And I will try to do...something.

2026-10-22 05:40:39 UTC

One thing I full blown hate about my ADHD brain - it tries to convince me I can do more than is in the realm of reality.
Beyond the "my plate is full, I can NOT add more to it before something is finished" it also suggest absolutely insane things like "hey go back to goldsmith school even though it has been like 10 years, you'd need another debt to top the old one you still pay for, would need to repeat the classes you did, and are still disabled the same way".

Sometimes I wish I had a radio alarm clock. Waking up to music sounds fun to me, and I uses to use music to get myself to stay awake against waves of debilitating sleep inertia.
But it would also wake my partner up...

2026-10-21 08:20:49 UTC

I am over 30 and somehow managed to have a stressfull school dream where I went there late, had misses a test, and had to do it after hours while battling severe sleep inertia and kept falling asleep during it. I was also unable to understand the questions, as the sentences garbled and shifted...
Btw, I never missed school, and only once missed a test. My life in fostercare was extrememy regimented, and punishments kept me from straying like that.
Man sleep inertia dreams suck sometimes...

Finally I can share some good news: Against ALL odds, our rent did NOT rise this time!!
It has risen already twice, and is more than "allowed" for socual security, and if it had risen third time they would have forced us to move asap (we prepared for that outcome).
Now we have some breathing room to sell useless things, recycle things bit by bit, and try to save up for movers, and find an actually good apartment we can live in for longer than a couple of years. <3 :D

Question to Tolkien fans:
Do you actively remember how many poems and songs Lord of the Rings includes?
Because not ONCE had ANYONE EVER mentioned to me that there WERE songs when I was recommended this book over and over again.
So now that I am going through them with my partner, it is WILD how nobody ever mentions them.
Or the ent chanpters.

2026-10-15 12:53:47 UTC

I worked a bit lighter day today (still recovering from yesterday's shopping while fighting waves of sleep and jaw-cracking yawns) but I did get this week's comic colored (out tomorrow to Kofi and ComicFury), accounting, paid a couple of bills, and continued the map despite my carpal tunnel issue being clearly worse resently...
I will be back with the comic announcement tomorrow, tiny Youtube reel to my channel, and hopefully some other work as well. (:

2026-10-13 10:26:09 UTC

Alright, Charity has now a new blurb, will be coming out this Friday (if Kobo processes it on time, their site says that they have some delays), I have sent a copy to reviewer, fixed a glaring issue in Smell Complaint (all places have been updated now, the old files you may have bought should be updated automatically, I am so sorry for the huge dyslexia moment there), and now I will move onto inking my comic. (:
Brain is getting a bit frazzled but art calls!

2026-10-12 16:46:09 UTC

Alright, I have decided that ComicFury is the way to go, so I started setting things up there and will share the link once it doesn't look like a massive mess anymore, and I have at least the 3-panel comics up there. (I should be done with that by Friday, when I do the announcement in Tapas too).
Logging off now because I skipped my nap, and my brain is scrambled eggs. <3

2026-10-12 13:10:32 UTC

I spent good 4ish hours working on the map commission. Lots of shading and more trees. (: So so many trees. <3
I hope to do a tiny bit more work later, but it might not happen since I'm getting exhausted, and my right hand carpal tunnel issue is rather annoying. (^_^)*

2026-10-12 09:33:58 UTC

Comic sketch and early announcement sketch for my comic followers, and kofi supporters. <3 A single donation gives you access to this supporters-only content and helps me keep up with the comic!
https://ko-fi.com/i/IB7R828NND0
I will be able to make only one comic this month due to the comic needing to move away from Tapas, and me not having enough energy to do the move, and add more comics on top of it all.
Thank you for your patience.

Maple Street 2 chapters are now down in ellipsus, and I changed the ending one more time - and now I am happy with all of the threads that lead to the **********.
(I won't spoil it. :P)
The last ending was a bit more dark, and that is not the theme of these stories. (That is reserved for other things I am writing)
I can start writing this down when I have started editing the Urban Fantasy and need a breather between the long chapters. (:

2026-10-10 17:26:36 UTC

Well I just spent couple hours writing Maple Street 2 chapter plan down to ellipsus. The story has become a sprinckle more gay, slightly more dark, and there are only 3 more chapters to write out but my brain is exhausted. (^_^)*

2026-10-09 19:07:04 UTC

Today was dominated by exhaustion but I managed to do youtube community post (video should be coming next week), kofi blogpost (charity eBook is also coming out next week), and started putting Maple Street 2 chapters down to ellipsus so I can start writing it out. (:
This week did not go as planned, but hopefully next week will go a bit better. <3

Today I did one more shop item (there is now 3 approved ones), did shop plan overview, contacted my video editor (the little video is almost ready! Just tiniest tweak left!), noted down my chapters titles for Maple Street 2 in ellipsus, and did some sketching for 2 of my book covers.
That's enough for today, even though it somehow feels like not enough...

I just wish my right ear wasn't having another ear infection again... But I guess it is from me not getting enough rest lately and my immune system reminding me that I am still immune compromised and should not fuck with my sleep schedule...
Wish me luck~

Hei kaipaako kukaan Päijät-Hämeessä (tai miksei kauempaakin, jos vaan jaksatte hakea) vintage mannekiinia?
Hyvässä kunnossa vanhaksi malliksi, hyvään kotiin. 40€. Signalin kautta saa osoiteen.
Myyn sydän syrjällä, koska muutto tulossa, ja tavaraa pitää saada vähennettyä...
Jaathan tämän, että löytyisi ostaja. <3
Kiitos!

So Tapas is going to go out of service for some reason next year and I will need to move my entire 180(+) episodes to some other comic, anti-AI space with their long descriptions without loosing all of my readers....
And here I thought my worst online sharing challenges was moving away from Pixelfed...and translating my website somehow, and moving away from Google Docs...
Things keep piling up, and I am just...so fed up.

I started making environment animations for my pixel art point-and-click game yesterday. I have not done much animation before, and never anything environmental, so it is a fun process to learn. (: I spent hours beding some grass for wind. :P
I will try to have a video of the movement in my youtube channel next month or so. <3

2026-10-03 07:37:37 UTC

I hate it when I get the itch to go translate my works from finnish to english, or vice versa, when I am already drowning to so many projects. (*_*)
I have a big commission, old book's new release, other old book to review and refresh (+cover), new book's chapter plan details to hone, other new book's edits to start, videogame, bi-weekly comic, now also blogposts in kofi, youtube channel with shorts with monthly vid and weekly community post, marketing my books, and mending projects waiting...

2026-10-03 07:33:41 UTC

Can someone recommend me a space in fedi where you can post images, video, and longer texts, is safe for LGBTQAI+, has good moderators, and doesn't allow GenAI?
Like pixelfed, but not shit? (:
(I need to move my pixelfed to somewhere else and manually pull all of my images out of there, and write all nee ALT texts because the app sucks now even more...)
#askFedi #FediHelp #Mastodon

2026-10-03 07:24:59 UTC

I just checked my Pixelfed account and turns out all of my ALT texts are gone from the app??
So I need to not only move all of the pictures here (or other instance - I take recommendations), but also write the ALT texts again that take me forever to do what comes to the comics????
Oh fuck you, whatever was that damn dev's name who sold out to AI bullshit.
Doing this will take forever. (=_=)

New comic is up - by a pure miracle because I am absolutely crashed (no blogposts or youtube community post this week guys, I just can't) - so go read it from my tapas, kofi, or buy VOL1 if you like reading them as hardback or paperback versions!
Please share, and thank you. <3

Day started in a highly unusual way, so now I am absolutely drained and probably need to have an early nap so I can get some work done later...
Don't screw with your disabilities, folks.
I avoided my nap for 3 days in a row and now I am definitely paying for that... (though I had to do that, or miss our an opportunity to get a new table which we really needed since our old one moved address without us :P)
I will try again after I have restarted the day. (:

2026-09-30 13:41:57 UTC

Today is my third day in a row not taking a nap (an unfortunate must) and my left eye keeps twitching [👁👁] we are playing the "which extreme exhaustion symptom will you get now"-bingo today~! :D

2026-09-30 13:38:27 UTC

I have planned over THOUSAND TREES for this fantasy map I am making for my current client. Each hand drawn, planned by type, region, and snow amount.
I am also doing versions I haven't made in alrge scale before so this map will really test how many youtube videos I can listen to while working (and will I run out of interesting stuff). :P
Putting individual attention to each tree is like meditation, and my pulse agrees (it keeps dipping to lower 40's...). (^_^)*

Comic sketch is now up for my kofi supporters (one time or mothly). (: Something simple, though I feel like I will manage to make the inking stage a lot more complicated.... :P
If you want to see what's hidden, all you need to do is drop a single kofi to my way, and you can see all of the bi-weekly sketches. (:

It is RELEASE DAY and I will be sharing my little horror short story today in my kofi blogpost, and here, while I also figure out what to do with my pixelfed...
Is it possible to do the uh, the moving to another instance with the pictures already all fine? Because doing the sharing and the ALT texts took me forever, and I would not want to do it again. (TT_TT) Unless I just copy paste them here bit by bit and then delete the pixelfed account...

I really should just stock up on fR00SH and see how many days I could chug it and extend my time without taking a nap... And whether it would be detrimental for my liver. (^_^)*
With the combo of being on T, migraines turned into once-in-a-while events, no more Blood Moon, and fR00SH (energy drink btw) I have had so many more hours in my days to appreciate and fill with things.
I am still not able to do normal job, but I would like to up my art and writing game. (:

2026-09-26 13:14:17 UTC

I have been so much happier (not that I was unhappy, just...more stressed and felt unfullfilled) when I finally managed to get some time to writing, plotting, and progressing my book things (formatting, covers, editing etc.).
Writing is so big part of me, and has been since I leaned to do it, that whenever I have long bouts of not being able to...it really takes a toll.
I can't lett hat happen again.

I finished the Pacific Drive story parts and can whole heartedly recommend this game for all lot goblins out there who can take a bit of stress, and heartache. <3

I just spent so long time making sure my game script is correct, and all assets are marked right that I somehow ended up starting a voice acting/sound script far before it becomes important... (^_^)*
I'm not sure if I want to narrate it myself, even though the main horror story in my point-and-click game is based on something I really experienced as a kid.

The fact that I get a tiny bit of money from my books now is so strange to me. Like someone is...reading them? Someone bought my comic? My short story? Something I made?
I appreciate every single sale. <3
And I promise to bring more books to the table, especially after I am done with the refresh.
I just needed to uh, spread the work out a bit so I don't burn out. (^_^)*

I am happy to announce that I have now fully moved all of my bookmarks away from google and am fully using Vivaldi as my browser. (: I do still need to work on moving and triple-quantriple checking my old google drives that I have everything secured elsewhere before clearing them out.
(Mind you - I have very little brain power to keep cross refrencing these, and my stories are very precious to me.)

2026-09-22 06:51:12 UTC

I wrote a bit yesterday, read my own book so I get the story beats right for the next Maple Street story, and plotted a lot despite being so sleepy my eyes were watering constantly (when sleep deprived, I stop blinking).
Today, bit of work, groceries (and hunting for a lamp!), and surviving. Hopefully also writing. <3 That final battle is calling me, and I wish to bring out the devastation!!

There are a few things I wish had been different for child-me:
1. Being accepted as who I was and given acces to education that talks about trans experiences.
2. Learned to take care of my curly hair as it should have been, instead of pushed to iron it out from early eage to extent that I did not know that its natural state is a messy, loose curls.
3. Being allowed to eat when I was hungry so my relationship with food wouldn't be so off still in my 30's.

You know what, I am not afraid to say that my partner is the brains of our tiny family. They just figured out how to get me the newest version of Affinity (since apparently just loading the newest version from their website doesn't work when you have it already). I had to remove the old one (even though the update code was exactly same), and load it again after.
Now I will be testing this out (without any of the AI shit). (:
