@nprofile…d550 @nprofile…w4wg Even if ICE are totally in the wrong and went out of their way to pretend they had an excuse to kill him, he's definitely not exempt from the accusations that he's a tard who also went out of his way to bring Federal wrath and violence upon himself, especially with kicking out their taillight and at one point begging ICE officers to shoot him (I forget when, may even be a prior protest) kinda like Rosenbaum(?) did with Rittenhouse.
I don't really think people like him and Renee deserved to die, but I really reject any attempt to make martyrs out of them.

@nprofile…c76x I doubt it'll be the YotLD, but we'll likely see a big bump in the number of users. We might even see user retention if we keep shilling the most normie-friendly stable (enough) distros instead of just the "most correct" ones. Linux Mint and Zorin are two of the best I've seen and used for people wanting to switch straight from Windows, but I haven't done a lot of distro hopping, so I'm likely missing a ton of decent options. Zorin's great because it makes an effort to make Windows applications pretty compatible out of the box.

@nprofile…xq7u @nprofile…3wwf Do you think the interlacing issue is something that could be fixed in a future patch or something? That sounds like a problem, especially with their claim of museum-grade preservation. Or is that it actually being accurate and just a quirk of the N64 being displayed at a higher res than was originally intended?

@nprofile…tcqh @nprofile…3wwf I'd recommend checking it out. The anime is only 13 episodes, so not a big commitment, either way.

@nprofile…tcqh @nprofile…3wwf Have you seen it? It's one of the few shoujo anime I wound up loving. A nice short story, characters that aren't retarded, relatively minimal drama or plot baggage, and one of the dudes makes it with twins for life.

@nprofile…r70d Re-release?
Also, Omamori Himari is one of the best sleeper hits of its era. Solid characters, fun story, reasonable length and no bloat. It got better on a re-watch/re-read, since the character quality stands out more against modern stuff. Himari is very three-dimensional and the male MC isn't a total wet blanket and his strength building isn't super cheaply done either. The side characters are all pretty good (though, the childhood friend is pretty annoying, especially in the anime compared to the manga, from what I remember).
If you haven't seen it, I would recommend it. It's a classic that people either just don't know about or don't talk about enough.
