this scenario I never understood. If a woman was interested a guy, why would she let her friend block it like that?

apparently the main character is not the character you play as, but his girlfriend. You get to be bossed around by her, made to increase your relationship status with her, etc. to further the campaign, and watch her do the bad ass shit while you play second fiddle.

I didn't say it was right or wrong. All I did was say how passports are currently handled, and how your "pie in the sky" implementation would simply hit the brick wall of bureaucracy. There's already methods in place in most states to verify citizenship and issue IDs.

2026-07-18 14:23:30 UTC

- reply

the logistics of giving everyone a passport "for free" is nuts. First of all, passports are handled centrally, at the federal level. Everyone who wants one now has to go through a lengthy process that is significantly more involved than even the Real ID at the local level. To issue one to 350 million Americans would probably take a decade or more. We'd need to vet and clear 30,000 new American citizens to serve at the state department alone.

What if... what if the World Cup was a psyop? What if the tourists posting their love of America over and over was intended to draw middle America into following soccer? Soccer is basically a global sport used at least in part as a distraction, or the entertainment for the masses much like the old Gladiator fights in Rome. If America gets sucked in, would it increase our changes of being consumed by the One World Government?

Copyright is an affront to liberty and innovation. Information should be free in order to allow for improvements. The artist who writes a song should be able to make money in performances. If someone improves on it they should be able to also make money per performance. Publishers shouldn't have rights. Same goes for patents. Any business should be allowed to produce. This creates a truly free market, reining in the corporations' ability to monopolize and increasing competition.
