I'd like to buy an ant farm for an adult beginner. I'm not afraid to go deluxe as interest is already proven & sustained but from what I can tell all starter kits are small because that's how ants like it & it takes up to a year to get population. This will be a long-term commitment. Is antcube.shop a good shop? 18 videos have been watched. I'd like to order in the coming week. Thanks for any advice.
These?
Messor barbarus
Lasius niger
Crematogaster scutellaris
Camponotus

What year would you guess this object to have been designed?
If you said 1867 you would surely be in the minority, but you would be correct. I post it here is because I believe it illustrates very vividly the Asian pedigree of Western modernism. It arrived so early and was soon so influential and became so integral that we can barely see it today except in such early obvious pieces, but sine qua non.

Not AI, but from an era of both allegory and plague. Talk about déshabillé style!
