Some see propaganda, others see a woman who was emancipated for her time, who energetically tackled things that men couldn't do — and who made history in the process.
Speaking of stench and mass deaths, everyone surely longs for the horse manure-strewn city centers of the oh-so-romantic Middle Ages, where feces were simply dumped onto the streets and epidemics were omnipresent. Ech, what am I saying! To each his own horse!

Money quotes: "The task calls for a leader with a fresh vision of the future. Unfortunately, that’s not Mr. Merz."
"Today, Germany is in urgent need of change. Instead it’s getting Mr. Merz: yesterday’s man, with yesterday’s ideas."
"It’s not just the economy Mr. Merz would like to take back to the past."
"The Christian Democrats’ campaign slogan was “forward again.” But under Mr. Merz, they’re just looking backward."

Come to think of it, would it be possible today for heirs to suppress all publications of works and simply sit on the rights for 70 years? Maybe something like: “I abhor dad, let's suppress his entire life's work and let it fade into oblivion”?

As a non-C and only casual programmer, why does it annoy people? Is it because it's syntax sugar?
Both seem useful and practical to me.

Also, you might be biased. If you are used to Fedora or Windows - and have trained your muscle memory on them - you will naturally be faster on these systems. If you would allow the same training time for macOS, the result might be different.
Just an observation, not a judgment.

Since I work with all major operating systems, I would say that you both are right. It's rather a question of affinity, not quality. All desktops are mature enough to enable a productive workflow, it just depends on whether they support your personal working style better or worse.
