"China's clean technology exports this year will cut carbon emissions outside its borders by an amount equivalent to Brazil's annual emissions from consuming fossil fuels.
The climate savings outweighed the carbon dioxide emitted in manufacturing the solar panels, turbines and other equipment, the report said, estimating it took around six months for clean tech imports to "pay back" the manufacturing emissions."

Dutch farmers plant ... rice?
"The project is about much more than crop diversification. Researchers believe it could help tackle one of the Netherlands' most persistent environmental problems.
Roughly one-tenth of the country is peatland, which farmers drain for grass to feed their cattle.
As the peat dries out, it releases millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide while causing the land to subside by up to several centimetres a year in the worst-affected areas."

Spread the word far and wide!
Those pollinators are good for the adjacent farms.
Also: If you choose to grow crops under the solar, their yield can be higher than without the solar, with less water.
(And the plants cool the solar so you get more yield out of those too, compared to erecting them on an unused parking lot or something).
Having plants under solar is a win all around.

"India’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions grew by just 0.7% in [2025], the slowest rate in more than two decades.
This is a sharp slowdown from the growth of 4-11% in the preceding four years and marks the lowest rate of increase since 2001, excluding the impact of Covid in 2020.
The analysis shows that India’s power sector is poised for a potential inflection point, where clean-energy additions can meet or exceed the growth in electricity demand."
