I separated my personal web browsing from my work browsing by having the personal on Firefox, and the work on Chrome
At one point I switched work to @nprofile…60xv still technically chromium…
But with the deprecation of v2 extension format in Chromium, Vivaldi too is now useless for work.
I’m not paid to watch adds, nor have my experience disrupted by advertisers.
The loss of adblocking extensions makes these browsers unusable for me.

Yeah this doesn’t mention c-22 anywhere.
I don’t doubt Palantir is involved, but from previous us reporting it looks more like it’s Meta and a well funded network of astroturfing parental safety groups, fwiw

@nprofile…h0ux you are essentially browsing the users outbox collection. Not all implémentations keep an outbox collection though (ex: lemmy last I checked)

@nprofile…h0ux with a client to server app (in development), backfilling isn’t an issue, since we can request all the urls we like through the proxy!

Absolutely terrible, a continuing problem in canada, compounded by sexism.
Women in my life have told me about this both as a thing that happened, and that they were personally experiencing. Makes my blood boil

My fosdem talk is up!
I make a case for more platforms to support the ActivityPub client API, and how we should look beyond microblogging for future growth of the ‘verse

@nprofile…80d0 no, the question was more about the scope of “public”.
Is it still considered public if it’s in a private channel?

@nprofile…80d0 what if it were a "Local only" or "Followers only" post, so not public on the wide internet, would that be allowed?

Anyone remember the Vers Audio 1Q?
They had a successful kickstarter back in the day.
Well, after 10 or so years, the battery is shot.
I want to disassemble it and replace the battery but can't find any info online.
Maybe someone on here has done it?
