Me in code review: Your AI is lying to you: RCA is already wrong [...]
"Them": You are absolutely right! I've rewritten the PR description and the ticket with what git and the release thread actually show: [2kb further slop]
The real downside of remote work is my inability to walk over and whack them over the head for their own good.

[True story, but happened a few months ago.]

@nprofile…shkc Wannabe btrfs enjoyer or how did you manage that?
(I have zero experience with anything more hip than ext4 and I plan to keep it that way until the bugs have moved to greener pastures.)

@nprofile…mv7s This works also (with more precision but less weld depth) with a soldering iron set sufficiently low.

What the compiler says:
regex.h:207:53: error: use of deleted function ‘std::basic_ostream<_CharT, _Traits>::basic_ostream(const std::basic_ostream<_CharT, _Traits>&) [with _CharT = char; _Traits = std::char_traits<char>]’
207 | return f((Edge<DataActions...> *){nullptr});
| ^
What the compiler means:
You forgot to declare your lambda to -> decltype(auto). Elsewhere.

Are you searching for a _CLI_ editor, i.e. directly operated from the command line (sed, jq, maaaybe ed), or a terminal editor (vim, emacs, nano, pico, mcedit, ...)?

When I'm not in the mood for bullshit:
root@somewhere:/var/quuxtodo# ./backend
./backend: error while loading shared libraries: libjsoncpp.so.24: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
root@somewhere:/var/quuxtodo# vim backend
root@somewhere:/var/quuxtodo# ./backend
Serving.

@nprofile…pqg2 @nprofile…32r0 Basically any OpAmp can be used in a comparator circuit.
A zehner diode (above a 10k resistor) will give you a fixed reference (say 20V), which you divide via a resistor + potentiometer (i.e. adjustable resistor), to about 12V.
Then you also divide the battery voltage by two identical resistors, i.e. to U_battery / 2. Then comparator via OpAmp and you drive some piezo buzzer or other "loud noise" generator of choice.
(I never built such a device, but I'm pretty sure it'll work as described. Probably somewhat temperature dependent, but not to a relevant degree. I'm willing to draw a circuit diagram if needed.)

@nprofile…skc4 @nprofile…993l To whoever in this thread it might concern: FFP3 masks work wonders for not letting pollen into my (and I assume your) nose and lung.
I started wearing them long before COVID and it changed "debilitating asthma" into "let's do a 2h bike ride in spring air for fun" (still irritates my eyes, though)

@npub1qu5…4evr It might be worth a try to build a "working battery" by soldering a supercapacitor and a buck converter to the battery connector. Said setup is currently keeping two old tablets alive on my desk.
