Don't get me wrong, i am not praying for the apocalypse (or am I), but what if ''the web'' just starts to break down and crumble under the pressure of hacks and exploits.
Are "we" ready? Can we say 'sorry your favorite platforms are down or unreliable for whatever reason, sorry things happened to your account and/or content.....here is something that was better to begin with but also just works'
What if it was never about us winning a popularity contest, what if our job is to ensure we are the last survivor?

Ive had it run for a while for other projects as well, and that mostly worked, so i figured i'd go next level.
i spend a lot of time in creating the spec, going over every stupid question the robot had about it, issues it came up with etc. and it then delivered this formal spec, which it has now been building an implmentation of for a long while now (most of the time is in the endless amount of tests it runs each phase of the build). I must say, its not just stickly building the engine, but an entire test environment around it as well at the same time.
This is basically 3 20x claude subsciptions running ultracode opus 5.5, each burning through their token budget in 2 days, and then the 7th day my system has a day off as God intented
(i went to bed, could not sleep, so i went out again :/ )

Honest question: what else would you have them do, given they supply every living idiot soul with their OS.

@nprofile…9vs7 could you have a look at the Nostr Workshop app? 👉👈🥹.
I guess it will be very confusing an too much information overload, trying to work on that. But i wonder if you see any value in this irt onboarding someone new from your experience. Or as a tool you could use in that process.
Because despite that it might be a bit overwhelming....it has a lot...as in...it kinda has everything one would need, i think atleast

The npc's lines are too much/long. Should be like 2 beats/senteces. These guys yap on and and on.
It should be
'I used to be an adventured like you....but then i took an arrow in the knee'
And not add on
'So i went to the hospital....cost me an arm and a leg!.....so now i walk with a stick...not what you call pole position in life'

oh all of that is weird. What version of table mesh did you use?
I tried it with another phone last weekend and everything worked smooth :/

it might as well be a hash, given the long string of random characters it is, yes.

Btw Havok, i am kind of curious how you look at Nostr these days. Do you use it (orchestration, ngit etc.) inside your AI coding journy as well?

I see you are on an iphone, and unfortunatly that is something i am not too familiar with when it comes to apps and what works etc. Over at android land things are pretty wild with nostr appstores and a bazillion apps.
Still, as i have mentioned elsewhere, Yakihonne is available for iOS, so you can try that client

On a different note:
Shilling nostr apps/clients is pointless if people don't know about Nostr.
(Unless you have some gimmick and can somehow can get attention/marketing going)

Listening to the whole AI doom scenario discourse just proofs to me that extrapolation is a hell of a drug, especially when you just ignore economics for convenience sake.
Related note: they can't forge signatures so just put them on a leash.

Ssst, you are not supposed to actually make a sensible point here. You are supposed to say oeeeeh, and aaaaah and be confused and worried......and use this highly innovative thing called stablecoin, that as well.

@nprofile…cy6q is a CLI maxi, because its the most social copy paste blabla whatever. The irony that he has been developing for the robots he loves so much is an endless source of joy for me.
Another reminder to point your robot friend towards this if you want to build anything Nostr related:

Can you please make sure when you share your article/recap, you do so via "nostr:nadder1...", instead of using a weblink, in this case njump.me/naddr1....
"nostr:" is the way to make a Nostr native reference to another event; using an URL basically pull people out of their clients and makes them go to a website (some clients happen to interpret these URLs such that they will open them in the client, but its best to stick to the correct method).
Inside yakihonne ''post in a note'' option does this automatically for you. The other option is to select "Copy naddr", and add the "nostr:" infront of it manually.
Thank you for your efforts with Nostr recap🙏

PEOPLE ALREADY ARE CONTENT CURATORS DEREK....FFS
EVERYTHING IS CURATION, MY OWN POSTS, THE STUFF I REPOST, MY LISTS, SAME FOR RELAYS RRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Seriously, im kinda pissed. We should burn everything to the ground and force everyone to write fucking queries to generate feeds. You specify people(npubs), places(relays) and things(kinds) and get the shit you asked for.
Everyone is grounded, no dinner, until they have mastered NAK...after that they can have @npub1era…skz0 . And after that, maybe they can get their antiquated fucking twitter clone clients back.
