Being in the mountains also means having no mobile connection sometimes. But I am back to civilization. Two days of running 🏃‍♀️ ❤️⛰️🚐

I left for vacation and then got sick yesterday. So I didn't want to drive too far. I won't reach Mont Ventoux this year, but that's okay. It'll wait for me. 😉
I got stuck here to rest a few days. Could be worse 🤭
Hopefully I can do some trailrunning here and around Chamonix by the middle of the week. But first I need to recover - again...

Not what I expected from the last night.
This gastrointestinal infection hit fast and hard. 😩 already back home but my body hurts due to dehydration and no one has time to fetch my medis from the pharmacy 🙁 so I will just lay here and wait for better times - drinking tea with sugar, salt and electrolytes…
Better times ahead, I am sure 🫤

No running today. Legs are stiff. But I guided a barefoot hike with some guests which was really nice program, also for my legs. Walking slowly, focusing on the feet... being in the sun. Perfect Sunday.

When you ask for gluten free diet at a 2-day-conference and get back an email indicating that it will be buffet and you will for sure find something you like.
"Like"? 🫣😖 Honestly?
It's not a lifestyle, it's an autoimmune disease. Will bring my own food – again (and again, and again...).

Hey everyone! 🏔️ I need your help!
I'm looking for work as a hiking/outdoor guide for 3–6 weeks this summer – ideally in #Switzerland or #Norway. I'm training with the Swiss Mountain Guide Association, working toward the #UIMLA certification, and need fill up my commercial tours before the exam.
If you know of any opportunities, contacts or links – I’d be super grateful.
Boosts are very welcome! 😊
Tusen takk – und vielen lieben Dank!

I woke up back in winter this morning. We got around 30cm over night and it will snow until noon. It's always a special atmosphere when everything is covered freshly with snow. But I'm a bit worried as the trees already started having leaves and the snow is very wet and heavy.

The weekend is just around the corner and we're already looking forward to a few trails right on our doorstep! We are so grateful to be at home in a region that offers us the entire alpine spectrum, from long hikes and challenging trail runs to impressive ski tours. It's so lovely and quiet now in the autumn, before the ski season kicks off in a few weeks!
