@nprofile…9u6v I imagine this is the same footage used in the DOS game I grabbed the other day.

Today's op-shop score - a slightly waterlogged copy of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Volume 1 on CD-ROM. The CD looks clean enough and it seems to come with newspaper clippings that will provide clues for each case. I don't love FMV games but I couldn't leave it behind.

Here we go! Inspired by the ever-adventurous @nprofile…svv3 I'm going to tackle this one. We've got faux-retro peripherals, a block of graph paper and a notebook. What more could a guy ask for?

Currently installing Old Skies from
@nprofile…l79x . Can't wait to get stuck in! Wadjet Eye Games is always one to watch - I look forward to every release and I'm sure this latest effort will not disappoint. Adventure game fans are eating well this year!

@nprofile…9u6v Sorry to hear about your trouble, Ramon. Families can be a real challenge - be thankful we can choose our friends! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Netbooks are still one of my favourite things. Here we see a venerable Asus Eee PC 900HA, playing @nprofile…svv3 fantastic adventure The Crimson Diamond while it waits for its new battery to come in the mail.

Well, these two massive tomes should give me the knowledge I require. Now to clean my desk and get into Thinking Mode.

@nprofile…er6e A quick search on the Wayback Machine says yes, this was a website, and they did get at least one of these two pictures from it - the one on the right. Nintendo seems to have acquired the domain some time in late 1999 or early 2000.

New wristwatch. A Timex Expedition TW4B16000 'field watch'. I felt that I didn't really have a watch that fulfilled only the true sole function of the device, and have now rectified that. Garlic Bread doesn't seem impressed, however.
