A study by University of Kansas psychology professor Chris Crandall found that as blood alcohol levels rise, people tend to endorse more conservative political positions, though their core identity as liberals or conservatives remains unchanged.
That explains a lot.

privacy is considered a fundamental human right and is recognized in various international human rights treaties, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is essential for the protection of individual dignity and freedom. And seeking to protect your human rights is considered suspicious behavior by most governments and will get you on a watchlist.

The massive heavily funded professional corruption campaign behind the chat control dissolution of privacy is more depressing to peek at than any dystopian fiction. Like a for-profit armored tank rolling right over unarmed protesters at tienanmen sqare clearing the way for endless fraud and perverse boundaryless authoritarianism with its tentacles reaching into your bed and toilet.
Without privacy you are property.

There’s an island in vättern where the crown planted oaks to build a might fleet of warships for its dreams of an empire. When the caretakers reported to the marine that their oaks were ready for delivery, the marine declined them, having built warships from steel and other alloys for a hundred years by then.

I wouldn’t say that, having had no experience of war. I’d settle for describing it as a 10/10
