This complete hogwash is actually from the U.S. Social Security Administration. As in, the email was genuinely sent by an arm of the government of the United States but is 100% shameless propaganda. Warn your elders.

It’s not a warning to say “my product could do you harm”. It’s attempted extortion.

I suspect Swedish Centrists are a LOT smarter and less pandering populist than Bernie. Plus! When a country is already mostly civilized like Sweden, it’s possible to do more social good than it is here when there’s SO much ‘just put out the dumpster fires’ work to do first.

Yo! American lefty BernieBro/Squad Stan types… read this see the GOOD news! See ‘uneasy coalition’ and make sure to work for that when your perfect UBI in every pot make everyone ‘safe by giving them a Government Nanny’ candidate can’t possibly win.

I used these for hundreds (thousands?) of shows when I was still ‘in the biz’ and found them really helpful. https://etymotic.com/collections/passive-hearing-protection

It’s pretty universally agreed that Apple hardware has been in a period of arguably the highest quality and (end of Mac Pro notwithstanding) utility in decades and maybe that’s an indicator that Ive era design autonomy from operations and finance was a mixed bag.

All the ever-lovin’ $&@% this!
I am absolutely done with ‘I don’t vote’ and ‘He’s not the perfect progressive so I voted third party’.
I truly wouldn’t piss on you lot if you were on fire. (But I’ll happily toast marshmallows.)

There are only four reasons to chase followers and likes:
1) You’re using social media to sell something you do or create to earn a living.
2) You strive to have your social media clout be a product itself to sell to advertisers/sponsors.
3) You’re an activist of some sort.
4) You have some measure of mental illness causing an irrational need for approval absent an ability to discern meaningful approval from people who matter and algorithmic fluff.
1- 💯 Legit
2-Corrupting
3-Depends
4-Victim

Fixing the internet demands one fairly simple legal framework change:
Ban behavior advertising.
Contextual advertising is fine. Show ads for chainsaws adjacent to all the landscaping and home improvement content you like
CRM is fine. Promote your new products (on YOUR sites) to your existing customers as you like.
It all went to hell when we let advertisers refuse to pay unless they got a click. This standard of efficacy measurement is a-historically absurd.
