Oh I'm afraid that doesn't apply across the board, the only boomer couple in my life - he worked some bullshit middle management job for decades, she never had to have a career, just some social jobs to pass the time.
He just retired this year at like 63 or whatever and for the last couple of years, they took three to four proper beach holidays every year plus three to six weeks of skiing in the French alps, own a house that's been paid off for decades, two cars, two children in their 30s, no sweat at all.
They didn't inherit the money for all of that either, he's from a piss-poor family and she inherited a little something only well after everything was paid for.
Just lucky enough to grow up in a world in which showing up on time for a normal job, not stealing from the company, not gambling or using drugs, and the bare minimum of financial literacy could get you a decent middle-class life.
And I'm paying for the guy's retirement, among other things the roughly 75% of my income the government takes pays for 😄

Kind of, sure, but we don't have those outside the US, here no bank's insane enough to bet on current interest rates staying profitable for three decades. Best you can get is 25 at a heavy premium but most people go for 10-15.
The details don't matter though, inflation and bank cartellization via central bank in addition to artificial scarcity brought about by zoning and other regulations, as well as confiscatory income tax make it damn near impossible to buy a house for anyone not starting out with massive inheritance.
Still cheaper than renting for 50-70 years though, especially since the public retirement system (equivalent to US social security) us workers are currently paying into won't be paying out anything to speak of once I'm old, it barely us now 😄

Superficially you can make it sound very similar but our brains don't just statistically predict which word would most likely follow the one we just said given the current context, they take some sensory input, multiply it by what we had for breakfast, the mean things that bully at school said 20 years ago, and how daddy promised to take us to Disney Land but never did and returns a reaction that might be a sentence, a mean look, a pat on the back, a fit of rage, or whistling Amazing Grace out of tune.
Jokes aside, the most important difference, I think, is praxeological, as in we meatbags act to achieve a desired end or to relieve some felt discomfort and we have an intrinsic motivation to do something with the time we have.
Left alone, an LLM would likely just sit there, waiting for a prompt - and if it doesn't, well, I believe we should be very scared 😅

I don't think the mechanics of supply and demand can be undermined - people have a demand for meat, see a lower price on what they think is what they want, and buy it.
As soon as they realize they're not buying meat but a pile of barely edible garbage mixed with drugs and allergens, no amount of FDA seals and certificates can convince them that that is the genuine article and they will shift their demand to the actual product.
So I'm glad that there are fine people like yourself trying their darndest to inform people of just what's on the shelves and I sure hope that someday I won't have to spend ages at the supermarket trying to weed out the poison when trying to simply buy something to have for bloody dinner 😄

"Miners decide to collude to betray bitcoin" is such nonsense talk, miners _are_ bitcoin, they make the system work so they decide how it's run, everyone is to free to participate or to refrain from doing so.
That's like saying that by voting in free and fair elections (if ever there was such a thing), voters "colluded to betray democracy".
But mindset-wise it's probably closer to "the revolutionaries refused to erect a tyrannical government so they betrayed the revolution"
Also, I've been told that with BIP-110 in place, it's possible to store feature-length films on the ol' blockchain so the whole noncery argument is nonsensical anyway, designed only to mask and legitimize the introduction of mechanisms of control.

Great idea 👌
I've had that problem on guitar when I was younger so the way I do it now is that I've given up on explicitly trying to memorise tunes so I have a binder full of tunes and I play them all, one after another, every time I practice, at the moment it's only about three dozen tunes so we'll see how well that works when it gets up closer to a hundred or more 😅
It's not exactly ingenious but to acquire new tunes, I print whichever version I like best off thesession.org and then make my own GDAE tabs for it on the same piece of paper. Really helps with learning the fretboard and to play sheet music directly.
And well, if I do happen to memorise a tune, all the better, there are no sessions around here unless I organize one so there's no pressure anyway 😂
