I got a fever, and the only prescription…is shipping more apps.
Just made another free Mac app: Transcriber! Drop an audio or video file and it uses Apple’s on-device model to transcribe. Edit if needed and export txt, srt, or vtt.

Podcast stats have always been a secret, unlike YouTube where views and subscribers are public and open.
So last week I implemented a new open podcast analytics tool for Primary Technology. Go to our website, click "Stats" in the footer, and anyone can see our numbers whenever they want.
Shout out to John Spurlock for building this, and @nprofile…nxlw for making it easy to implement!

@nprofile…ge5x Seems like if you have a show like mine with RSS free audio, and an ad-free subscriber audio version, there won't be a way to dictate the chapters for subscriber audio. It will generate chapters automatically, but seemingly won't take my ID3 chapter tags from thge subscriber audio MP3 like I thought. Getting confirmation...

I’ve made it to Cupertino for WWDC! I have some time tomorrow (Sunday) morning and since I’ve never been to San Francisco I’m tempted to go up for a couple hours.
I’ll only have time to see a few things, so what should I try to hit? And best place for a Golden Gate selfie?

Dropped my Pocket 3 while filming yesterday right before headed to WWDC 🤦‍♂️ gimbal gets stuck and won’t rotate to landscape. BUT if I manually twist it, seems fine-ish.

Reminder that Comply ear tips are the best way to wear AirPods Pro. They recently updated their foam too, a little firmer but just as comfortable and stay in way better than the stock silicone tips. Not an ad and no affiliate link, they’re just the best.

Rumor is Apple will rebrand its OS’s after the year, so in a couple weeks we may see “iOS 26.”
I’d be down to make them uniform, since macOS / visionOS / iOS / watchOS are all different right now, but the real question: apostrophe or not?
iOS ‘26 or iOS 16 🤔

Just listened to one of my favorite podcasts (none that you’re thinking). It’s a 31 minute episode and the format was:
- 2 Min Pre-Roll Ads
- 30 Sec Intro
- 4 Min More Ads
After all the intro stuff I was 8 minutes in before hearing the guest. I get monetizing, but…don’t do that to your listeners.
