The funniest scenario.
AI brakes eliptic curve crypto because they had backdoors, but secp256k1 chosen by Satoshi(only used in Bitcoin) is the only one that does not break.

Mind sharing some info :)

There seem to be some new private emails from Satoshi with Nicholas Bohm.
Why this article does not link the sources?
Very bad practice, not making it trustworthy?
hat is the sources of these emails that make us trust they are the real ones?

Hey Mike,
Thanks for taking the time to write all of this up.
I am quite familiar with host nostr works, but context is always appreciated.
So the short answer is pay for better relaying. Got it.
Things is that every single person that talks about nostr talks in this very positive way, but no one ever mentions this, so I must imagine they are light users, which makes sense, most users will be light users.
Re primal specifically since you mentioned it, last week when I launched a very important project, it did not work. You push a button and did nothing, so I doubt that was because of not using premium tier.
But clearly this was just an unlucky coincidence and they had infra problems.
But clearly the main annoyance is the delta between my expectations and reality.
But in my defence the expectation set by people is that its almost 1:1 on x.

So now I am using Jungle and Primal, and some notifications show up on one but not the other.
Also both laggy, and i have to press buttons more than once sometimes.
I get that there is no consensus for clients, but this is very unusable.
It also seems to me that both clients could try to discover posts more aggressively.
Is this a not-enough-resources-for-servers/relays problem, or something else?
Please, I am not interested in getting told how great this is, or how it’s not a problem for some of you, or that I should build it myself, or any equivalent defensive bullshit.
I am someone who uses social media heavily, and I put a lot of effort and money into creating content, so I want an app that actually works.
In fact, it needs to work at least 10x better than X for me to switch.
I am genuinely asking these questions because I want to understand what is causing these problems.
There is no way I am the only person that has these problems and is bothered by them.

Right but you have a total of 14 notes posted.
It does not look like you use it that much?

I honestly do not understand how people use nostr every day and claim they dont need twitter.
EVERYTHING is broken, nothing works.
Btw, i am not a hater, I used nostr from the 1st ever damus client on mobile and have tried ever since.
But if you need to use social media to distribute ideas to people, this is unreliable.
Why is this not fixable?
(genuenly asking)
I understand that you have to talk to relayes and move data around, but the reason its bad and unreliable today is it because servers not good enough?
Could this be solved by throwing more money at it, and have better CDNs?

I want this!
But the main question is how is the hosting going to be handled?
I mean you need a lot of server with lots of bandwith to deliver a decent experience.
Also heavy compression on videos is a bad things, no one enjoys videos with artefacts.

You think that the only way you could have a selection algorythm in your app that picks what to shows you in your feed, requires an authority?

It's a picture I took, but you are prolly wondering what's with the numbers and lines.
I wanted to see how the croping preview works here on nostr.

Invalid argument because:
1) other people are getting results, so there is a big enough market.
2) most of the people I reach on X are probably present on nostr, or similar people like them
