This is just dumb. When are people going to understand that starting a "public business" under their public jurisdiction gives them total control of what you can do with any "product". So if you want to build a kyc free self custody app or any feature that provides an alternative to their walled garden of fiat-style finance they will create the fake laws to shut you down or absorb you into their total control grid. If you want to not comply you have to start by not joining their game and entering their garden (i.e. no business or public entity)

It does seem plausible. Its at least a very irresponsible way of "helping"/approach to responsible disclosure.

I suspect this is intended to takeover or destroy Foss in bitcoin. It's the typical tla multi layered attack to scare people away from self custody and foss and move them back to "safe" centralization by 1. creating a shit hardware wallet and brainwash people into thinking its the best, 2. take down the primary independent swap service that most are dependent on and 3. using the threat of Ai as the source of the bug (unproven) to find and "fix" all the "bugs".

I wonder how open source AI will counteract the US govt/palantir plan to use AI for precrime judgements based on people activity on social media etc? If every user in the world transitioned to locally hosted open source AI from centralized Ai it might start to help but then what about all the chips needed and competition for them. Sadly we would need the same users to somehow ensure all data about them ever stored in any honeypot and any corporate centralized Ai is deleted. Not going to happen. Having said that a mass boycott of all tech (especially cellphones and ai) is the only way out that's what you should be talking about.. But people are brainwashed and in love with tech so it ain't gonna happen fast enough.

Haha exactly. Sure people are sensing users to their swap service as an alternative already. What a scam. I do wish more people can see the obvious link or coincidences.

I am almost certain this is the plan and thanks to the "AI gods" this will start happening more often to both steal from bitcoiners and funnel their coins into ETFs "for their safety". The narrative will be "hardware wallets and self-custody are dangerous and insecure, it took AI to strip away the veil of security". "Anyone who wants to not lose their savings should centralize their coins and trust us"

Strike is not a model for a Bitcoiner to follow nor is its leader. (fully compromised in my view). Start9 is interesting and potentially a good example. However all public companies are within the jurisdiction of criminal government mafias and their armed protectors (police/intelligence). While Ten31 might be well meaning, VCs follow the Silicon valley example and by definition fund such entities to either 1. scam users and steal their money directly or indirectly or 2. be controlled by the state as supposed legitimate, secure and "compliant" good cop companies. Both being created as part of that good/bad fake war similar to the whole Bip110 war. As long as bitcoin development is dominated by such VC funded or claimed independent companies bitcoin will become centralized. The bitcoin community needs to use the coinkite created disaster as the example of how and why they should move to private entities and community funded work only. A very difficult task to achieve well but the right thing to do.

Coinkite betrayed the trust of every customer they ever had whether directly affected by the vulnerability or not. This is so bad its criminal (its clearly fraud since its the same as a bank onboarding customers and pretending to secure their funds) that they should refund customers for every product they ever sold, on top of refunding their unrecovered bitcoin.

How can you be a voice in bitcoin and note importantly how can you invest in a company if you "think" its the best without testing and verifying that to be 100% certain of at least its basic security? There is zero excuse for that and your credibility is now also zero. Cosy relationships to promote a bad product developed by an incompetent and arrogant company should be the last thing to exist in bitcoin. The problem is the existence of VCs and companies in bitcoin - these are Fiat world scammer creations. Its time for bitcoin to purge itself of all VCs and govt controlled companies.

The fact that its becoming real is a the worst thing that can happen to bitcoin when you see who is behind it (Trump and the PayPal mafia) and what its true goals are. Boycott it and stop promoting it.

Very nicely said from a non techie who wants sovereignty for his money and isn't blinded by guru syndrome. Too many were blinded by NGU while they saw Saylor doing his PR tour and centralizing supply, or by Adam Back an Epstein connection who hasn't answered for his dodgy/disturbing behaviour. Those are 2 so called leaders who have Zero credibility for Bitcoin and are quite obviously trying to turn it into the new Ethereum i.e. a centralized shitcoin. If you care about decentralized money and your sovereignty from shitcoiners like Trump whether its bitcoin or something else then support bip110 and boycott core v30+.

What do we expect from a company funded and nurtured by Epstein himself now heavily connected to the current commerce secretary? His and his friends vision is for a digital dollar (usdc/usdt) and tokenizing everything. Their friends are the PayPal mafia including Peter Thiel one of the biggest investors in Crypto shitcoins and scams ever, the WEF, and other folks attempting to build a dystopian future run by AI judges.

Bullshit. Ai in health is a dystopia. MRNA vaccines are not beneficial or healthy. Overcome cancer or prevent it through working with nature, the mind, and natural medicine. The only thing Ai might hell with is what the second guy said at the end - bad aiding and making up for the complete failure, and narrow mindedness of western medicine.

I don't trust a single word Musk says as he's always playing a game that benefits his position. However if he has evidence of this it's interesting. But really its just replicating the federal reserve at department level. It seems they needed this to fill the gap while the Fed was not on their side.

We need a similar campaign to move from exchanges to self-custody for existing users, and help them turn on a node and solar miner, and another campaign to move to an "only self-custody" model for noobs. We need to work faster and harder to make that easy and intuitive. Cashu has the right idea despite the custodial dependency. If self custody can be that easy we will win but we've been painfully slow thus allowing institutions time to control supply.

Bad idea, this would make cashu on lightning dependent on ark for withdrawal. It needs to be a lightning improvement or agnostic open source solution imo. The better path forward for bitcoin generally is less or no use of Ark.

Wow the comments are hilarious. Welcome to the Uk and EU. They can go to Ireland and Sweden and most Eu countries now to see the same thing. If you don't have blinkers on, or a naive view of the states benevelonce, then you will know something is wrong. The truth is its an obvious and documented policy by the UN and he EU to replace those native and mostly white peoples. What originally started as DEI turned into an invasion. That was the original design and purpose of the EU, since its nothing more than a communist tyrannical dictatorship.

Correction: "bending the knee"

2026-06-02 19:38:07 UTC

Its long past time for the Irish govt to stop reneging on our sovereignty and bending the new to made up EU regulations and legislation, most of which is intended to rape our nation, destroy our culture, and local industries/farming and wipe out our native people. The only thing Ireland has got from the Eu is big roads that flattened our heritage. #endtheeu

This seems like such a missed opportunity, both user communities and particularly merchants and noob users would benefit from the integration. Can you give some meaningful info on why "its impossible to make it work safely" setting aside the personal disagreements?
