@nprofile…m6ad @nprofile…3mmw I always look upon meds as a nuclear option, not to be treated casually but if you have no softer option it's a button you need to press.
MS is particularly horrid, and that's just the condition as is, all the medical inventions make it gruelling. I hope your son is doing well and at least finding some benefit for the meds he's on.

@nprofile…3mmw @nprofile…m6ad Some of the medications are a necessary evil but you seem to understand that well enough to be concerned and so I believe you would account for any risks and side effects and be fully read up on it all.
I hope the paracetamol does the trick, flower. Sometimes you have to take measures that might cause complications and reduced lifespan down the road so that we might continue living to fight those particular battles down the line. As true of our animal pals as it is for us.

@nprofile…3mmw @nprofile…m6ad I would ask them to give you a quick break down of how to give the jabs yourself next visits, petal. You're confident enough and familiar enough with your animals that it should be a simple matter for you also if he's chill about injections already even better for you; all you need is the dosage and the when and where to inject, I think.

Pup sitting again this evening whilst this little lad's mistress is off out to the theatre for the evening. Lots of quality belly rubs to be had today.

I couldn't agree more. Animal abuse is on of my 'red mist' buttons.
I still don't think I'd want a swarm of kittens scaling me like a climbing wall. Those claws are tiny but sharp.

I still need to try making a duck egg ice cream. 😋

I'm not exactly high salt either, often I have to make a point of adding it to food when I get muscle cramps. I shall definitely pick a few of these up. Did they go well with the eggs?

That looks really good. Shame it's on the salty side but i suppose I'd rather them make its shelf life longer with salt than sugar or worse. I shall keep an eye for them. Thanks, petal.

I think I'll stick to my usual cheeses. i once had low fat cottage cheese and it was foul, left a powdery residue on the tongue after. Awful stuff.

Yeah I steer well clear of anything unnecessarily adulterated. I haven't tried lactose free cheese yet, it sounds... unpleasant. Stabilisers sound like something that should go on children's bicycles and not food.

I'm the same with fatty food tbh. I tend to keep consumption in moderation though I do find cheese a tad too tempting.
Your loss is the dog's gain, I suppose. At least the crumbs aren't rancid or anything so perhaps croquettes can be done another day. Still I hope your guts are in a forgiving mood.
