I would have expected all major companies who offer an #OAuth 2.0 provider to also implement #OIDC but Instagram, GitHub, Patreon, TikTok do not, AFAIK.
Some of the ones who do are Apple, Facebook, Gitlab, Google, Kakao, LinkedIn, Slack, Spotify, Twitch.
Which of these would you use to log in if a #fediverse project offered it?

@npub12ty…vnqc thanks, but that redirects to my home feed. Is it supposed to be showing something else?

What are the most popular #Pixelfed accounts? I'm finding the platform very promising but it's very hard to find interesting content. Even harder than on PeerTube.

I've never used #BSD (besides the portions that macOS and FreeBSD have in common) but it seems to have really enthusiastic fans. Whether it's for your desktop or servers, what do you love about it? What made you choose it over Linux?

Having second thoughts about creating a #Fediverse platform. I was not aware of the levels of toxicity on #Mastodon by users (even admins) who don't understand how federation protocols work and harass developers with false accusations and even uploading child porn to their websites to get them in legal trouble. No, thank you.

I really like the terminology that makes it clear that the software is free as in libre, not as in gratis.

I once tried to sign up for #Discord and my account was immediately suspended as soon as I clicked on the button to create the account because I was on a VPN. Then their support team ghosted me. I refuse to use anything that requires a Discord account.

Since most public figures won't trust their online identity to some random server admin, we need them all to move from Twitter to Threads if we want them on the #Fediverse.

Question for protocol designers/implementers. Do you think letting users control their cryptographic keys like #Nostr does is an improvement over the approach followed by #ActivityPub?
Whether it's from a technical or usability perspective, I'd like to hear what you think.

If you want to avoid AI here are a few things you’ll need to avoid:
- Spam filters.
- Fraud detection on your bank account.
- Anything that involves a search algorithm.
- Anything that came from a factory (factory floor optimization).
- Anything that is delivered to your home or involves airplanes (path finding).
- Most video games.
- Accessibility features like text-to-speech.
