@nprofile…ygvu #linux #linuxmint #tuxedo #tuxedoos
Okay, just got a #tuxedo #linux laptop. I am not able to figure out how to use the file manager (#dolphin) in root mode. All the solutions suggested by articles (e. g. https://www.adamsdesk.com/posts/dolphin-enable-administrator-root-access/) are not working. In linux mint it was fairly easy.
Does anybody has experience with #tuxedoos?

@nprofile…8zt6 It's not the content of his statements. I agree to them, otherwise he is/was a top banker, that's suspicious.

@nprofile…60lz Reading this as #EU citizen, I really feel pity for all the 50% of UK citizens who made the only sane vote (not to leave).
#BorisJohnson and #nigelfarage are the "thinkers" behind this desaster and responsible for this. If I were a UK citizen, I would throw them off your isle sooner than later; they caused more damage to your people than any #EU immigrant could have (except that the majority contributes by work and taxes anyway).

@nprofile…6naz I see your point and understand your reasoning.
The counter argument goes as follows: Let's say you have a small fire (totaletarians) by a thriving forest (democracy). You would want to stop the fire immediately and not wait for it to catch the whole forest (as happened in Nazi Germany).
Why do you assume, that if the majority of people are democrats, they suddenly switch vote for totaletarians if one of them gets banned?
