For two days I've been on a driveway repair job. The customer stupidly allowed a pipe laying contractor to trench down the middle of his 1/2 mile driveway when here in central South Carolina it is all clay below the surface, which made for a sloppy muddy mess. He hired me to rectify this situation, which, in the middle of we got un-forecasted massive rains making a mess into a muddy swamp. I'm surprised the gators didn't move in.
Adam and John need to expose big weather.
I hate big weather!!!

@nprofile…5hfh I guess I didn't connect with you correctly and I don't know what mentions are. I apologize.
My wife got me a computer a year after we got married, 24 years ago, so I could be connected with family. In these 23 years I persist in my efforts to remain largely ignorant of this world...

@nprofile…5hfh Russell Brand is a former comedian, actor, womanizer, drug/alcohol abusing hell raiser, turned Jesus freak, being persecuted by the UK government for his public libertarian positions on his podcast. Oh, he's British.
Apparently on his live podcast he has a trollroom too. He mentioned someone named mummabear5 who has said something in his trollroom.

ITM, y’all. In just a moment I’ll be negotiating a deal for a new farm lease. I have right much apprehension over making the right offer as I’m not sure what the owner is looking for. I need wisdom. Can y’all ask Father to give me wisdom? James 1:5 promises it to those that ask but I know my ability to miss the obvious. Thanks y’all.

@nprofile…j624 This may sound crazy but I've had dreams that all point to the foundation crumbling and under the weight of all the turmoil the structure will fall. I don't often have prophetic dreams but the few I've had have been right on. I too have been praying for peace and sanity, all the while believing the dream was from God, and anticipating severe and violent storms.
I'm certain storms are coming. Soon.

2025-04-03 23:16:34 UTC

ITM, y'all!
I know Adam and John spend most of their time downplaying all that is going on but as i've been watching the X and seeing all the crazy on the news I fear Trump won't be able to get a handle on this brushfire. I bet we see some degree of cilvil conflict sooner than later.
What say y'all?

2025-03-13 12:49:13 UTC

ITM, I could use some prayer. I have a large ornery heifer that needs to be found and cut out of the herd. With my only roping horse recently deceased, catching/loading her on foot, and her dangerous disposition, all by my lonesome, in a time crunch, I could use some agreement from above to this endeavor. Worse thing is her jumping a fence.
Thanks y'all.

In the span of 7 hours I dropped a razor knife on the side of my foot (one in a million slice down the side and bottom) and got butted by my son's prize cow. Today I ache from my foot to my neck. Add all the cold rain aggravating my old sports injuries this ole boy is sore. Getting older sucks!

2025-02-07 23:18:55 UTC

ITM!
After a few weeks of the father-in-law acting nuts it's looking like he may have gone insane. He's definitely presently insane, the question is if tis is permanent . Any of y'all have a prayer time any time soon perhaps y'all could throw one up and in his direction. His name is Ken. Thanks in advance.

With all the rain and unable to do most of my work the wife gave me a list of things to get done. On that list is finding new work boots for my 13 year old. The lad is already 5'11" and wearing size 12 EE. Have y'all seen how expensive work boots are? Holy cow!

On of the "ruling elders" at our ultra-conservative Presbyterian church is fixin to die. He had been in remission from Leukemia for about 9 years. He got vaxed and boosted and in 1.5 years cancer has invaded his entire body.
Although sometimes gullible, he's one of the most honorable men I've ever known. His family is highly respected by our community, even though they all went to Clemson.

My oldest is a few years away from college but unless he goes to The Citadel or an ag school like Iowa State I'm encouraging him to go to trade school. One day I'd like my boys to partner with each other and take over the family farm. Either because it is a deeply gratifying occupation or because it keeps them away from the crazies out in the real world.

I don’t know what those folks are like except those many Jerseyans that love to go to school at the University of South Carolina; which don’t seem to be capable.
I have plenty of neighbors here in the Deep South that I’m certain would have shot at them already. I talked one them out of shooting the Chinese balloon when it went directly overhead…

Just finished dining with my aunt and uncle, Chester Gallagher, one of the pro-lifers the feds are trying to bury. He has been sentenced to 18 months for conspiracy in his Tennessee case and awaiting sentencing in his Detroit case. In the meantime he’s refusing to go to Mara Lago to seek a pardon as he says he is absolutely guilty of trying to save children and isn’t interested in not putting the fed’s tyranny on display in court. He’d rather go to prison…
He needs prayer.

I’m in South Carolina so when we freeze it’s not for long.
All my dad’s family are farmers/ranchers in SW Iowa and Nebraska so I’m somewhat familiar with what they do. They have set up a system below their ponds that uses gravity to keep a trickle of water from the bottoms of the ponds flowing that doesn’t freeze except in the hardest of freezes.

Last year the wife convinced me to use some pasture for raising a meat type of sheep. She has been cooking with the first one we processed. Daggum! Tonight she made gyros using fresh herbs she skillfully grows. Daggum!!! I’m so glad she talked me into it even though the local cattlemen have had right much fun at my expense every time I go to the feed store.
I recommend finding a local farmer and buying a processed lamb.

@nprofile…jaa7 agreed, that game seems to deprive me of my point. However, when compared the Bama schedule, conference and non-conference games alike, Boise St doesn't compare.
What Bama’s AG is arguing is the playoffs ought to determine the best teams, not just best records. SEC team-fans all pity Mountain West teams.

2024-12-09 11:18:50 UTC

Yesterday my sons and I were outraged when we saw the college playoff brackets. The idea that Boise St or BYU made it but not Alabama or South Carolina is hard to swallow. I know objectively the records dictate the game
But we all know what Bama would do to Boise State in a head to head. Shouldn’t we all be after the best?
For any of y’all that care about truth, justice, and the American way.
